KAREN    Hope the sprinkler system got its needed attention today.  When our guy comes all heads are checked and replaced if necessary along with readjustments to height of spray and arc of motion.  Your guy may have just missed one.   Oh I'm laughing at your description of this creature on the door.  I'd get a motel room  LOLOL  Sure hopes it makes an appearance - Another good reason for getting a cat.  Mickey comes this week - a helper!

CLYNN   What a funny story about the Baltimore oriole and your teacher.  Big guy to apologize and who said kids can't teach adults things!!  Didn't know you were unhappy with your new enclosed deck....Some major upgrades to your home this year.  Ya, we pace ourselves too.   What a cute pic from the Norwich nest.  ;D

LANI   What a nice prayer offered this AM.  :)  Good catch on SST realizing wings  ;D  Great colors on their nesting grounds   Is your family "close enough" to Kilauea that they would have to move?  Looks so desolate near there.  Scary.  :o

TIG    It's the eagle that needs the special permit to keep the walleye not the guy whose car windshield was damaged    Put out an APB on that eagle!    LOLOLOLOL  Good luck with your knee injection - Lots of knee action going on lately

((((BAZI))))    Certainly sympathize with you.  Years ago I used to vomit when I had a bad headache.   Take care.

PHYL   Good luck with #2 injection.  :)

We got home at 3:30.  Procedure itself - was 90 min.  Then 1 hour in "recovery" area then back to the original admitting room for a 4 hour stay on his back while a plug is in place and pressure on catheter insertion site in the groin.  That ended up being 5 hours.  I was not with him at all during this whole time.  Not allowed in this new day surgical center in our hospital.  Doc reported " It went very well".  Has to lay low for a couple days - Mostly cuz of the incision site.  Guess I will mow the lawn 1 more time which is fine with me.  ;D   Thank you again for all your prayers.  We are both glad this can be checked off the list!

((baz)) - I hope your meds work, and you get some relief from the headache.

Clynn, I I’ve heard of that stinky flower before they are unremarkable working and I don’t think I’d stand in line to see it or smell it buy it’s interesting that people continue to grow that just because They can!
But I’m glad your water situation is straightened out I had my system checked, and they had to come twice
Get it going correctly I could not water the entire estate by hand I suppose I could but I’m not going to!

My mind just kicked into second gear and I remember I lived on Hudson. I wonder what it looks like now! I enjoyed living there fun people nice neighborhood kind of interesting.
Lisa, I have been to outback and I have never in my life had a blooming onion!  Lol oh lol

NO WAY KAREN!!!!!!  I lived at 1502 North Hudson, corner of Hudson and Blackhawk, across the street from Chicago Police Station , Manierre Elementary just the other side of Blackhawk.  About 1952 to 1956????

P

KarenG  I never got any reaction to this msg I sent on Sunday.  I wonder if you ever read it?

Puff I thought I answered you sorry it’s amazing. Isn’t it a few years apart however, I don’t remember what number I was at North Hudson but I do know it was north Hudson and it was in the middle of the block on the east side of the black looking west lol I like that neighborhood.

Lisa Mickey comes tomorrow I discovered the creature is a great big water roach. God I hate those things it came out from under the dresser and was on the wall in the bedroom and I went to knock it down with my old taxes and that thing fell on the floor and I stepped on it in there and if it didn’t live to get out from under my shoe and go back under the dresser, I don’t know what I’m gonna do with the thing I assign Mickey the problem let’s see.

Tsk great news about Tim.  I’m sure that he hast to take it easy to let all that blood clot up and not burst through those incision points when I have the stents put in they made me do nothing for a few days and had a and the issue was he incision in the groin. I wish I could cut grass or that I had much to cut lol OL. Some of the seeds I planted are coming up but I’m going to have to get more and spread it around cheaper than buying a bunch of side and haven’t laid. I might start planting seed all over the place because it seems to work pretty well if you do it when it’s raining out arenas now born born a while, and I hope the sprinkler system gets fixed soon they usually fix mine, the same as you described, but somehow something screwed up with this particular. Head and it made a terrible noise in addition to not putting the water on properly anyway, these young dudes that they have doing most of the work are not as conscientious as the owner of the company has been so I’ll be glad to see him if he has, who they send. They put the system in when the house was built so the owner of the company is very familiar with it.

The injections I had in my arms the other day, for my back are working a little bit. At least I have far less problems than I was having but to say that everything is back to what it was when I was 16 is not so..

Hopefully everyone will be in great shape in the morning and ready to enjoy the day

(((TSK, thinking of Tim and you))), and hope all has gone well so far today.

Waving to All the Beakers.
  :)

Keeping this short... really bad headache, Day 3. Heading for the anti-nausea Rx now... finally got too tired of that symptom, so I'm going to take some of the med that was prescribed for me many years ago. It has always worked pretty well, so fingers crossed it will again - it's just that it's an old Rx, so we'll see if it still has its oomph, or if it has succumbed to "shelf life."  ;)

Good night, All. Peace. SED.

Baz, I'm sorry you have a terrible headache. I use have migraines that would cause me to be sick to my stomach, and needed to be in the dark. I hope your old RX helps. Take care  :-*

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, love seeing those big wings spread out on the Alby youngsters! They are just so majestic! Thank you for keeping us updated! Have you and Aly got plans for the day? I got most of my flowers planted yesterday, today I have to get both upstairs bathrooms ready for Mad City. They are coming tomorrow morning to update both, so I have to get everything out. Good chance to clean and maybe purge some! They expect it to take 2.5 days.

karen, glad to hear that the injections are helping! Hope it keeps up! I had to laugh at the picture of you attacking the water roach with your old tax returns! Speaking of tax returns, Mom still has every tax return her and Dad filed since they were married in 1951. She won't get rid of them! Mickey arrives today!  I bet you have that Honey-Do list ready!

tsk, so glad to hear Tim's procedure went well! And he will be back to normal after a couple of days of rest! Oh, there are just a few things I am not happy with concerning the deck, but I don't like to complain too much. The guy sure needs to add a T-square to his tool belt. Both doors are crooked, they work fine but my eye goes to the crookedness! And we did have to spend $3000 to another contractor to fix the roof (it wasn't slanted down). The cats LOVE it though! and I love it except for those little issues...

Phyl, tig, good luck with your knee injections today! I hope both of you get the relief you need!

Phyl, love the good night picture! Pats to Ms Maggie, prayers for all of you...

Lisa, look at these beautiful Vinca's I found! I have never seen this pretty variety!

Big Bear - Braving the windy conditions, Sunny and Gizmo continued with their wingers, building muscle strength for their first flight but stayed hunkered down during the windiest parts of the day. The kids seemed confused with the bird prey Jackie brought until she saved the day, defeathering it, then both ate well. 😋 https://youtu.be/IapfAhFubvQ

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

KAREN   Old age really sneaks up on us.   Tim is always saying " how did it happen I can't do those things anymore"  One of his favorite things is to talk about his past and all the things he used to do.  He never developed any hobbies tho and that does not help now that he is older.  Hope you and Mickey can also find some fun things to do  ;D

CLYNN  You are kidding about all the tax returns from 1951!  You will need a truck to haul all that away for shredding one day.  I finally got Tim to let me shred leaving only the past 5 years.  Takes a long time.    And you don't find those construction issues until it is too late.  I have an eye for crookedness too.. LOL   Vincas are so hearty - Good color  :)

So I'm opening the shades to the back yard and guess who I see ambling out of by back garden - Pepe la Pew!  by the time I ran to get my phone and turn it on - it was gone!

Good Morning Beakers

karen - Oh no, I don't know what is worse a roach or spider!  They both give me the creeps.  ;D Enjoy your time with Mickey.  Glad to hear that the injections in arms are working for your back some.

Lani - Sweet good night pic.  Are you all rested up from your convention?

clynn - That is a pretty color on the Vinca's.  The pots I bought have a mixture of colors...white, pink, purple, and red. I might have to add a lil more soil to the pots, as it seems a lil low.

tsk - Pretty purple roses!  Oh no, you have a Pepe' too hanging around...LOL

Phyl - Good luck today, and very pretty pink roses.  Thanks for the 365.

Still decompressing after a terrible day yesterday.

Chris took the Jeep out knowing it had recently stalled on Saturday at low RPM's.....coming home he got stuck in the middle of the busiest intersection in Richfield at rush hour....
And, it was about 90 degrees, at this point he's only 2 blocks from home.
She wouldn't even go into park and turn on, nor could the keys be taken out of the ignition....so very scary for him.

A life lesson I guess. He survived without getting rear ended nor hit in the crosswalks.
I called the tow truck and sent Nellie right back to the dealer.
They were expecting me to drive her there yesterday or today and hope for a cancellation before May 27.her next appt.

Now she's even worse so hopefully they take a look sooner than later. Don't know where the tow could have dropped her without being able to take the key out.

They will call today.....I gotta find out if the have a loaner program for non warrantied customers..otherwise??

Later....trying to figure out my life without a vehicle.

tsk - so glad to hear Tim got his procedure done and is home now...
Stay healthy all!

BTW about 4-5 peeps stopped to ask Chris if he needed help....and a few others honked and got frustrated.
