I'm also glad you're here, Cal, but I hope things improve sooner rather than later! Patience is often very hard. I'll tell Bren what you said. Thank, you!

I'm Back.  Looked at cams.  Saw two TV and two eggs by scrolling back a little.  Snow is still a bear mess.  Saw one bear on Live Cam.  Probably was Tasha since I watched as she walked from the scale around and into the first pen where I usually see her.  Falcons and eagles look normal this morning.
Now I feel like I need a nap.  I think my glasses are doing that to me.  It was a real strain to get through the little paper.
I better sign off and rest for a while.
It's kind of a dreary day here.  Rained last night which was nice for sleeping. Today dawned cooler and grey.  Only 46 now at 11.
 Bye for now EV1 GBU.

Lady is cleaning up at Snowman now.  It's 3:40 here.
It's 6PM here.  Snowman is ready for the night shift.  I saw three deer running to the left along the far woods about an hour ago.  They did not come up near the table.
The Big Bear CA babies are snow covered due to the mountais I guess.  The MN babies are having a nice day.  TV don't care they have the best nest of all.
I am finally cooking the last of the leftovers from Debbie's Easter. My first try at split pea soup.  Made several errors already.  Mostly about over cooking veggies, and using water instead of chicken stock to boil the bone.
Don't worry though.  I will eat it all eventually.
I tried to find the Transport Group.  I think I have been deleted.  I have 2 or 3 real phone numbers.  I will check with them on Monday to see what is going on.

cal, I have a suggestion for your pain and med making you sick. If I understand correctly the pain med is making you sick. If so Please call your doctor .. even tomorrow Sunday there will be an on-call doctor. Ask for a prescription anti nausea medication. An Rx is stronger than OTC. Hopefully this will help you not feel sick while taking care of you feeling less pain, therefore, helping you sleep better and exercise and help you be in a better frame of mine/better mood. It's worth a try cal considering how miserable you're feeling. God bless you. I hope you feel better very soon.

jo, Your breakfast with newspaper sounded cozy and pleasant. Also your weather today made for a good nap day. If you still want to be on the Transport Group I hope it works out for you that you are.

Hi nan, Both you and your sister Bren are in my thoughts often. When you are I say a prayer for both of you. Has Bren decided on what she is going to do treatment wise? If you prefer not to say that's perfectly okay. Honest. Prayers continue.

Good morning EV1.  6:32 Nice and sunny out.  Only 46 degrees though.
Oh!!! My ears are ringing again. Sounds like &***&####.  I think I know where that's coming from.  I hear Zofran for nausea is indicated.
Good morning EV1 .  The bear had a nice long leisurely picnic last evening at dusk with porky and racoon.  Then tore things up again and ran off.
Will do puzzle later. Trying to help get some free dirt for Shannon's leaky basement this morning, because the sun is shining here.  Diggers are working.  Everyone is sick from Nick at Easter.  So I have to go coordinate delivery myself.

cal, Thanks for explaining you live in Missouri but were born and raised in Kansas. Very nice about little farm in Kansas and one of your sisters lives there. That's special.

I thought of you when I heard about predicted weather storms and in your area. It's moving east and the area where my cabin is located in the the warning zone too. Let's hope the storm fizzles out.

Please be careful removing compression socks and lowering the numbers on your bike. I hope you get relief and need sleep soon.

Did the Dramamine help you?
Take care.

jo, I think your area in Ohio is in the warning zone for predicted storms, correct? Maybe not.

Interesting about the bear having a leisurely mean then tore things up before leaving.

Good luck getting dirt. Uh oh! to everyone being sick from last Easter. Stay healthy.

Hi nan
I know you aren't in the warning area for storms. At least it wasn't this morning.

Hi cal, Jo, and Paulie - I hope you can all avoid any bad storms. No one needs them! None coming my way for now.
Cal, I hope you feel at least a smidgen better each day in some way. Don't risk trying that big first step. It will be a happy day for you when you can do that and so much more.
Paulie, Good suggestions for cal! All of my immediate family (except my son in CA) visited Bren today. She had extra company, too, and entertained all of us. Met her favorite nurse and the oncology doctor. They seem great! As of today, she's had two chemo treatments. Even though it's not a good prognosis, she wants to do whatever she can to stay with us as long as she can, and we're very grateful for that. Thanks to all of you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
Jo, I'm sorry to hear about the sickness going around in your family. I agree with Paulie - do what you need to do to stay healthy.
Goodnight!

Good Morning.  Boy! Those bears are really determined to wreck the feeding station. When I went to bed they had been there at least twice.  Now I see they came back during the night again and threw Mother Goose for a loop. Apparently just for fun.  The rest of the wreckage was done earlier.  So this just seems spiteful to me.
Now for some nice morning activities.  You know what.  C, C, and P ( Saved Since Sat.)

I don't mind at all that you talk about your challenges. I know you've had many, especially now. I remember from the past that you've lost many loved ones to cancer. It doesn't seem as though there will ever be a cure. Stay away tornado!!!
Jo, I love the funny way you describe the feeding station.;)

Man came to Snow at 7:10 am.  He chased a flock of turkeys away, and red up Snowman and table
Must be embarrassing for him to wake up and see his International Cam looking so bad.  He did a quick fix up and went away.  No feeder yet, and I don't see new food.  I suspect the lady will be there soon for food.
Good to see you Cal.  I'm still praying for your comfort and quick healing.  I don't recall any of what you are sufferring with.  Only the odd discoloration on my shin.  I mean , yes it was bad for a while after I fell off my bike on the new knee.  Even that did eventusally heal. I had to buy some really big bandages to cover my gash and the new abrasions.  I used up a lot of peroxide and triple antibiotic grease too.
Well I will go now.  No dirt all day .  Today I am thinking to go get some more help with my $300 glasses that I can't get used to.
Debbie went to ARF yesterday to spend time with the dogs as usual.  She sent me a picture of her companion for the day.  He was very handsome.  I think he looks a lot like a wolf.  I will share his pic on my phone, but I don't know yet how to get onto my computer.  Someday I will, but not yet.  I am jealous how you all do this.  I am not good at emojis either. :P:P;p see?
I just Googled Bob Anderson Falcon Man. It was heart warming to read of his exciting, but far too short, life.  He is missed by many in all walks.
It is a grey day.  Warming up now.  I have not seen or heard any rough weather around here.  So I am glad and sorry for those who are being threatened.
Bye for now EV1 GBU

Hi cal, jo and nan. I haven't been here for two days. I had some reading to do.

Hi nan, Very nice that most of your immediate family visited Bren the other day. That's loving and awesome. That's family!
Very nice you met her favorite nurse and her oncology Dr. That's important I think. God bless her having begun chemo treatments and making the decision to stay with you all as long as she can. Prayers continue for Bren.

Agreed to no one needs those nasty storms.

Well the cabin was in direct line of them after they passed through Pittsburgh. I was able to watch from the front and rear Ring cameras. I keep an eye on the tall trees that are everywhere and the water for puddling/flooding around cabin. Well we lost power. I was getting alerts and warning for the storm. Then lost power so the Ring cams aren't working now. They're hard wired in cabin. Our cables are underground to the powerline way behind the cabin. I got a text from electric company that crews are being dispatched to locate the problem.

jo, You're in Ohio near Erie PA, correct? Maybe not. Did storms move thru your area.
Oh my heavens you fell off your bike onto your new knee! I can only imagine how that pain felt and your frustration too. Sounds like lots of bandages etc you used. Good that it healed nicely for you.
Did you get some dirt? And hopefully you got help repairing your glasses. After you spent that much on them someone better fix them.

cal, Good to you getting Zofran. If the hospital surgical staff had known you would get nauseous and sick from the anesthesia and pain meds they could have giving you anti-nausea med before and after your surgery. That's what my two daughters and I do to prevent nausea and getting sick after procedures.

Well look at you! It's now going on to the magical second week after surgery and you went to the barn and oh my heavens got into Polly's low car and drove it. That's determination for sure. You're dealing with the pain better. Good for you! Good you have appointment with Dr on Friday.
