Ok - on the photo marked as Hwy 34 through Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.
There is a river on the West center side of the park called Fall River - this is a long meandering river between the mountains of Big Horn and Deer.   That photo could be of that river as seen from Hwy 34 in multiply places along that road.  But yes, the photo is of a river, not the road.
Google Lens did not find a perfect match to that photo, but did find 3 other rivers in the world that looked about the same. ::)

Good catch OG, You are right it very well could be the Fall River and Trail Ridge Road/ 34 does cross it.

(C) on the map, (B) is the Fall River.

You might actually have a real image of Fall River taken near US 34 after all Clynn.    :)

BL - spent 3 days in that park in Aug of 1975 - last night was at Timber campground (car/tent camping)- about 10000 ft. elevation.  Woke up to 3 inches of snow. :o  I remembered seeing a valley that looked similar to the photo.  I may even have a slide in my collection to match it. ;)

KB   Bummer on Nellie... :P :P

CLYNN   Now when you read Amazon reviews there is an AI summary of all replies.  It also will give some negative things said as well.  Have you noticed that yet?     LOLOL  What a way to remember Chicago  LOLOL    I think it was last year that the Botanic garden's corpse plant bloomed.  Gag city.

PUFF  You always look at the humorous side of things which I enjoy.  Problem solved and make a note of it and file it where you will remember it is so you will know for next year if it should happen again.  LOLOLOL

BAZI  Was that link meant to be the kitties riding the gator  ;D

TIG  You forgot your bubble wrap again!!!  Keep some in the trunk  ::)

Heard that Tennessee had an earthquake today felt in the Carolinas and Georgia!

It's been a long day. I hope everyone had a great Caturday.  Mike is here with me, he worked on his laptop while I've been attending the convention. We'll return home mid day tomorrow, Aly is taking care of the cats and dog. I've written about Aly not being able to receive a license as a therapist until she works for a non profit for a year or so... she starts next Monday.... She's transferred her clients, closed her office and spent time learning what will be required of her for the next year.

Good night!

TSK, yes. It was meant to be a humorous composite meme for recognizing Caturday, in combo with my "Later, Gators," along with my mention of my pond's Swampy the Gator apparently recently absconding.  ;)  I guess my intention wasn't clear.  ;)

Lani, I remember you saying Aly would be working for a non-profit for a year to meet the requirements, but I had assumed she had to do that in the state she had been working in, and didn't know she could satisfy that while in AZ. I'm glad she has found a way to work things out, though I know it must be a strain on her to make all those unexpected changes. I know she will make the best of it. I hope the convention went well, and smooth travels back home for you and Mike.  :-*

Goodnight, All. It has been a taxing time for many. Take care. Peace. SED.

"My Heart"

Sharlynn N. Manning

She's always been there for me.
Just talking to her can make me happy.
She tells me of the hard times she's been through
In hopes that I won't go through them, too.

She's an independent woman of stature and grace.
She has beautiful eyes and a lovely face,
An audacious strength from deep inside.
In her I know I can confide.

She's my guardian angel who'll always be
A very special part of me.
She takes pride in caring for her kin.
She gives us hope and things to believe in.

If I didn't have her there for me,
I wouldn't be half the woman I turned out to be.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, beautiful Mother's Day poem...

baz, great good night words.... The kitty riding the gator was funny, made me chuckle! Cats don't have a care, just pause and take a bath on top of the gator! I wonder where Swampy took off to? Chasing a female maybe? I haven't seen the Bloomin' Petals at Outback, but I did fine a copycat recipe for them:  https://summeryule.com/outback-bloom-petals/

Lani, I bet yesterday wore you out, for sure! Hope all went well and you and Mike have a safe trip home! Aly and the Furkids will be so glad to see you!

kb, cute video of the big dogs and the tiny puppy! We had a Doberman named Napoleon long ago, and friends had a Teacup Poodle named Reggie. That tiny poodle would get up on the couch and yap right in the big dog's face. No fear!

tsk, haven't noticed that in the Amazon reviews yet, I will look for it next time!  I do like when Amazon tells you if a certain article you are looking at has a high volume of returns. Makes me skip right over it!

BL, oldguy, thanks for the information on the Fall River and Trail Ridge, it sounds like a beautiful area! There are so many absolutely beautiful places in the US!

tig, !!!!

Lisa, glad you were able to find your plants! I had Ed dump 4 bags of topsoil on my front flower bed, this morning I will get it planted! Then just a few more plants in the small bed and I will be done!

karen, no water situation here! Ed is gathering plants for him and Bella to plant when they are here next, she loves to go water plants with Papa! We had dinner at Cracker Barrel for Mother's Day and back here for strawberries and ice cream, good times!

Good Morning Beakers

Happy Mother's Day to all who are Mother's to human or furry kids!  I hope you all have a very relaxing day.

karen - I need to take you to Outback, so we can share a blooming onion.  :)

baz - Thanks for all the comments.   :)  Aww, sorry to hear about Swampy.

tig - Sorry about your wrist, and having to cancel your fishing trip.

tsk - Someone mentioned that to me yesterday, too.  One of my friends that lives near Chattanooga said, she didn't feel it, but her neighbor did.

Lani - I do remember you writing about Aly not being able to receive a license as a therapist until she works for a non profit for a year or so, just didn't remember you saying she had found a new job.  Not that you have to...lol  Hope you and Mike are back home and relaxing from the convention.

Phyl - Lovely poem for Mother's Day

clynn - Love the flowers in the jar!  You have been busy in your flower beds.

kb, Puff, oldguy, BL and all - Morning  :)
