hi ra! i am so excited too! go nyquist! sorry you had to eat with posbh! i put on my new boots. they fit fine. just heavier than my tennis shoes so have to work harder picking up my feet. but protect my sore bad nail fungus skin hard as cement toe. my other foot dr pos when he did bunion surgery the big toe goes out to the side. he said i promise that will go away well guess pos it did not been almost ten years. i went and saw another foot doctor he said dr pos over corrected it he could do surgery and fixed that wire. um no done with foot surgery my other foot dr pos did nerve damaged to my big toe. he says well at least it is straight. pos

Ra, yes, I just finished watching Blacklist!! Omg! What a cliff hanger! Now we have to wait till fall to see what happens next!

Cal, glad your new boots fit! They should protect your toe and nails!  Do you have a pair of cowboy boots, too? 

Well, our mayor said today that carbon filters will be installed at all the well sites but that may take 2 to 6 weeks! In the mean time there are plans for a pipeline to be installed on top the ground connecting our treatment plant with Parkersburg's water treatment plant. They are hoping to get permission from CSX to lay the pipe line along the railroad tracks right of way between our 2 cities.  My town is like a suburb of Parkersburg but we don't like to be called that! If for some reason the pipeline doesn't happen then the tanker trucks and bottled water will continue to be available to all that need it. They say that home refrigerators with carbon filters and other water filters like Brita filters will work but there is no way of checking to see how accurate they are or how long they are effective. Since there has been no state of emergency declared from Charleston the National Guard and the Red Cross can not assist the city. The mayor said that by law the water tankers trucks must have 24 hour protection! Just in case someone would try to contaminate the water! The Salvation Army got a truck load of bottled water donated to the city and it is coming all the way from Florida! Our mayor says this is a major problem that is fixable but will take time. At  least it is safe to bathe in!

Wow, rues...  What a story!  Sounds like a big mess!

cal... Glad your boots fit!  Your legs will probably be stronger now, with the extra weight!  lol  I got a screw in my foot to keep my big toe straight when I had the surgery.  Straight as can be still... after over 20 years.

Hi Rues! What a mess! I got that filter deal on our frig. i don't think i would trust that water for my dogs and all my animals. i don't drink water if i do on a rare occasion it is bottle water. sister drinks the water here but also other stuff. jim drink bottle water mostly. i steal one of them for my birds and my hamsters. sounds like they will get it fix but like they said will take time. like you said at least you can take a bath. just don't go under and swallow any! will your restaurants stay open? how about dairy queen and mcdonalds? I don't know can you wash your dishes? use paper plates i do here all the time. don't forgot to tell me what your hya is this morning. i hope mine will be on. have not check the guide yet. remember when we got a tv guide in the mail? we subscribe to them little magazine with all our tv shows for the week. now it is on the tv just hit a button. do they still sell them tv guides?

Hi Ra!! Good night!! the boots are hurting my right foot the one with the toe that goes way out there. hurts the bottom not the heel the upper part. what is that call? Jim came home with his friend jeff yesterday afternoon. he had taken the van. sister said when she left friday jim took the van. i said i see that maybe has an ac stop. i was in the barn getting my gas can to mow the dogs yard. jim was in the house jeff out by the van. he did not even see me. his tongue was hanging out. like boo boo does with his. i was thinking why is he doing that. so after i put gas in i let my hood slam shuts bam so jeff looked and saw me. he kinda mumbled something i just waved and then he drew his tongue back in. jim came out and the unload this big dresser out of the van. he said see the dresser i bought for the lake. yes but why do you need that? i don't know..put stuff in there. he told jeff to help him load up that bbq grill. i went to mow and they went to the lake. jeff seemed a little slow. i wonder if he had a stroke or something.

Hi, Jewelies! Another day of sunshine--got my mowing done yesterday and will be planting flowers today. What would really make my day, though, would be hearing that rues, your water situation is solved, and cal, that your boots are comfortable.  Wed., we took our stray male to Ft. Wayne to the discount spay & neuter place. We dropped him off at 8:00 and had to hang around town until 3:00, but the charge was only $45. He is doing great. Got to eat at the Thai restaurant, which is always a treat. Ra, I have trifocals, too. Bifocals were hard to get used to, but I never had a problem adjusting to the trifocals. Every new class each year always wanted to know why I have lines on my glasses. One of my sons is 41 and doesn't need glasses yet. The other didn't need them until he was 50. The girls started needing them in elementary school.  Cal, glad to know Jim didn't have to stand in a long line at the airport. Willi, I'm looking forward to reading the newest Nora Roberts when the lib. gets it. I always fall in love with her men ! lol lol Jp, keep on having good days!!! Hi, Dlong, nora, bischue, Eaglette, neva, pat, chippy!!!!!  Big Tony is sitting on my lap. Is that a good excuse to stay put?

Hi Obsver! I went to the feed store earlier and when i went in a little blue heeler puppy came running over to me. what a darlin too. i picked her up and kissed her and said what is wrong why are you whining and she told me too. jill said to the man who owned her oh oh she will take your puppy and i said to him no i will not unless you don't want her. her name is jessie and he said they have two kids and between all of them jessies feet hardly hit the ground which is good cause when they do she bites at their feet. he asked if i had dogs jill was laughing do i have dogs!! i told him and told him got a catahoula leopard hound dog and he knew that breed. hog dog i said she runs the show..rolls that big puppy of ours. He said they have a little boxer calihoula size and she runs the neighborhood dogs.  he was getting her some treats and i started to sit her down and she cried out so i didnt he paid for his stuff and took her and thanked me. i told jessie see you later. she will be much bigger next time i see her. came home and the weather man said enjoy the weekend cause every single stinkin day next week storms! i went to the barn put a mask on rose cause she is same breed as soda appy and she too will be prone to that moon blindness so protecting her eyes now. i told them girls what the weather man and soda said okay and out she went but them other nope. told me to throw some of that alfalfa hay. i did and turn on all the fans sprayed them down. cleaned up the barn. came in and my foot hurts. that bad toe had to take them boots off. i think i will go see not dr. buzzard forget him but np teresa and asked her about some laser on hard skin like you said. still would like an xray see if something under the skin there. i hope to read some of that nora roberts new book i downloaded last night. first chapter really really good. talking on the fox news how bad the air travel will be this summer. jim goes to denver end of june but no problems at kci i don't know about when he flies back. happy your 45.00 boy is doing good.  i don't know what trifocals are. one for seeing far away one regular nothing and one for reading? i got them floaters in my right eye. only bothers me when i look up at the sky and since i cleaned out my frig for company a few weeks when i look in there see them floaties. do they have glasses for that? yes big tony is a good reason to sit and do nothing but tend to him.

I found my Go but not the Get UP, yet.  I Looked at the kitten in there with the little dog for 5:18 and decided that discretion was the better part of valor so I left.

Preakness today sad in the early race Homeboykris 9 year old died after winning the race. Believe a heart attack and 4 year old Pramedya suffered a broken leg on that muddy track. She was euthanized on the track. oh sob. hoping Nyquist wins but most important that all the horses be safe.
