Hi cal, I hope you see a doctor about your BP and getting out of breath. I know and agree doctor appointments aren't fun so think of it this way ............. all your animals need you.  :) And your friends worry about you.  :)

Hi johoward, Thank you for the Happy New Year wishes.

And cal I hope you don't get a lot of snow and no ice hopefully. Whatever the weather is be careful going to the barn.
I'm not sure if you do this but keep cellular phone in your pocket.

5:30  Not much to say this morning.  I have been holed up due to inclement weather.  It is just too cold for me to venture out except to go to the mailbox around the corner.  So I drove there.  No mail today, so I may not go out at all.  Will play Solitaire and watch TV all day.  Maybe I will cook something.  I am finally running low on left overs.  Ham and turkey are nearly gone. I still have some radish and celery chips from Debbie's potato salad ingredients.
I heard from Debbie that Nick won a wrestling match by pin.  He is Brian's oldest boy, and my great grandson.  He is Odin's big brother.  I love these boys.  I have high hopes for their future.  Duffey is their tripod pup.  I may have been calling her Dempsey.  Sorry.
Ok Now I will say solong for a while.  CUL EV1 GBU

Cal, Get some Muck boots.  I learned about them not long ago.  They are easy to get on, and you don't need any heavy socks to be warm.  Debbie is on her second pair.  She wears them every day to walk dogs.  Mine are like new.  They are costly, but last for years usually, and are well worth every penny. You will never have cod feet again. I promise.  Being a country girl I am surprised you don't have them.

School is canceled for snow day, but it is not too bad here yet.
I do like your all terrain boots Cal.  My favorites were Rocky boots.  They were great too, but it took me fifteen minutes to force my big socks into the boots.  One day I took them off and found that they had torn off all the callouses from my twisted toes and heel.  My socks were a bloody mess.
My friend, Billie, told me about his Muck boots that he had worn for twenty years. My Rural King Store ran a sale soon after that.  I went to get some, but they were sold out.  Then I went to my Tractor Supply  store, and asked the clerk about Muck boots.  She was a farm girl born and bread.  She went on and on about how much she depended on her Muck boots. Could not imagine life without them. LOL!
She was right. They are really remarkable, and I can get them on and off in seconds. I love them.  Debbie loves them.  You will love them too.
I loved my Rocky Boots until I didn't.  I even had them resoled once.
Yes Puppies are a long time commitment.  Good point. I will share that image with some family and friends.  Starting with Debbie.

I did good on the puzzle.  5:16 !!!!
Lots of new snow, but it is warming up just a little.  It is all the way up to 29 degrees now at 11:50.
They just plowed some of my driveway.  They will shovel my walk a little later if I can wait. I may do it myself. I need to clear out around John's Cadillac that's for sale.  i need to air up the tires and get some gas soon.
Debbie's friend from Florida is due to be here about Wednesday.  I hope she buys it.  It is making the snow removal challenging.  Debbie told her she will not let it go for less than $2000.  I think that is at least $500 too high, but I will leave it up to her, because she knows how much John paid for it.

Cal, That girl in the front sure looks a lot like "Pam" from The Office.
Hope you are all safe and warm tonight.  It is just a little warmer, and snow is slowing down this evening.  I need to take a chance and drive the Caddy to Sheetz for air and gas.  I hope it makes it. Two tires are pretty soft I think.
Wish me luck.

4:40  Deputy Dog is very funny.  End of report!
Did not really go out much yesterday.  Just warmed up the Caddy and turned it around in the drive so I could get my little Black and Decker compressor closer to the car.  I only have one extension cord, and my closest outlet is on the back wall of my garage.  I will air them up today when I get dressed warmly. Then I will go get gas if roads are not too messy.  I am trying to keep it clean.  Should be sold tomorrow I think.
Debbie is trying to empty John's house to sell it.  Realtor is coming today to take pictures for on line adds. I have told her repeatedly she is doing too much.  This is exactly how I injured my back in three places doing the same thing in my last home.  Needed surgery in all three joints.  Now my spine looks like it has a zipper. LOL  It does match my right knee though.
Sent text to Brian to ask if I need to go get Odin today.  No answer yet.  I am ready if he needs me.
