Thank you for the clarification MpMom. I either forgot that, or missed our young male going missing. I’ll try to pay closer attention this year.😀 Watching for the anticipated snowstorm now. Fascinating how they are dedicated to the eggs, even when buried in snow.

I love the DNR report on the second egg. They make the nest sound so warm and cozy, and then you see the poor parent. I’m sure it’s cozy and ideal for the eggs. I’d bet if the parents could talk they might have a second opinion.😀 Let’s hope this storm is short lived.

Wish I could reach through the screen & clear the nest off for them. We just finished our 1st plowing & shoveling before the next round shows up.
They are so cute Raleigh. They seem really good together.

I’m jealous of your snow. First time in a long time we didn’t see the first flake this winter. Stay safe and warm. Look forward to your nest updates.

I would love warmer weather Raleigh!!
Just was watching a parent chasing another eagle away from the nest. Couldn't get a pic, to fast for me. I'll keep an eye out.

Mom is a star! KSTP had mom on tv again this am. Taken live yesterday when mom was totally covered with snow, got up to shake it off of her. Way to go mama 8)
