It's 10 am here now.  58 degrees already.  I will go out somewhere for sure about noonish. Looked in on Snow and found that Mr. had been in at 8AM and red up the joint.  Even put the thermometer back together and hung it.  I am glad to see that.  I missed it more than I expected.  Others did too probably. LOL.
Most cams look normal now. Nice weather everywhere. New Mom Falcon does not like the bugs.  She keeps trying to bite them as they go by.  Going to get worse for her I fear.  TV cam still black.
I need to start my day now.  So CUL EV1 GBU.

Yes Cal,
Berea Animal Rescue has built a great following under the originators.  Now though they have matured and the originals are gone.  Right now the board has hired new managers.  At least one of whom seems to be managing by rumor.
I will just wait a while.  Then offer to help.  Debbie is now kind of a veteran there  in her group of "dog walkers", and I don't want screw up her relationships.  When Deb leaves or gets negative treatment, we will be glad to take them on for the sake of the critters.  Who after all are the real reason we volunteer.
I pray you will not give up Cal.  You have done the hardest part and will slowly heal in spite of what they have you doing. Maybe try calling someone while you are doing stuff every time it hurts too much and asking them if that is what they expect?   If not, what to do about it?
Too nice for me to stay in now.  So I put my walker and fishing gear into the car.  I will go to The Hungry Bear first.  Then to my favorite Medina Park to walk and fish a little.
I did bike to get mail.  Hard peddling against the wind for me.  I catch a lot of wind due to a large cross section.  I am not aerodynamic.  LOL.
I put a new seat cover on the bike.  Old one split open.  The wanted $125 to recover it.  Last time  lasted two years and was only $25.  So I just put duct tape over the cracks.  Worked ok, but looked kind of junky.  The tape was bright green. LOL.
While shopping for gifts at Walmart I found a nice looking padded black cover for $9.95.  It looks great and should be softer too. That counts. LOL.
All of You, and the cams are on your own for a while now.  I will CUL EV1 GBU
Good morning EV1.  Cams look normal this morning.  Except that Snowman has been invaded by blue jays.  Lots of them.  Seems unusual to me seeing this many at one time. Well I am heading out on my own today.  First I will go to Letha House park to fish.  Then to LaGrange Masonic Temple for fund raiser breakfast 8 until 1. Will be my lunch.  Then to visit Bonnie for a while, then home maybe.  Probably for a nap.
Thinking of you Cal..  Praying for you and Brenda for your comfort.
Bye now EV1 GBU.

hi joho this morning at 4;30 am i got on that bike jim was in the barn doing his mule indy he sat down ask me if they added more to that resistance i looked said no it is still on 4 minutes they have taken off a minute of passive easy pedals for you and they still have 4 minutes of active i pedal keep it always in the blue yellow too slow red too fast and after resistance still have a minute back to active so i started it up and when it got to resistance i was in some pain they did not add more minutes they made resistance even harder i was trying to pedal that bike i almost hit that stop sign jim was going to hit it h e saw how much harder it was. i did that other ellipse i bought it pedals for me but it moves pretty fast it has three speeds fast faster and

but i did it and did okay on it it sure works my knee too but not as bad as that robotechbike i hit pain level at 5 again sad face hoping someone calls me about it. i am not better at all  that resistance i did it but not better worse i think. hard to not give up i am almost to that point  dont have a mule anymore dont have a barn cant go down in the basement see my mom cats cant even go out in the garage now hard to get back in the laundry  dont have a car i can drive anymore no nothing.  i miss that last day i went out to the barn drove my sisters car got the mail i am worse off now. only asking for to be pain free now my medicine not really helping there and i am not taking a bunch of it and being dope sick in hope of getting a break from this pain.  just want to go back and be like i was using that knee scooter and having some arthur pain  bad for jim too i feel bad for him he is pretty much taking care of everything and when i say never again have any surgery he now agrees with me he does not  have to feed my cats in my room i do that and i feed the dogs but he does indy raccoonies mice lucy garage cats bird feeders outside feral cats i hear my barn swallows on the front porch making their nest i left the fan out there from last summer hope i can at least get out the front door and plug that in i will not be able to go downstairs and out that door and plug that fan in for them down there.

Good morning. 7:45 here.  Snowman is like the good old days.  The feeder is gone, but nothing is torn up.  Ken is probably gonna leave it to Brenda this morning.  He can have the repair day off.  Thanks bears.  We still love you.  Blue Jays coming in now.  Saw 8 already.  Snow has a new black beany hat.  His rakish grad hat was always over his eyes. A little black bear took a very quick bite at about 5:58.  Took six tries to get his picture for Debbie.
Saw mom falcon feed her four fluffballs early this morning, and now enjoying the sunrise there.  We have the best operators, I tells you.
I am up a little early, because a new yellow lab puppy is growing up behind me.  He loves to be outdoors early, but not by himself.  He calls his parents to come throw the ball until they get dressed and come out for a while.  Mom came out for about 5 minutes to walk around and talk to him.  Then went i, and left him out.  He is just lying by his back  line looking around.  He has an electric buried barrier to keep him safe.  It is working great. Good thing I love dogs and like to get up early. LOL
Hang in there Cal.  Debbie said my niece Diane had a very bad knee experience for the first month.  She shared your misery.  Now she is fine and glad she did it.  So there is hope for you and meanwhile you have company.
Bye now EV1.  I gotta go see eye doctor at 10:30.  Watery eyes and glasses don't work.  Nothing serious.  It's been this way for three years except that these are new glasses that still don't work. OH OH A little bear just came to snow.

Well went to see Dr. Corry Weitzel.  She is so nice to me.  She wants me to go see another to get drainage improvements in my eyes.  Debbie says she is familiar, and I should do it.  I'm thinking of starting with one eye.  Dr. says left eye first, because there is some scar tissue.  I'm sorry to say that we did not agree on which eye is best for reading.  This may become a problem later.
I told her I wanted a prescription for reading glasses so I could get some off the Internet for cheap as a test.  I have been paying over $300 to the Clinic for glasses that don't work.  She said we need to wait until the drains work.  Then retest vision.  I think she did say there is a change since the last exam in December.  INMHO that one was wrong.  Did I do that right code speakers?
What a great day here though.  I should be out riding.  I will go now and quit belly aching.  I am fine.
Bye now EV1.  CUL GBU, Ukraine, and the USA!!!

Good morning EV1.  Nice here by Lake Erie now, but rain is coming they say.
I'm looking at the live cams at the Center.  My guess is that the bear on the No. 1 cam and the Habitat cam are the same bear named Tasha. I am guessing this because that is where we saw her on our several visits to the center.  The only other bear I see is on Cam 4.  I think this is Lucky, because that is where we saw him when we were there.  Please someone let me know if I am wrong, and maybe where is the round bear, Holly?
Snowman was spared until late in the night.  He is biting the ground now.  The table is standing and the feeder is in view. The fluffball pile at GSB is much bigger than last week.  They are growing like they think they are baby eagles. LOL!!  The St. Vrain and Trempleaue babies are up and looking for breakfast.
I miss you Cal.  Hope you are doing better.  Easy does it they say. Time heals all wounds.
I am praying for you and Brenda to be strong enough to endure your burdens and find comfort.
Now after a good early start I will go get second coffee.  No cereal this morning.  I did not get milk last night so I had to get my friend Jimmy Dean out of the freezer and into the microwave. LOL!
By for now EV1 GBU all.

I just did the puzzle.  Thanks Cal. (But where's the time?)  You might ask. Lost is my guess.  Was not great.  :)
71 degrees and cloudy, but no rain yet.  Lots of mowing out there today.
Rode bike around the big block and got the mail.  I was tired when I got back into the garage.  I took off helmet and my shoes which I leave in the garage.  Then I noticed I still had my outgoing mail in my shirt pocket.  Sooo I put on my shoes and helmet and got baaack on my bike and rode to the mailbox again....  I was really tired when I got home this time.  Wind drag is significant.   Sitting around all winter has made me soft and weak.
I will go now to check cams.  It was nice seeing those two this morning.  Wish I knew who they are for sure.  My guess is Lucky and Tasha.
 Bye now EV1. GBU

Cal, I loved that picture of your mom on her horse, Roxie. Thanks for the Mother's Day wishes. Did you look like her? It's hard to read about the pain you're enduring. It won't take away your pain right away by saying this, but of all the people I know who've had knee replacements, none of them regretted it. I hope that will be the case for you in time. In the meantime, I feel very sad that you're suffering.

Jo, I hope you get your glasses situation worked out. With all the riding and driving you do, let alone reading, you need to see well! Thank you for your prayers for my sister. She just got all of her beautiful thick (she started losing it fast) hair cut very short yesterday. It's sad to think about, but she looks adorable and said it feels great.

Paulie, I hope things are going well for all of you at the cabin.

I got my hair cut mostly off too, Nan.  I wish you could see it.  Lots of skin.  We can say it's in sympathy, and I will say that in hopes it helps Brenda in some way.
I agree with Nan Cal.  After you heal you will be glad you can get around better.  Meanwhile if it hurts don't do it.
Bye now EV1.  GB all those in need of comfort.  Especially Cal and Brenda and those who love and care for them.
I will go cook now.  Maybe I can look in on our babies and report back later.  We'll see.
Oh my! No cooking yet.   I just saw the nice bear eating the feeder on the ground.  No damage yet to other things.  It is 7:06 PM there.
O h my! Again!!  TV cam is on.  Yay, more babies soon.  When it started, the residual image was her rolling two eggs. All the other babies are OK.  It does look as if the bugs are starting to bother them and their parents too. Darn.  This can be serious.
Bye now. This time for real.  I will not waste away but I will get grumpy if I don't get fed.

Good Thursday Morning EV1.  Nice still 64 degrees with a gentle rain this morning has just stopped.
When I sat down here I heard a noise like ice falling down my gutter just outside my window.  I went out to see if critters were in the gutter and was surprised to see Mom and Dad Robin in my lawn.  It was the Robin family.   They were cheeping and getting little redworms for the baby.  I did not see him, but I'm sure he's near and doing well.  There are some little shrubs for him to hide in.
I put coffee on to brew on my way here.  It's done and cooling.  So I will leave you for a while.
CUL EV1 GBU
PS Just saw a mail truck go by my window.  Maybe I will get a text from Denise soon that the mail is in the box.  I will use my umbrella and go get it if true.
I have already seen lots of action at the cams.
Hope you are having as nice a morning as possible today.  My grass and flowers are ecstatic with the warm gentle rain.
