Ra, keep those fire ants down there!  Jp, hope you find some energy today.  Yesterday, when I was in a town 7 mi. away, I saw an eagle fly overhead--definitely had a white head. I'd never seen an eagle in person, so I was pretty excited. Saw my doc.'s wife in the grocery store Was telling her--since she grew up in Nova Scotia, eagles are quite common to her.

cal, You can not keep an orange like a keepsake in your display cabinet.  Either eat it or throw it out as it will turn rotten.  The puzzle took me 4:29 and I could not figure out if the horse was handicapped or the rider.

Rues I hope Robin likes her new faucet.  Last time the owner had a faucet replaced here they put in one with the retractable sprayer.  In all honesty I preferred the old sprayer that wasn't part of the faucet.  I could pull it out further and the hose pulled out and retracted a lot easier than the metal one in the faucet.  A lot of people like them though    Bet those boards will be nice on your fence.

Hi Jewelies!  Hot here... about  85^o, tomorrow even hotter!  Think I'll stay inside tomorrow.  I went back to Lowe's today and got 10 more bags of mulch, put it down already.  That makes 66 bags now...

Henry was at the vet today for some tests.While being picked up, he was attacked by a pit bull while standing on leash at front desk by Jerry. Dog would not let go, Jerry had to kick dog. Henry is still at the vet. He has a broken rib, wound to get cleaned out and lots of hair off his tail.

Awww, willi!  Poor old Henry!  Seems like the other dog's owner should be responsible for the bill!  Hope Henry heals fast.  Poor thing!

I am watching mom and dad well they are gone right now kids all by themselves..i see that egg is still in the nest. what will they do with that egg?  can't believe how big them kids are they were just little bitty a little while back i remember how fast they grow. like drama..lots of flies on that nest why don't they clean up that nest. poor kids..oh parent is back!

well mom and dad are feeding them two kids. they should be whoppers when they grow up. i went to DNN nest and man that mom looks just like this mom. must be related for sure..how cool is that..well that is it for that poor fish.

Hi cal!  I have always said that DNN mom looks just like Decorah mom.  The only thing different is she has Decorah Dad's guy liner!    It would be cool if we could find out if they're related, wouldn't it?  They say that the egg will become part of the nest... just keep getting covered up.  Hope it doesn't draw more flies... they have plenty without that!!  Good idea to keep the seeds of your orange!!  Now, you can EAT THE ORANGE!!  LOL

Ra, Omg,  I didn't  like what I saw on The Blacklist! I didn't see that coming! How can they go on with the show without one of the main characters? Do you watch Criminal Minds? I was shocked when Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) left the BAU! Didn't see that coming either! But they didn't kill him off so there's always hope he will return.  My gosh, you have put down a truck load of mulch! I still haven't bought one bag yet! lol! It was 85 here this afternoon! Refuse to turn the ac on this early so got all the ceiling fans running! Robin's faucet has just the sprayer coming out of that main thing, no handle. On the sprayer there's a button type thing that adjusts the spray. Does this make sense?

Cal, cutest video from Janice! Those food thieves are so funny!  I think carnations, dianthus are pretty and they smell so good. The stores here are just getting in all their plants. My older sis hates fruit just like Jim! Can't imagine not liking fruit! Can't wait for the local strawberry crop to ripen. Sadly my apple tree is taking this summer off. There are only  a few blooms  on it. I still have several containers in the freezer enough to bake several pies!

Willi, how scary for Henry and Jerry! Hope Henry is ok, the poor thing.

Nora, When we picked up the faucet for Robin, Crow asked me if I wanted one, too. I said no thank you...I like the one I have! The fence guy came back today to replace a short  fence picket and said he liked the way that extra board looked!

RUES!!! Finally!  lol  I've been busting to talk about Blacklist!  Could you tell?  lol  Liz is the star of the show!  I'm thinking that it was a trick, so the guy will quit looking for her.  I hope so, anyway!  Yes, I watched Criminal Minds when Derek left... I sat here and cried!  lol  I don't always watch that show, sometimes it's too creepy and will give me nightmares.  My youngest grand loves Criminal Minds!  I've been blamed for that!  She's too young to watch it, in my opinion.  Too gruesome.  She watches all the old episodes on Netflix.  Have you ever watched the movie Arachniphobia?  All about spiders!  We all hate spiders and I told the girls that they don't ever want to watch it, but youngest grand did, and she laughed through the icky, scary parts!!  She's a little different, I think!  lol  I know what you're talking about with Robin's faucet.  I've seen all kinds at different houses I've worked in.  I think about 10 more bags of mulch and I'll be done.  I don't want to put it where the guys will be putting in the rock on the porch until they're done.  I have plants to put in the ground there, too... I'm getting tired of waiting.  I better get a really good deal...
