This along with BL's earlier post confirms we shall live to be 100~

This mandarin duck in the UK...we have these too.
course they are not native here or UK....but are now well established.

Getting "nellie" detailed at noonish....meanwhile, I'll try to check off my list:
mow, water new sod, move mulch, and clean deck.

Doubt I'll get to that all and move some to tomorrow's calender. LOL

Much later Beakers

Good Morning Beakers....Happy Sunday!!

tig - We are a lil cooler here this morning, probably not as cool as you all tho. Boo, on the pics and error code.

Phyl - Yay, on your new dishwasher arriving Wednesday.  Aww, sweet Maggie.  I bet your salsa was delicious.

paulie - Glad to hear Charlie is feeling good.

karen - Happy to hear that Mickey has been a huge help for you, and that you have been busy.

Lani - Beautiful good night kitty!

tsk - Pretty morning greeting.  Glad to hear that Tim is feeling better.   :)

clynn - Yes, so glad the winds on the cams are much calmer.  My ears are thankful, as I am one that likes to listen to the cams with my speakers turned up loud.  Jeff says, you are going to go deaf listening to that!  ;D  Pretty pink flowers this morning.

Puff - Glad you got some help with things you needed taken care of.

kb - Pretty duck

Well, I am jealous of all of you and your dishwashers.  ;D  This house was built in 1972, no dishwasher in the kitchen.  Jeff bought it in 1994, and never had one put in.  I have been handwashing dishes for 27yrs.

Lisa Same on hand washing dishes or now 25 years...removed the smaller one as plastic covering parts kept melting on us.

Don't regret it one bit myself. Dishwashers "can be" a pain in the neck.

I grew up with one eventually...

Ran out of gas in mower, so have to get some. Not picking up the helicopter completely either...never had them this thick before so...will have to see. Everyone in town is seeing lots more tree seeds.

Later

Turns out according to AI grass is too damp to pick them all up with bagger. Next time I guess..

CLYNN  Look at all those pink tulips!!  I do believe we had a Herb Albert 33 1/3 record album  LOL   I have a fern bed that lines the back of the house.  He has to step into it to refasten his thermometer to the bedroom window.  When he backed up to get out, his foot caught on the edge of the sidewalk.  I knew I should have been with him. He's OK tho.  What he did do tho, is lean up against the brick wall with his forearm while filling his bucket with seed to fill the feeders - Just resting his forearm on the brink caused bleeding which he didn't realize til his jeans showed the blood dripping.  SIGH.  He bleeds at the blink of an eye.  I have thought about bubble wrapping his arms like a long sleeve  LOL

PUFF   We are in for a gully washer on Tues they say - Up to 2"  We could use it.  I'll believe it when I see it.  Winds definitely better today.   Oh I'm so glad you found bird babies and that you finally got someone to securely reattach the nest.  So lucky  Sounds like some worhtwhile projects finally got done.  Was your window washer just someone coming by looking for work?

TIG   LOLOLOL!!!!  What a comedian that Camper  ::) ::)

KB   LOLOL  Nice when retired - we can move tasks to the next available slot  ;) ;) ;)

KAREN    Hope you two are having some fun too.  Give us a summary when she leaves  ;) ;)

LISA   I was never raised with a dishwasher and our first home did not have a dishwasher.  Not until 1998 ( Married in '80)in our second home - a spec house new build, did we have a dishwasher.   I still hand wash in our third home - it's only the two of us.  I don't do too much from scratch any more.  Altho today I made some chili, some jello, pudding, egg salad and will order pizza for dinner LOLOL   Will probably fill the dish washer in a couple days.

LANI   As Pope Leo's official personal attendant, Bishop Nirvana expresses complete comfort and bliss in his new assignment.
Enjoy the shopping.

Tsk - Ohh, you have been busy in the kitchen today, so yes, use that dishwasher. 😂. I grew up with having a dishwasher.  I remember my grandma had one at her house that you hooked the hoses up to the kitchen sink.

Lani - Hope you had a great day in the valley shopping.

Kb - Sorry about you running out of gas in the mower.

tsk  First used my guys about 3 or 4 years back.  M & A Window Washing  I've also had them power wash and gutter cleanout.

Martin and Andrew both maybe about 30.  They had just come to US from eastern Europe, I think Yugoslavia.  Said yesterday they now have a Paul started with them this year.  First year worked out of small older car - now have vans with multi ladders and equipment.  Prices reasonable, work quick and good.
Oh, just remembered too, when Martin showed up to handle my job he said sorry he slow getting to me, but he had just finished a client in Algonquin.  Does have a big working territory.

So excited!....Nellie looks fabulous inside and out. Like new.

took one terrible picture....more tomorrow....

I'm just too bushed and sore to do more.

Drove her into the garage for now.

She has no rust inside or out....and she's 25 yrs. old....drives nicely too. My detailer who took her, said "she has a lot of power"

I drove a newer Jeep the other day, just for s and giggles per Chris....A V6.....nothing like mine at all except for the inside computer stuff.

He's now happy to keep her.....looking into installing stuff he wants again.

Later will post pics of her insides and better pics. ....

Phyl, sweet photo of Miss Maggie  :-* ... glad you were able to get a new dishwasher... Aly safely arrived home.  :) ... I remember making ribbon flowers in the 70's.... peaceful nature video.

Paulie, Glad to hear Charlie is feeling better.... thanks for letting me know Jicaji is well and busy. I wonder if turkeys like to eat flowers and roses. I hope not.

Puff, glad you were able to get help.

Oldguy, Love seeing Herb Albert and hearing his music again!  ;D

Karen Glad you're enjoying your visit with Mickey.

Clynn, I'm having to resize my pinterests pics too. I never had to do that before... terrible dust storm in Chicago... I hope your Hostas perk up.... I see only two Peregrine chicks have survived.

Kb, I'm sure I'll have a few garden supplies left too. LOL! Pretty Mandarin Duck... Nellie looks great! Glad all is well.

Tig sorry you're having problems posting pics too.

Lisa, I only use the dishwasher twice a month, especially if cooking chicken... I hand wash dishes a majority of the time. I used it a lot more when the girls were home... snow birds are starting to leave for their summer homes in the north, but more full timers moving in from CA, shops are still busy...

Tsk, Bishop Nirvana  ;D  ... Tim needs BL's bubble body wrapper.  :( ... glad to get the shopping done, though Trader Joe was out of a few things.

Good night!

42 degrees  BRRR.  Furnace running to take the chill off.  We have had only 1/4" of rain all month and it is our rainiest month!  We are down over 4" for the year so far.  Hopefully will get that all day rain tomorrow.

PUFF  Nice to have people you can rely on every year.

KB   Nellie does look like brand new!!

LANI    Awww  What a sweet pair cozying up for a nap  :)
