Obsver I haven't seen a Ponderosa in YEARS!  I used to love going there!

Oh no Honey!!!  At least she isn't suffering now.  :'(   Honey was sure beautiful.  The picture of her shedding out (the one before her swimming)  I guess #5 of that bunch, reminds me of my Morgan I had.  Stormy would get real red in the winter and that was about the chocolaty brown she got when she shed out.

Neva, I'm sorry Maddie is having trouble!

That picture of Little Bitsy,, Taffy, Timmie,  and Snickers is adorable JP!

11:30 and it's up to 43 with a stiff east wind.  Part of the walk this morning was a bit nippy.

Glad your weather wasn't any worse yesterday Cal.

Working with my music collection I realized that I probably have some of your favorite tunes in there.  I could do requests and post them like I did the Firefall tune.  On the other hand I might not have any of your favorites.

Hi Jewelies. How sad about Honey. Such a sweet bear.  :'(  I loved everyone of her pics they posted.

Cal, saw on the news that storm that came your way. You got a lot of rain! Are the barn's gutters doing their job? We got an inch of rain yesterday and spotty showers off and on today. They are saying by next weekend our temps may only be in the low 60's! I wish Soda's eye would get better. I have to hide Molly's meds in cream cheese! And sometimes she can still smell the pill in the cheese! Boo has no problem taking meds because eats anything you give him! Boo needs to go on a diet and he needs to get more exercise. The only exercise he gets is the running he does in his sleep at night! Lol!  He doesn't care much for being outside. He goes out and does his business and goes right back inside.

Jp, I enjoy every bear pic you give us! That's so sweet of you to offer to do post of our fav tunes! I bet you have many of our favorites!

Ra, I watched Blindspot. That show confuses me as much as Blacklist! I need someone to write down what everything means and what is happening so I can keep refreshing my memory with both of those shows! Lol! Sorry to hear about your client's husband. Will she still need you to clean for her now? I know if Crow wasn't here my house would stay a lot cleaner!  Our primary is May 10 and we are being bombarded with political ads! They are driving me nuts!

Neva, my sis's Bernese Mt Dog had to go on a diet and she lost 14 pounds. Now she runs and jumps like a pup! She eats a special diet dog food and, like you said, she gets pieces of the dog food as her treats. Give that Maddie Rose a hug for me!

Nora, are your temps supposed to be cooler next week, too? Hope Joe is doing well. My Crow has carpal tunnel and Guyon's Canal Syndrome on his right hand/wrist. That's the same hand that had the thumb surgery operated on last summer. He has surgery scheduled for May 25. Guess I'll be doing his lawn mowing part of this summer! The doctor thinks that the cast on his arm last year may have caused these 2 problems but of course the doc wouldn't say he put the cast on too tight!

Obsver, my sis is out your way somewhere at a crank in! She was supposed to call me when she checked in the motel but so far no call. Your breakfast sounds yummy! We don't have any Ponderosas around here but there's some in the southern part of the state. I always liked their food.

Willi, hope Henry is feeling better.

Dlong, great pics! You have one fine neighbor! What a nice nice flower bed she made for you!

Star is this morning's star bear.

I sure have had a restless night.  I  don't have any idea why but it was a toss and turn affair.  I think I will go back to bed and see if things get smoother.

I wish a successful Friday to all with positive results in all your endeavors.

Daily Updates
Honey Laid to Rest - UPDATE April 28, 2016
28 April 2016
Print Email
Honey was laid to rest in a location easily accessible to Lily Fans. The many comments on Facebook and in emails today served as a memorial of sorts. Reading them was a White-throated sparrow white stripe morph
White-throated sparrow
white stripe morph
celebration of her life. Thank you. We are all feeling it together.

She will never be forgotten.

Out the window the last couple days, the non-tame gull with the dark red spot on its lower bill is training me to put the bologna where it wants it.

One of the strikingly colored ?white-striped morph? (as the bird books say it) white-throated sparrows sat where the camera could finally capture the details of its head. A less striking ?tan-striped morph? put in an appearance for comparison.

I blame Eli for digging up a chipmunk cache yesterday, but it will now be harder to assign blame because a second male has made an appearance. Pictures to come when they show up in good light.

cal, I studied that car for 8:35 and decided I could not clean it.

I do not have Frank Zappa in my collection so I can not post that song.
