With only an estimated 400 left in the wild, the race is on to save the Philippine eagle—one of the biggest and strongest raptors in the world.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, glad Mike was able to get his allergy shot!  How long is the pollen thick in the air in Payson? Love the baby and kitty sleeping... I woke up this morning and Sam and Sophie were together asleep next to me. Usually it's just Sam and Sophie is somewhere else on the bed!

Phyl, very interesting picture of the earth in the shadow of the moon! How are things going for you and Jim and, of course, Miss Maggie? Erin is coming over tomorrow after work to mow our lawn, it is getting shaggy looking.  ::) ::) What a great video of the Philippine eaglet! Thank you for posting it! The Trempealeau eaglets are looking, and we were all worried! Love the video of the North kids and their synchronized looking at all the things going on around them!  Tiny Chicklets, I remember those!  One of my favorites:

tsk, I think you would like the Rose of Sharon! It gets pretty tall, and I think it does better with some shade, not full sun all day... The flowers are beautiful!

E4E, I think beaches are beautiful, I would love to go to sleep listening to the sound of the waves. Years ago I was at a convention at Amelia Island in FL, I woke up thinking it was storming. It was the waves! We were in condos like these, very close to the water...

EAGLES   I see, that would have to be an overnight if you took in the San Diego Zoo.  Maybe one day. ???

LANI    That's what I thought.  When you were living in the desert he probably felt better as well.  ;)  Glad he was able to get the shot.  Gorgeous cat with baby last night.

PHYL  I suspect the gum machine is a bank??  LOL  Thanks for Amy's blog on the N2B nest gosling jumpers - or not.  Wonder how many times that happens?   Toddler walk for D17 across the nest.  LOL  Beautiful closeup of those pin feathers.   Don't think I have ever seen a grouse in the trees  :o  365      Neil Rettig is involved with the Philippine eagle project and maybe that is how RRP got the camera connection to the nest?

CLYNN   What a great idea for a wind chime - I have a whole box of "questionable" keys  LOL  I took a picture of it.  So S&S will be bed sleepers.  LOL    Lulu doesn't bed sleep much any more.  I'm going to look into the Rose of Sharon at the nursery when it is time to go there.  I've always thought Amelia island would be a good place to go for a vacation.  Would you go back there?   Wish Mr Handsome would fight for Iris.  :(

Good Morning Beakers

clynn - Love the knitted Royal landmarks by Margaret Seaman!  Thank you, I did have a great time yesterday.  LOL, getting "prizes" ready.  Thanks for the Iris and Mr. Handsome pics.

tsk - It was a good day!

E4E - Thank you  :)

Phyl - Thank you  :)  Oh, I love that bubblegum.  I sometimes still see it at certain places.

Lani and karen - Thank you  :)  Another pic of Sydney and her big eyes.  She loves that pacifier, too!

Animal Portraits winner
Lewis Newman's Sleeping With Dandelions in London

Made me think, Lani - does Mike have a problem in the Midwest with allergies? like with deciduous trees, grasses, weeds etc.? or is it just the Junipers in your area?

Continuing to prepare for 4 days of rain in a row..we lost our drought category a while back and don't see it returning anytime soon LOL, even with very little snow.

Fertilized, grass seeded, gardened etc. all day yesterday, now am mostly ready. Taking Ollie out for his last walk for a few pretty soon.

Been consoling Dennis and Vi as well daily. They still don't have their land line..for being 87 and not in good health I hope that changes soon.

A portrait of Nancy and Beau's two eaglets. ♥️♥️ We have waited a long time to see them pop their heads up!

Baz - I know. But this one appears to have been a cover for a business....and we don't know how this couple paid cash for it...we've looked at the hennepin county records for who owns it. And know who. 7 or more people lived there or came and went. And  maybe nobody lived there permanently.

Appears to be a potential location for multiple labor workers..and then for Grandma.

That is not the point, however, other than no insurance means no recovery.

The point is why did the gas cause a house implosion? And then what wlll happen to our neighborhood?

KB, I wasn't speaking specifically to your previous posts about that house. Other people posted here about understanding that homes require insurance coverage, and I was responding purely about some instances when home insurance isn't required with a home sale. I was not talking anything in particular about your nearby exploded house neighbors, or why or how they paid cash, or why or how they use their home. I only was mentioning instances where insurance is not required with a home sale. Have a good day.

Good Afternoon Beakers

I am late today, cause I was visiting with Sydney.  Bradley was off today, and Kelly was out running errands, so Bradley and I went to lunch with Sydney.  Here is a couple pics.

((Lisa)):-* :-* :-* OMG! Sydney looks so precious, and like she's happy and having a great time dining out with her Dad and Grandma!!  :D :D :-* :-* :-*

No problem, I guessed as much.

What I just shook my head at was why someone? would pay cash for a house and not Immediately protect it with home insurance....I still can't fathom that one. I know they weren't required to.

Occasionally I have heard in the past of people mistakenly not being able to afford it and end with dire consequences across the country

Just blows my mind not to protect an investment like that.

Clynn, (((Iris)))  :-*  Oh I hope it will be "love" with her new fish-delivering suitor!!   :-* :-* :-*  Oh boy! The Munchkins will be there Friday! Will they stay overnight with you? I know they are going to have lots of fun there! LOL on the cat getting stuck at the top of the screen... makes me think of that old saying, "Have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree?"  ;) ;) ;D  But I understand how "sticky" their nails can get in screens, especially kittens' nails... can't help but wonder how long they would hang up their and meow for rescue till they figured out how to either turn around or back down. Glad Ed was there for the rescue!  :D :-* I agree it's foolish not to have home insurance. Prayers for Jennifer's friend in Germany. That's so nice of her to travel and stay there to help and support him.

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Clynn- I enjoyed so very much the story and photos you posted of Knitter Margaret Seaman!!!! She is a very Amazing lady!!!!  Thank you  :)       Wow-largest hole in the world is so Amazing too!!  I watched part of it, but I will want to go back and watch again.  That fellow sure does a great job of narrating his story!
That will be a fun evening tomorrow (Fri.) when you have Talon & Bella over for a while!! ;D  Nice that Erin & Sydney can go out with their friends for an evening!
Beautiful photo of Amelia Island in FL  :)

Karen- That would be Wonderful if the folks at the Royal Palace would buy those special knitted pieces!

Tig- Thank you for explaining more about the strict policies some of those places have.  Glad you didn't have to pay out more than what you did!

Lani- Glad Mike got his shot already!  My mom recently saw a new dermatologist and it took 4 months to get in to that Doctor!  You have to wait for 6 months-that's a long time! :o

Phyl- Like the gum machine!! :)     I had no idea what a spruce grouse was!  Thank you for 365 - beautiful bird!!

Tsk- That's right! :) Maybe one day we'll make it to the Zoo!

LisaG- Sweet picture of Sydney in her car seat with her pacifier!

Kb- You are a good neighbor to Dennis & Vi  :)   Have a nice walk with your Ollie Man  :)

Hi Puff, Og, Lori, Bl, Baz  :)

Beakers have a great rest of the day / evening  :)

We'll be out at the ballpark for our Grandson's game later on.  Game starts at 5 and ends around 7:15 - we should be home at 8. :)  It will be fun - we really enjoy being there!  This time tho, wearing a few layers under my jacket and maybe take a lap blanket! ;)
