tsk - I had the brisket sandwich....and they are huge! It's the one right below the turkey one which ssrl had and mine is the last sandwich in the sandwich menu part.

Wellie.....I ran out and tarped my soil and laid posts for fencing around it so it won't blow away.

Our weather predictors are all over the map....yes starting here at 7am....sis says they keep changing the forecast start time.

I texted Andrew in case that's all he was going to fit in tomorrow was tarping the soil...yes, he's over committed.
Hasn't yet put the gate in....or mulch, or rock, or sod, and on and on..

I'll be happy with the soil down and gate finished!....

Well, the guy doing the bathrooms left about an hour ago, Ed and Kelsey left to visit their friend on the East Side, so I finally got to make a Goodwill run! I only go on Wednesdays, because they are usually gone until 7:30 or 8:00, and they haven't gone for 3 weeks!  So I had a load! Kelsey's bathroom is done, he will come back and do ours tomorrow! Yay!

kb, that looks like a very nice place to have your birthday lunch!

tsk, A Mad City sales rep came by about a month ago, I am sure they got my info from some searches I did on the web!  Anyway, I liked their materials and guarantee, it stays with the house forever, even if we sell the house. Most don't do that. And they had good reviews and AAA+++ at the BBB!  Poor Tim, at least it wasn't obvious when he had the procedure, or they probably wouldn't have done it? I hope he gets over it fast...

baz, HALLELUJAH! The migraine has left the building! And, of course, you are HONGRY again!  ::) ::) So glad you are feeling better! I'll have some of kb''''s strawberry shortcake! Mom said she would make my birthday cake for me when Kelsey and I go in July. White buttermilk cake (from scratch), four layers with whipped cream and strawberries between...I can taste it now!!

Lani, oh that sweet little Potoo, love the wing flapping! And Aly leaves tomorrow, like tsk, it seems like she arrived there yesterday! I wish her and Dewey a safe and uneventful trip. I saw this video of the Big Bear kids on FB, it is really good! Poop shoot, wingersizing and picking at feathers. Reminds me of some of the hilarious scenes we have had at Decorah in the past...   https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1167264438420497&rdid=z7eynmSOrxORk3aD

Phyl, pretty flowers this morning and a good 365! Hope all of you are doing well! Any bluebird sightings?

The injection process for my knees was smooth  ...however, not painless. Tremendous pressure as the  joint filled with Euflexxa each knee, to my guess, should be have  2/3 full. Next Tuesday  5-20 will be my last appointment. Them we shall see.  I hope to be able to go for evening walks again and/or use my exercise bike.
Last week Jim and I went to Home Depot and use a coupon for $10 off any purchase up to $200. I bought some fresh annuals and a couple of perianal for the ft. porch and deck. Oh a nd a pretty new handblown hummer feeder that's red so i can use the clear nectar ...keeping the little
avians healthier. Anyway, will gradually get those set out and hung. Nothingh fancie or elaborate. But pleasant. Can hardley wait for warmer weathere so I can sit out in AMs and drink lots of coffee.  ;D

Yes. We've had visuals on the Bluebirds. Mostly males. I've take a couple of snaps...just haven'
t had time to download and upload to Pinterest to post to my thread here in the RRP forum. But, I will.

CLynn your BRs look very nice.  :)  ; awesome photo of Independence Pass, Colorado

KB Andrew, over booked, definitely. The  Covdina looks like a nice place to eat.

Tsk  so thankful for Lysol spray or Citrace spray.

Bazi,    Well...HALLELUJAH! Migraine has ...' left the building!"

Lani  sending Aly and Dewey prayers for safe travels to their home. Agree, seems like she just to your house.

OG tls for the wildfire updates. I hope that area gets some rain...soon.

Wishing all my fellow Beakers a Good Evening and a Good Night...SEDs !

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, there you are! A beautiful sunflower morning! Birds have some really unique courtship rituals! I hope they show more in the 365! Can you take a pic of the Hummer feeder?  It got to 85 here yesterday, had to turn the A/C on, but now we will have another cool down. I see 2 days in next week's forecast where the high will be 61. There is even a 59 high after those 2 days! That was just Kelsey's bathroom, ours will be done today.

Lani, that Big Bear video reminded me so much of the antics of previous Decorah eaglets! Safe travels today for Aly and Dewey, I know you loved having them there and hate seeing them go... I got my flowers done (all except around the mailbox) Tuesday, finally took some pictures.

CLYNN   Beautiful job on Kelsey's bathroom..  How does it differ from the previous set up?  Funny about the Goodwill run.  Will Ed notice the difference?   Your Mom is a treasure still doing that big cake for you at 90!   Our local ABC network followed up again on Big Bear last night.  They have been following all along.   Hopefully it got more folks interested in eagle watching  :)  Beautiful gardens.  The hostas you have going down the middle - are those clippings from ones that you already have?  It is a very inviting entrance to your front door.   Love that hosta garden .  Nice variety  :)  Like that narrow fringed leaf on in the front.  I've not seen any like that.

PHYL    A sunflower morning .  Your knees are almost brand new.  Be sure and take a pic of the new hummer feeder.  Do you make your own nectar?

BL   And you all fit in one canoe fishing gear and all?  Good outcome tho in the rough weather.

LANI   Aly gone and Mike back home.   I remember my Mom telling me later in life that every time I left from visiting her, she cried   :-*  Am sure you will have plenty to do today to keep busy altho I'm sure she knocked off a few of the "to-do" things off your list.   ;D

LISA  Remembering the passing of your Mom today  :'(   Reflect on all the good memories.  ;)

Happy Thursday all

BL - thanks for the late night birthday wishes...hope you all got a good night's sleep.

Clynn - so many plantings. Did you do it alone?....I bet by now you know exactly how many flats you need to get in one trip.

A critically endangered finless porpoise.....only found in rivers and estuaries of China....like we all say: We learn something new everyday.

Andrew did send an employee over to lay out all that soil....Unfortunately, we got no rain here but sis who live north of me got a half inch in 30 minutes....she's expecting more this afternoon.

We need it so badly. Not expecting any now here.

Good Morning Beakers

baz - That strawberry shortcake for kb looks delicious! We did not have any flooding over this way.

kb - Menu looks yummy, and beautiful restaurant.  Hope you had a nice birthday lunch.

tsk - Oh wow, good thing he didn't mention it to them before his procedure.  I hope Tim is feeling a lil bit better today.  Have a good time with your brothers and SIL's today. Thank you for remembering, Mama  :-*

clynn - The bathroom looks great.  We have something here like Mad City, but its called Bath Fitters, I believe.  Beautiful photo from Independence Pass, Colorado.  Your flowers look great!  Love those plant stakes in your last pic this morning.

Phyl - Glad to hear the injection went smooth, but sorry that they hurt.  Pretty sunflowers this morning.

Lani - Safe travels for Aly and Dewey.

kb, tig, Puff, BL, oldguy and karen
