Bazi a very cool history of flying you have under your chin yoke.  8)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWoCLqMq8qM

The 'old timers' at small airports are a wealth of flying safely information for sure.   8)
That's why they're old timers.  ;)

Taking off from gravity is very exciting.
Flying is relatively easy.
Landing is the learned rub.   ;)

My nirvana is a P - 51 Mustang.

That's one Sexy plane.

You had to pilot those wings.

BL, Jim Backus is hilarious! Ah, the P-51.  Revered by most. Gotta love that engine!! I never got to fly one - I just got to sit in one. LOL! It was hangared at a nearby airport. I was told by other pilots who knew that P-51's owner that he must've liked me if he let me even just sit in his plane! Ha ha. They said he sometimes would have a major cow if someone even just touched it! Ha ha. He was kind of a curmudgeon. One of the older pilots I flew with often, in his Piper Cub, who used to have a glider pilot school, used to try to get me to go with him to the P-51 Mustang races every year in Reno. I've only watched them on TV. What a crazy race around those pylons! And so dangerous! I was actually afraid to go to it, and I also quit going to air shows. I couldn't handle the crashes... too much for me.

((Lani)), yep, next year! For both of us!!  :(  I am still watching some of the games. I pulled hard for McNeese today! I was so hoping they would go through! Loved the back story on their team mgr, and the fun socks their cheerleaders wore with his face on them. He went viral. LOL. The McNeese head coach seems like such a good guy, and he has accepted the head coaching job at NC State - one of the Tar Heels' big rivals, in Raleigh, NC, which is only a hop, skip, and a jump from UNC's Chapel Hill. And Duke's Durham campus is only 8 miles from Chapel Hill's campus. That makes for a lot of intense rivalry nearby between those 3 schools! LOL. So I will be seeing him in his new job next year. I will be pulling hard for Baylor tomorrow afternoon!! I've been wearing my "Beat Duke" button every day of the tourney!! LOL... it goes with everything!   ;D   I love that Carly Simon video, and that song. I always liked her so much. I think I saw her on TV when she sang that at Martha's Vineyard! I google it from time to time. Thanks!  :)

Good evening bakers!  Tsk, Boomer it is!  That is certainly not a hard thing to remember is it anyway I miss her posting and I know her daughter and grandchild miss her as well so many people have left us and others are I think still around, but not posting here now animal post quite frequently and some of the bird forms and I thought I saw HeLth earlier hosting someplace not long ago but maybe not. Thanks for keeping the record that your dad and Sharon get here
I stayed up through the end of the Illinois game and was happy to share the blue and orange on the line. I need a win and I’m not sure it’ll be this year but the team is very young and if they stay together there’s always next year if they say I have some other favorites did cheer for an as with everything they are not everybody’s favorite bands I still think Duke is a pretty good team. Also, I like Wisconsin Gonzaga, UCLA, Purdue, and there may be a few more stuck in there someplace at any rate may the best team win and it’s enjoyable, watching the kids play.
I saw the article today but couldn’t get the picture to post so I sent it to Lisa and if she’s still reading on here, she may post it for you, but it’s an article on some cougar kittens that were found by a driver in the Michigan upper peninsula the two little kittens were estimated to be 7 to 8 weeks old by biologist who looked at the pictures and consulted with each other. Usually these kittens stay with a mother for two years and it’s not know where she is and if she was in. The area when the picture was taken. This is the first sign of cougars. In this area and at least 100 years for years, they were hunted and the population decimated. Hope it’s a budget for these little kids to make it.
Good posts from all  Today what is the story of the visitor at the nest at Northeast Florida? How nice of them to express some southern hospitality and feed that little one it had to of come from a nearby nest someplace and perhaps fledged a little too soon but with only one baby to feed it’s not too bad to have a visitor to dinner. I still check in at SWFL. Every day and can report that both MNF are still bringing sticks to the nest and soft materials for baby still sit in it is very late now for them to lay another egg and I don’t think that’s going to happen this year. I believe the last time it happened. Laid the second clutch!
Going to check DeCora north and see what’s going on there before signing off to watch the Wisconsin game. I can’t understand why it’s taking so long for the hatches to occur. It’s been going on more than a couple of days now and I hope nothing is wrong.
I’ll have a good evening and see you tomorrow . SEDS

Oldguy, Loved the Irish Washerwoman and the Mat/Savanna/One Children choir... thanks for Caturday videos.  ;D

Lisa, I went through that a couple of times with posting...Glad you were able to use the back arrow.....Now, I'm copying what I've written before I click post.

{{{Baz}}} We were cheering for McNeese too... We knew Houston and Gonzaga was going to be a close one... we're going to have to swallow a lot of pride to cheer for Baylor, they're our biggest rival. But, I will for you.... What a win for BYU! ... Carly Simon's song I played last night is my favorite pick me up!  The song's meaning is special, No matter what life throws at you, you just pick yourself up and keep on keeping on.... The itsy bitsy spider was the first song I was taught when learning how to do the hula when I was 5  ;D

Karen, Nanimal posts in the Decorah North thread....

{{{ Phyl}}} good night Bob  :-*

Good night from Decorah North!
