KB - your mechanics have most likely covered the basics - fuel, air, spark - the infrequent causes for 1 of these 3 to not work can be any part that is connected to those 3 - that is a lot of items to check.  One of the hardest to locate is a damaged wire.  I watch a mechanic on YouTube that is the go to by dealers in his area to fix older cars that they could not repair.  He has 2-3 videos a month that dealing with engine issues that end up being a wire that is damaged between engine components and the CPU.  All the techs are using on-line troubleshooting guides that never have then check the wiring.  So verify if they have covered this possibility.

Side note - my son in law just had a problem 2 weeks ago on his Ford F150.  He drove it to work (3rd shift) and no problems.  Goes to leave in the morning and it won't start.  Had it towed to the dealers shop - 1 or more rodents had a feast on his wiring.  Almost every harness in the engine compartment was damaged beyond repair.  He traded it in...

thanks Oldguy. I'll mention that to them tomorrow....to check the wires. What they have checked: transmission, fuel, spark, not sure about air and more. The dang thing doesn't show an error code when they use their diagnostic equipment on it. So, they are left to check everything. Dang on the mouser for your son. Gee I've seen a mouse in my garage before. Since then I had a new garage door bottom thingy put on and none since, but still...that's just awful.

BL - He lives in the Iowa City area - not sure of the details on the ID of rodent, but Son in law told us that it was a chipmunk.  I have not heard of chipmunks causing this kind of damage before.

Lisa, thank you for posting Karen's article's on the Cougar cubs.

Kb, Tsk, Clynn, Baz I guess I'm unable to post reels from my niece-in-law's facebook. She uses Instagram too. Thanks for trying and your interest.
I won't post them again until I figure how to do it.  :)

Baz, I absolutely understand college rivalries. Yes, I love bears and I do love the color green... LOL! Houston is one of those I can't cheer for too.. I don't like the coach. I couldn't cheer for St. John because of the coach. LOL! The Colorado St - Maryland game was a great game! A last sec win for Maryland...

Clynn, Glad Erin was able to solve your computer problems... I have a pexiglass top over my keyboard to prevent Milo and Norman from stepping on my keyboard. So now, they just step on that instead of the keyboard.... that is a fascinating story about what's going on at the NEFL nest, sweet pic of Bodie and Stormy.

Karen, I don't blame you about not being able to cheer for Baylor... I couldn't do it, so I didn't watch the game. We had it on another channel. LOL! Sorry Baz.

Hi Puff

Phyl, I see karen answered your question.... have a good night.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, see if Lori can figure out something to post the videos! She is super clever at that sort of thing, she posted a text video for me a few years ago. I have thought of the plexiglass over the keyboard but my pc is in a computer cabinet, with a pull-out for my keyboard so there is no way I could fit one of those over it. I can push the shelf in when I am not using it, that would help! I also think it is a fascinating story at NEFL, I have never heard of anything similar! I am sure that dog in your picture is snoring!

Phyl, how are you and Jim doing?  I think about the two, well, really three of you often. Got to include Ms. Maggie! Pretty good night picture!  Pretty pink for Monday morning! I see 80 in our forecast for Friday!! The kestral is a pretty little raptor!

BL, Ed drives a 2015 Toyota Prius. For the last several years when he gets a certain distance from our house a little short tune plays. No matter what direction he is coming from, and it doesn't do it when he leaves. We are fairly close to the freeway, and it even does it when he goes by the subdivision on the freeway! Toyota has no idea what causes this! They have looked and looked!

tsk, yes, I know about those orange keys now and which one to push if this happens again! I would have had to haul the darn thing into the Geek Squad if I didn't have Erin!

Look at this nest on a cactus gigantes in the AZ desert! Looks like an osprey on the nest!

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Thanks. Hopefully you'll be able to get all your data transferred to you new PC soon .  And the adventure of getting
acquainted with a new desktop PC will begin.

Clynn- thank you for thinking of us---three.

Hi Lisa and Karen- I can hear our menagerie of birds calling and singing as I type.

Good morning very overcast here today with I think drizzly rain will clear up and go to 75 however, before the afternoon is finished Lani, thank you for posting about your great niece and her accomplishments in gymnastics. I was able to see the picture of the real in the big when you posted it and all of the little girls standing for I guess the award ceremony I happen to hate reels as they seem to go too fast and end up from something Like a gymnastics award ceremony to a recipe that’s only half there in a flash of a pay it anyway reels have seem to I’ve taken over in the posting world today. Congratulations to her for her accomplishments.
C,ynn, What would an osprey be doing in the desert? They are fish eaters and I didn’t see any water in that picture. Lol.  The picture of the kids in the NAFL nest, and I spent of nature
Paper set UGG another 12 hours of basketball. She’s hoping today is better viewing.
There were some great games yesterday Even though everyone’s favorites didn’t win, the Maryland game was exciting and I know those players were thrilled a true buzzer beater.  Oregon has lost to Arizona before so sometimes I know we’re not surprised with that outcome. It was an exciting game however sometimes like Illinois I came to the game a little bit too late to end up at the big dance but that team is very young and may have a chance next year.that ‘s  what they always say.
