This is one of Juliet's cubs last year.

Hi, to all.  May your day be a lovely one.

cal, My sympathy over the loss of BB.  He did lead a long life.

Just this short post this morning.  I don't think I am up to speed yet today.

Wow Blschue, those guys are nuts!  At least they're portable houses and NO VEHICLES.

Joe -- Dec. 22nd UPDATE: The conference with nursing, therapy, and whoever all went well. Gundersen called and rescheduled his appointment for the beginning of January, so didn't have to go to LaCrosse today. All we're waiting for now is the doctor to write the discharge order in the morning barring any unforeseen events.

Cal I'm so sorry about BB and also that Babe isn't doing as well.  Big hugs!

Hi Jewelies!  Warm and foggy day today, a little drizzle.  Weatherman says we're in for record breaking temps for Christmas day, around 75o and a chance of T-storms.  Guess I won't be wearing one of my sweaters!  lol  I finished working until Monday afternoon!!  Yay!  I'll be busy getting ready for my Christmas Eve dinner.  I got a boneless turkey breast... I'll make mashed potatoes, dressing, corn, jello salad, and either cherry cheesecake or pineapple upside down cake.  I asked my daughter to bring green bean casserole and you'd think I asked her for one of her arms!!  lol  She's so spoiled...  I still have to make two kinds of fudge tomorrow, too.

cal... Janice sure does send you some good stuff!  That sheep was so cute...it wanted to play and the dogs just wanted to herd it!  lol  Missy sure has been helpful to you with all your dog's meds and stuff.  Feel sorry for her that she has to deal with Jason still.  Nice of Jim to volunteer to stay with Babe so you can go to CA's.  When are you supposed to go?  I'd sure like to be the one holding Bei Bei, too.  That would be just the coolest thing... ever!  That, and holding an eagle!!  I'm glad Babe got better today, I was scared for you this morning.

blschue... Has it been cold enough lately for the ice to be safe enough for that many shanties?  I notice you don't call them shanties... guess that must be a MI thing...  lol

JP... That is such a cute pic of Juliet's cub!  Sure doesn't look like a mean, ole bear, does it?   ;)

Nora... Thanks for the Joe update!  Hope he gets to come home tomorrow!  I think, anyway...   :o  lol

Hope everyone is doing ok, has their Christmas stuff done, and has a good evening!  Hi to all!

Hi cal!  You better hook up a trailer to your car for Jim's food!  lol  Nice of Boss Janice to work on a reunion.   :D  I don't have anything else to do... might as well make a bunch of food.  lol

Hi Cal! I was holding my breath reading about Babe. I'm so glad she is ok. That's so nice of Jim to stay home and look after Babe so you can go to CA's. Sometimes our hubbys can surprise us! I saw a dog food ad on tv that claims it can help senior dogs. Wonder if that's what Babe is eating now? I should write this stuff down when I see it because I always forget what it is called later!  Janice's videos were so cute! I wish I had Boo and Molly trained to bring in my groceries!  :D  What a great idea to have a cousin reunion!  Robin saw Star Wars last night! She loved it!  Hoping you and Babe have a restful night.

Jp, hope you felt better as the day progressed! Sweetest pic of Juliet's cub. Did you hear about the Boy Scout leader that went into a cave not knowing a bear was hibernating in it? Hope they don't punish the bear for the man's mistake.

Ra, we're having a turkey breast for Christmas dinner, too. Actually it's a repeat of Thanksgiving dinner! Only difference is no pumpkin pie. Instead I'm baking a new cake recipe. It's a lemon cake. I've never made it before so I don't know how it will turn out! Christmas Eve we go to Robin's so she can light her fireplace and have the ambiance! I'm afraid this holiday isn't going to be fireplace weather though! Now they say it could hit 75!  I have one of those spoiled daughters, too! :D

Nora, hope Joe comes home tomorrow. Bet Sparky misses his dad!

Blschue, those people are crazy! Hope they can swim!

Eaglette, are your kids there yet?

Dlong, is your computer fixed?

Obsver, will your east coast daughter get to come home for the holidays?

Can't believe I waited until 6:30 to start doing laundry!  ::) Got to go check the dryer. But first got to tell you what happened last night...I was talking to my sister on the phone when all of a sudden she yelled "cuss word, cuss word" my Christmas tree just fell over! :D She called me back later to tell me that her dogs and cats weren't the cause, the tree just toppled over on its own. Glass ornaments were broken and presents under the tree were wet along with her carpet! She blamed Sandy for not putting the tree trunk down far enough in the tree stand! Ok, really have to go now! Have a great evening everyone!

Hi rues!  I have a suggestion for your Christmas eve fire... Get some construction paper and cutout some different size and color flames. lol  It's going to be way too hot for a fire!  lol  Does your lemon cake have a frosting or drizzle or something?  I need to take a dessert to the Christmas brunch and can't decide on cheesecake or upside down cake, so I'm going to make both and decide Christmas eve.  I'm also taking a breakfast casserole...  I wanted to take something new, but everyone said they wanted the casserole, so I was outvoted.  lol
