KB   The way I identify a photo - someone taught me - is to right click on the photo and the menu come up - at the bottom is says google search.  Click on that and the answer comes up on the right side of the screen.

KAREN    Wisconsin just couldn't do it .

LANI    Which brings me to the question. Do children take hula lessons as part of a dance class or is it a separate thing ?

PHYL   Bright yellow morning   Think it will be a rainy day here today.  365  :)

PUFF   Are you sure about CWELLS ?  She's not on the member list.

TSK, I use Google Lens often to try to identify stuff in pics. And I did today with your "Common Blue Butterfly" photo posted this morning, to discover what it was.  It's antennae were so striking-looking that I had to look it up. Gorgeous!

Good Afternoon Beakers!

Well...there are three orange keys in the upper right keyboard. I never touch them because I have no idea what they are for. Erin found my issue very quickly! The first button is for WiFi, the other two are for Blue Tooth. Evidently Sam stepped on one of the Blue Tooth keys trying to get to the screen. My keyboard is set up with WiFi so it couldn't find any Blue Tooth to hook up to. I really don't understand, I thought WiFi and Blue tooth were kind of connected... ::) ::)

BL, I think cats scare a lot of other animals, especially big dogs!  https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=youtube+big+dogs+scared+of+cats&mid=9AD0B8D1F3BD0CCAF0C79AD0B8D1F3BD0CCAF0C7&FORM=VIRE

Lani, good dog, perfect for Sunday! I couldn't open the first two links, the third one was a different reel each time I tried, all different. Dang, I would love to see Oliva and her hula dancing!

karen, thanks for calling!

Lisa, how was your Birthday lunch? Pretty springy good morning! No news on Decorah yet, North Mom must be keeping those babies warm, it's chilly and rainy today!

tsk, what a beautiful butterfly you posted this morning! I see you check images like I do, Search the web for image.  It is almost impossible to tell if somethign is IA or not.

Phyl, pretty ducks in the 365, soon the trees will be green and pretty!

NEFL - Bodie and the adopted eaglet Stormy! Looks like Stormy has found a home...

A little late for Caturday, but this cat has got a serious chip on its shoulder and shows Bucky who's deck this really is.   ;D

BL, LOLOL! Cat was like, "Bring it on, B!" And that "B" did not stand for "Bear."  8)

HAPPY DAY, BEAKERS!  :)

Clynn, glad you're computer is all A-OK again! Yep, wifi and bluetooth are connected, but they're not the same thing. Your bluetooth devices (for instance, maybe your bluetooth earpods) connect via wifi to whatever device you want to listen to (like maybe your smartphone).

((Tig))

Lisa, hurry to your birthday lunch before Jeff changes his mind!! LOLOL! Just kidding... enjoy!!

Lani, same as some others here, I get the message "video is no longer available" when I tried your links. Wish we could see them.

KB, fingers crossed for your car.

Puff, I read your cwelles mention earlier the same way TSK did... thought you meant a thread in the Forum for Tremp. Thanks for clarifying.

TSK, I read the cwelles mention the same way you did.

Karen, good pic of that 2-fingered sloth. Thanks, Lani.

BL, thanks. My car is already sporting a nice coating of yellow powder... mostly pine pollen, but not only pine pollen.

OG, the garden center areas of the big box stores here have new stuff being put out every day, it seems. I'm so tempted by it all! I wish I had a real garden space.

Phyl, I'll take that leftover Chinese dinner!!  ;D

Fingers crossed for the 2 egglets/hatchlets!!  :-* :-*

:-* :-* for the juvie drop-in visitor at the NEFL nest getting to hang on the nest with the "hatched there" NEFL juvie!

Off to help cheer on Baylor to beat the Dookies!!  ;D

Waving to ALL the Beakers!

Bazand Lani!  I cannot think if anything that would  or coukd Entice me to cheer for Baylor. I sure hope they don’t win this game. Don’t ask but I haven’t had a friend in Waco who talk to me about that school and I just can’t do it. Lol.
Mickey took the picture of the sloth while she was in Panama using her phone pretty good shot so that is a picture of one in the Wilde. Thanks for posting LANY and Lisa thanks for posting the article on the cougar cubs in northern Michigan and Bill very funny house, cat chasing the Black Bear back to the games.

Forgot btw:
right clicking on a pic on a macbook doesn't give you an opportunity to find out about a picture. Maybe just microsoft?

Furthermore: google lens is an app......before you can use it. I'll have to ask Chris if it's worth it to download.

So: I may have to rely on all of you for picture identification, LOL

KB - Google Lens is built-in to the Chrome browser on my Windows computer - I am not sure if it is as well on your iPhone if you have Chrome browser installed.  Yes, the app is available for apple phones, but would work slightly different.

Clynn - a smart phone has 3 different wireless connections.  They all work together, but are separate systems.
WiFi - which is a peer to peer network connection, that allows you to connect to your router/internet and has a range of about 75 feet.
Bluetooth - this is a device to device connection, that allows you to connect earbuds, speakers, keyboards/mice, cars, etc. for data exchange - range is about 20 feet.  Laptops have bluetooth standard, but most desktops do not - so to connect wireless keyboards and mice a dongle has be inserted in to a USB port - the dongle has the bluetooth device in it.
Cell Phone - your connection between your phone and cell towers for phone service and internet connection.  range is about 5-10 miles
All 3 use a different radio freq. for the communications, allowing all 3 to be used at the same time.  Internet connection from your phone can be either WiFi or Cell service, depending on settings and strength of signal for either.  If you do not have cell service at a location, you can still access the internet if you can connect to a network by WiFi.  This is common in larger buildings, where the business supplies a Guest WiFi connection, because the cell service is weak.
SE Iowa - Grew up within 40 miles of Decorah

The videos are reels that I guess come from Instagram and posted on their facebook

Oh shoot! Does anyone here do Instagram? Or know how I can repost the reels?

Olivia won Best All Around in Hawaii State Gymnastic Championship.
I want to post the reel I just received.  :)

Another learning experience . . .

I've been on line with RRP since 2011 - You've never seen me posting in threads either.  I was just "hanging" in chat and watching nest sights.     ::)    No other time for more.  Just finished clearing (yesterday/today) a good number of the built-up emails I've been unable to get into.  Seems that in switching programs and opening my own agency, somehow the email was pushed into the corner at never-never space.  I'm not well versed on computerese and since we're so unable to "speak" to any human at Microsoft or GoDaddy duh.  You know, well some of you know, it's been a wall since February 2.  Fortunately, I turned to Ton's son-in-law and his company and connections (E2Services, Inc.).  He has the connections to handle the impossible for us novices.  When he found someone to talk to it got worked out.  So far too I've worked out the email # count.  Almost 2,000 emails now down to 350.  Whew!

Not really the same thing, but along the general line of what the heck electronic stuff.

Clynn we had a wireless doorbell at a place we rented once. For some reason no one ever installed a real one.  ???
Battery operated button mounted outside in a normal doorbell button location.
Inside chime also running on batteries.
Button push outside transmitted a signal to the chime inside, Ding Dong, it worked great.

About a year after we put it up it would go DING DONG almost everyday around 5-6 o'clock.
Some kids must be messing with us, so we set up a little "spy action".
Doorbell would ring when nobody even touched it nobody. What the ...
Replace all batteries. Nope still ringing around 5-6 pm.
Maybe the unit is just faulty and we were about ready to contact the company.

Then we noticed something, whenever the new neighbor across the street came home from work and opened his garage door via his remote in his car .. DING DONG .. AHA ! and EUREKA.   ;)

His garage opener was on the same frequency as the outside button transmitter.
Checked the doorbell user manual to see if we could "change the channel" on the button, nope not on this model.
So we sort of knew the new neighbor and asked him .. I know this is a weird question and request, but can you change the frequency/channel on your garage door opener?
Yeah actually I can, why? Our doorbell Yada yada yada .... he changed the channel on his button and inside opener in like a minute.

No more Ding Dong between 5 & 6. Modern technology keeps us sharp and on our toes.  ;D
We ran into him at the local watering whole a week later and bought him a beer.

Thanks, oldguy. that worked for me. I have firefox, safari, and chrome downloaded on my laptop. And, therefore my phone but I don't use that for reading/browsing.

My default (unconcious) use is with firefox. Now I know if I have a pic in question I can go to chrome and follow the steps you outlined. I just tried it and it works. thanks.

Also have left my Jeep at the mechanics for a week. I prepared. Still stalls at low RPM's. Twice on Tuesday while running errands. Too scary for me and I replaced the battery. Troubeshooting looks like they previously checked most items off the list. No error message, transmission fine, battery replaced, PCM main brain checked out fine.
Problem is they need it to stall for them to diagnose and they haven't been able to do that.
Down to 4 possibles for now: PCM, body computer, crank shaft, or a theft thingy on the ignition switch.

Poor Nellie, and me!...she only has 66,000 miles on her, looks new, runs fine but for this issue and is a V8
Looking at vehicles I see they don't make V8's anymore.....
WTH!

So KB what's this gremlin that's running around in your Jeep ?
What year and model is Nellie again ?

I understand your concern about it stalling at low RPM's, but they sure don't make them them like that anymore.

And you would be just about as happy with a newfangled SUV as you would be with an all electronic talking fridge with a see thru door that talks to your smart phone.  ::)
10 - 15 years life span if you're lucky.   ::) ::)

I sure hope they can troubleshoot her for you.
The old time mechanics start to look at it like a challenge, and I know you've been taking her to the same shop for a long time, so they might get a bee in their bonnet and get er' done.   ;D

Bazi- okay you can have leftovers  from Chinese dinner w/ pork fried rice. LOL
Awesome 'Mr. Sun' in shades

Lisa-how was the BD lunch?

Lani- nice  photo of Olivia and her competitors. Y'all must be so pleased and happy. Congratulations.

KB-nope Microsoft Win 10 doesn't  allow for that. One can copy the address and that can be pasted into the url window and search. I don't have Google Lens. :(

Lani/Lisa   where's article on cougar kittens?

CLynn- tks for sharing NEFL - Bodie and the adopted eaglet Stormy; that's a lot of Sandhills near Grand Forks ; I do agree on the AI photo issue

BL- Bucky has mucho 'cattitude' protecting the deck and all.

Puff- O-oh

Tig- cake will make any one feel  better.  ;)

I still can't find that article on the cougar cubs.  >:(
Other than that think I've caught up.  I hope.

Good Evening ...Good  Night,Beakers...SEDs all.

Yup I sure do want them to find the issue. She's a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a V8 and tow package. She's fast.
But I do a lot of city driving near me with lots of stop signs and light stops. And then those residential neighbor turns at low RPM's....

I might need to get her (she's within walking distance) and get some groceries and take Ollie man for toe nail clip and grin and bear it. I hate to keep planning my route to keep those rpm's up and potentially step on the gas and brake at the same time at stop signs. but, I'm wanting them to figure it out. I'd give her back after my trips mid week.

Problem is, is to reproduce the stall. They've been driving her around the neighborhood etc. They got it to stall with Chris' key but not mine yet. I'm secretly hoping the mechanic took her home with him and drove it around all weekend.

I'm even thinking of asking them if I stall nearby (say within a few blocks) I can call them and have them drive over. ?....trick is though, if I put her in park and turn the key, she usually starts right back up.

You are correct sir. I know I won't like the newer vehicles. Yuk.

Funny thing is I bought her in 2002, with 27,000 miles on her, new tires and brakes throughout the last 23 years, battery changes, and regular oil changes even less than 3,000 miles. About every other year. No problems except the air conditioner which they replaced. That's it. She's a 2000 yr. built. So, 25 years old but looks like new as she sits in a garage whenever not in use. No sun or snow on her. No rust.

After a new battery installed last fall, she has only stalled twice until last week, twice in one day...so 4 times in oh say 5 months or so. I know some young whipper snapper wouldn't buy a new one just for that, but I'm an old lady that worries about being rear ended or something worse.
