At 7 weeks old, the Royal Cam chick is starting to realize that these wings might have some significance after all! LGL arrives home in the late afternoon - just in time to give her chick a nice squid supper! The sun was starting to fade in the sky - what a beautiful day and view! LGL feeds her chick and then she walks over to say hello to the neighbor's chick before she departs back out to sea! The parents will for the most part now just come in for a feeding and not stay very long as they have to continually go out and forage for more food in order to feed their ever growing chick! Dad (LGK) comes home for a short visit to feed the hungry baby. He goes from chick to chick to find her.  "Parents find their chick through visual cues and vocalizations such as skycalling."
