Hi Jewelies!  Well, the grand is practicing on her driving.  Saturday she almost hit my mailbox when she drove here.  Today she almost went in the ditch and hit a tree on the other side of the driveway!  lol  Poor thing, she was in tears when she came in the house!   ;)

rues... You watching the Blindspot tonight?

JP... That foot in the pip pic (or HIP pic, they're calling it this year) is different, isn't it?  I wonder if it's normal for an old eagle's foot to turn dark like that.  Dad's foot, right?

cal... did you have a nice quiet day to yourself today?  I bet you were busy!  How's your little hamburger?

Nora... Handsome is being a good boy.  He's a mama's boy though.  He intimidates everyone else... he's got a very different personality than most of my other cats I've had in the past.  He likes to pick on Lily, and she growls and spits a lot.  lol

Almost bedtime... Hope everyone is well!  Hi to all!

Sorry on your "ouch" day JP.  Isn't that picture of Ursula something?!!

Meet Chester.  This is in FaceBook, but this link will work for anyone...  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.818208404949820.1073741862.100002820054173&type=1&l=8f63022f38

Definitely not little, but not as big as Cal's.  He's 60 or so.  I think he looks bigger, Sparky was 50.  Sparky's foster parents have had him about two years.  Matty actually cried when Kelsey was going to bring him over and then she did, they were really attached.  They stopped Sunday and brought him a deer antler.  They had tried to catch this dog for a good two months before they got him hanging out along highway 63 (busy 2-lane road that goes up to Rochester, MN).  He's fantastic!!  Mellow, likes to play ball, and loves hugs, and pets, and pets, AND pets.  Here is what Matty said:  When I got him that day he was 42lbs. Absolutely bones. Didn't trust anyone...tried to bite me, freaked out in my truck. His first few days were rough here. Then he figured out that I was there for him, would always feed him, play with him, and love him. He's been my shadow ever since.

As to us getting him:

We both talked and decided the only ones we could trust were you guys. Chester is very special, he needs people that understand his trust issues and and are willing to be patient and show him other people can love him too. We had 4 or 5 others that were interested but it was never right....for him. I know how good you guys did with sparky and what good care you took of him. Plus I knew you'd let me visit every once an a while.

As to he constantly wagging tail:  All the time. Hes one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. As you get to know him better you'll see the gratefulness im talking about.....he truly doesn't care about anything but making his people happy.  He's truly incredible. You'll find no more loyal or loving dog.

A vicious black bear, Ted.

I think I broke the over sleep record but it sure was comfortable.

Wishes for all to have a lovely Tuesday.  The last one this March.

Hi Jewelies! Real nice day here today...all bright and sunshiny!

MpMom, happy belated birthday! Hope you had a great day!

Nora, Chester is a beautiful boy! It's so good of you and Joe to give him a forever home!

Cal, my older sister started driving when she was 14, too. She always ran around boys that were older and they let her drive their cars. I got my first learners permit when I was 16. The very first time my dad took me out I turned a corner and didn't straighten out the wheel and hit a parked car! It was a little MGB that the body shop guy had just driven out of the body shop!  :o I looked at my dad and asked can we just drive away? Of course he said NO! After settling up with the body shop  Dad drove us home and I never went out driving again. Senior year I took Drivers Ed and still didn't  go for my license. Not until I was 20 did I try it again. Crow and I were getting married soon so I needed my license. Crow was the best teacher! He was so patient with me. I lacked confidence but somehow I managed to pass the driving test!  He taught my baby sister and Robin how to drive when they were 16! I'm still not good at backing up and I cannot parallel park!  Boobie's bracelet sounds beautiful and very special. I know you miss her so much.

Jp, awesome pic of Ted! Glad you are sleeping in more!

Ra, I feel for your grand! She excels in everything she does so I know she'll catch on quickly! I'm the only person I know that made learning to drive a chore!  Yep, I watched Blindspot. Still can't figure out who this other group of people that know her are and what is going on! Thanks for the eagle info! Did hear about Patty Duke's death? I loved the Patty Duke Show.

Hi Willi and Eaglette!
