Thanks for the video of the Chiefs. Very interesting and tense.  Until now, I missed the game and the news entirely.  I am happy the way the game ended up another mysterious win for them. They are truly charmed.  I think it is due to your prince charming Patrick and his magical moves.  Also, maybe some blessings from your famous fan base too.  You know who.
I did not get a truck load.  Two prescriptions, no charge because I am in the gap, some milk, onions, apples, and bread.  It was so cold I skipped the second store, and headed home to my computer.
My Debbie made the newspaper including a picture and is very proud of serving dinner to the county dog pound. It is in The Elyria Chronicle Telegram E Edition.  I think for Wed.  I don't know how to send it on here.  She texted it and the link to me.
I think I will peak in on Dublin Cams to see how cold it is for our Marge.  WOW! 57 degrees everyone nice and warm.
There are no animals on Snowman because the snow is too deep.

8:13 and I was really trying. LOL
I like snow.  I am jealous of MI and PA and NY.
Pretty soon we will be a year older Cal.  Just three more days. I wish you an early Happy Birthday.  My 85th. BTW.  Debbie asked what I want to do or have.  I don't have an answer for her, because I have it all.  I am blessed with friends and health.  Thanks to you all.

Wolf and Fisher, but no Bears - UPDATE November 30, 2024

Wolf passing through
After not seeing a wolf for nearly two months, a wolf paid a quick teaser visit by just cruising through.

 Fisher
Fisher
 Fiaher eating
Fiaher eating
Yesterday the fisher I haven’t seen for a couple weeks paid a visit—and again this morning. It was the male with the big chest blaze posing for a good ID picture. That was enough to have Donna jump in her car late this afternoon hoping to see him. She was rewarded but I don’t know if it’s him or a new one. The quick picture was too dark, almost black. Photoshop brightened it to what we have here, which makes me think even more that it’s a different one. It showed us one thing, though, he (?) can open his mouth wide for thanksgiving leftover. I hope the good big treat will be enough to bring him or her back for a better look.

Dark-eyed junco
Dark-eyed junco

Now after a snowless fall up until a few days ago, the recent snow apparently urged a dark-eyed junco to live up to his nickname, ‘snowbird.’ We’ll probably get pictures of more juncos with better detail here soon.

Thank you for all you do. Saying that makes me grateful all over again for what you did for GiveMN and the intern building.

Michigan Storm Chasers

INCREDIBLE: Our neighbors to the south also experience lake effect snow thanks to Lake Erie, sometimes at much greater magnitudes than us here in Michigan.

This photo is from Ashtabula, Ohio where 3 1/2 FEET of snow has fallen with more on the way!

Many areas along the northeast lakeshore have received between 3-4 feet. A large stretch of I-90 is closed as motorists are stranded due to all this snow.

We appreciate Jennifer for letting us use her photo.

6:07 what a nice old boat.
Got a bad back today.  Taking lots of Tylenol.  1000 mg every 4 to 6 hours. 4 times per day.  Sometimes when I begin to stand up from a chair it really hurts.
Hard to stay on line so I will say CUL EV1 GBU

hi you guys its 18 here 8 in longyear and 37 in iceland.

Hi joho i am so sorry about your back did you lift too much? or did it just come on.  hard to walk with a painful back.  hard to breath too. god please help johos back. does debbie know about your back? What should I do if my back hurts really bad?
Apply heat or ice to the painful area. Use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB) or acetaminophen (Tylenol). Sleep in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs.

5:11
Clear and cool now.  No snow here at all.  Back feels a little better this morning.  Maybe it was just muscle strain from doing too much yesterday. So, YAY, doing nothing is good for me. YAY!
I am really good at that. LOL  I do it every day to keep in my nonshape.
Need to go to seamstress for Debbie's coat and my jacket too.  Both had broken zippers.  Mine is fifty years old, but Debbie's is new.  Then I need to get Odin from the bus.
Thanks Call for the curative coaching.  I am using rest and Tylenol. Lots of both.  It is staring to work I think. At least I can rise from my chair without the excruciating pain of yesterday.  Still, I use my arms as much as possible.
Well now I need to go do something.  Not sure what.  I will at least got to the mailbox and send of my payment o the TV guys.
Bye for now my friends. GBU all.

Thanks Cal,
Happy Birthday to you too. My cold is roaring this morning.  I will ignore it and do what I said I would.  Get Odin from the bus, and go to Cracker Barrel with Debbie.  I will wear a mask all day to protect others.  I hope it works.
I will come back later and do the puzzle. See you then with my time.
Snowman cam has the most snow I have seen.  I have heard of lots near Buffalo NY, but have not seen it.
