K9 training to protect little girl......good boy!

Happy Bird Day, Clynn.

Off to shampoo my carpets...Sun shining is good for this today.

Puff - I still have very little leaf opening on my Crimson King.....I heard through the grapevine most maples in my town are very slow this year.
Lots of peeps lost perennials this year. Their conclusion? ....little snow cover this last winter and very very cold.

Later

Good Morning,

Tig, Beautiful tulips in your front porch flower boxes.

BL, Thank you for posting so much storm info. Wow to the radar!! Makes sense now about Derecho and how the locals there described it to us.
I drive 22/322 and Route 80 and it was definitely still windy driving there especially along 80.
Thanks also for the freezing water and quarter info. I'll definitely do that.
Awww to cabin photos. I don't mind. That was nice of you. The guys that cleared and leveled the land definitely knew what they were doing. There is one tall tree though that concerns us in high winds that's on the one side of the cabin. It's closer that it looks in photo.

tsk, Where is Door country? Do you have a cabin or getaway there? Sounds like you had a mess to clean up!

Lani, Mike enjoyed himself on the porch in Kansas!! Where in Kansas did you live?

clynn, Happy Birthday to you!! Enjoy flower shopping! Enjoy your special day!
It's a 2 1/2 hour drive to cabin.

karen, I hope you get your fence replaced soon.

Wishing everyone a good day.

Good morning Beakers!
Good morning Tsk, Karen, Clynn, Lisa, Paulie, Eagles4, Baz, Phyl, Lori, Kb, Tig, Oldguy, Puff, BL, Ezee, Eburg, Weasel, Jilltosa, Eaglesrock, Emyrauld, Blschue, Peep, Jaspurr, Lindy, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Nrstooge, jicaji, LB, and All!

{{{Tsk}}} Sending prayers all goes well at drs.  :-*

Clynn, beautiful morning posts.  :-* ... I don't think Louis will return, what a scare for him. I hope he's okay, he has Star and their chicks to take care of.... I'm sitting out this next year working for our state chapter, I'll continue to be busy here in Payson.... awww beautiful falcon white fluffballs.  :-* .. Enjoy your visit to the greenhouse and the rest of your birthday. I hope the kids are coming to see you.  :-* ... you close up of the male osprey (blood is from fish) he has yellow eyes. I think Finn's was green, not sure though. I'll have to check other photos. But this male osprey has been very determined the past week or more. I just want Iris to have a mate and not be alone. She's had 5 eggs in prior years. So maybe another egg is possible. I hope so.

Lori, beautiful birthday greetings and delicious strawberry cake for Clynn!  :-*

Tig, good luck at your dr's appt.

Kb, awww good boy  :-* ... our maple is finally showing it's beautiful spring leaves. A week ago I was worried it was dead or something.

{{{Karen and Piper}}} I hope your neighbors will put their fence back up. Is it a large area that needs to be covered? Can you place something on your side of the property? Maybe your landscapers might have a suggestion. Take care.  :-*

Paulie, Mike is 4th generation Kansan, from central Kansas, his great grandparents on both sides settled in Salina. Where we raised our girls.

Good Afternoon Beakers

I am late, as Misty had a vet appointment this mid-morning.

kb - LOL, those parrots.

tsk - Yea, HM & HD made a starter nest last season in that tree when their nest had failed.  When we went to ATF last summer, there were still some sticks in the tree, but not much.  These two, if it is a new female have done alot more than HM & HD did to that lil starter nest. Can't wait to see the lil nest this summer.  ((Tim))  Hope all went well with endoscopy!

Lani - Was the attack on Louis really by Finn?  I hope the info I gave Puff was correct.  I am just stating what I am seeing.  Wouldn't that be something if the female was a Decorah born eagle, but we will never know.

BL - Yummy!  I have some milk chocolate thin caramels topped with sea salt, so good!

clynn - Hope you got lots of pretty flowers at the greenhouse today.  Aww, the falcon hatchlings, so cute!  Love the flower boot/birdhouse decoration.

Lori - Ooo, that strawberry cake looks so good.

tig - Good luck with your doc appointments.

karen - Hope you and Piper relaxed since you were up early.

CLYNN  Love the Proust piece.  :-*  I'm not sure about Finn - the brown over the right eye doesn't look quite the same?? But it is an interested male so I say go for it Iris!

LORI  Couldn't wait to see what sweets you posted for our b-day party for CLYNN  ;D  As my grandfather used to say " Bea, give me a second piece of that cake.  Something was wrong with the first piece. LOLOL"

KB  A lot less crime if shepherds were stationed at every blockl!!

PAULIE   Door County is the "thumb" of Wisconsin.  We owned up there in Egg Harbor for 25 years and sold in 2020. We had a bluff second story condo overlooking Green Bay but then a single family condo opened up after about 10 years there and it was in the back of the community in the cherry orchards - very peaceful.  238 miles from us and for me 4 hr 10 min ride - for Tim over 5 hours  LOL  He drinks a lot of coffee.

LANI   Good to hear you are taking a break for a year.  Priorities. :-*  Love the Heaven quote.  ;D   Were those birds in that video?  EEK is right

Tsk, no, those are grasshoppers hitting the car.  :-X EEK!!!  ... yes, I'm praying new male osprey will bring Iris a fish. Because she can't stop yakking!

Lisa, Hellgate FB chatters are still debating if it was Finn that hit Louis, but, it definitely made it's point known. Louis has not returned today.

As the Nest turns!  Will Iris…..?

Fence.   I have a long backyard. It crosses,2 Homes backyard. Both fences were damaged in the past two storms but the panels of these fences are fine. It’s the posts that are rotted, and no longer holding the fences. There is one brace In my yard, holding up the fence panel, belonging to the neighbor, directly in back of me on the corner. She is the one who is finally going to fix her portion of the fence, and I am going to reimburse her for half of the cost of the fence that is on my property as well as Hers  In other words, I shared property line. There are four or five races, holding up the fence on the other end of my yard, that person I do not believe will ever fix the fence.. this house is owned by a woman whose husband was a retired Air Force person who has passed away, living with her now is her son, his wife, and two children. His son has taken over the business of running the house. They collected insurance money, two years ago to replace the fence but he spent it on other things that he felt were necessary. Actually I believe he was in debt and that’s why he moved back in with his mother so $18,000 went for who knows what we all know the insurance company is not going to Reimburse him for the same fence, twice.  He told me the fence would be replaced in either February or March. I have not heard anything more about this since he ranted and rave at me in January because I asked him about it and offered to pay for half of the part that was on my property at any rate I am not going to speak with him anymore and I am not going to replace the fence. If I did anything I would replace the posts and reattach the existing panels. The panels on both of these properties are OK. it’s only the posts that are rotted. They are probably rotted on the fence on my property. As well but Idodon’t want to think about this at this point.  My biggest concern about replacing fences is Piper she does that work well on a leash or at least not with me because I can’t walk and so we have a little long. I don’t want her running out and getting lost or worse yet getting hit by a car someplace so I have asked everybody that replaces the fence that board has me to try to get that thing done in one day and the fence people came to my door today to tell me they would be working on the fence Thursday and would have it finished by evening.. next week she is supposed to have pine trees removed some of hers very large ones are leaning very badly and are leaning toward my property. I have been quite nervous about those trees for sometime and she has not been responsive and doing anything about them so hopefully at the end of next week I will be through dealing with her as the trees will be gone, and the fence will be up. Then all I have to do is worry about the fool he spent the insurance money who lives next-door to her that kitty corner in back of me, I can live with us I guess. And I just wonder what this year storms will bring. M The braces for these fences by the way were put up my new neighbors directly across the street from me. Really very helpful. Nice people.. I am also contemplating my own yard and I need to replace trees and grass. I have planted seed but don’t see much coming up. The sprinkler system is acting up so there has been no water put on them for 24 hours which is not good I need to put in the trees and bushes and can’t make up my mind as to what I want and where I want it.    Oh, my in the world today to have such problems lol.
Tsk, How was the endoscopy? I didn’t see where you answered.
