About an inch of snow but is covering the sidewalks and trees - Terrible commute this AM.  NW Indiana had the worst of the weather.  Think there was a tornado.  High will be 42.

PUFF   I believe Alice is in the Arlington Heights area and DOES or did work at a rescue sanctuary.  I'd have to google what is out that way.

TIG    Long way out for that knee replacement.  Lots of time to build strength in your legs tho and that is good.

KAREN    That garden is real - Keukenhof   OOPS  I see reading on OLDGUY has more info.  You never fail to give me a morning chuckle  "  Marshall except with a  p"  LOLOL

LISA  Missed your post yesterday - Always wondered how crafters could work with that really think yarn.  Great pillow.  ;D

BL   On a float plane once going St Thomas to St Croix in the Virgin  Islands.  Pretty cool.

LANI   If I remember Peeps does wiring diagrams for cars or something like that.  Nice that you keep in touch.  Didn't realize Horst started the BEAK.    I think PINK joined the same time as LORI.  She was one busy gal.  Alaska on my bucket list as well - maybe by cruise....

CLYNN   Nice to see you wonderful spring morning post amidst our spring snowfall.  ::)   Ahh  You have the answer to planting those tulips - a machine does it.  Has to be.  Bobcat has tough paws. :o

Nice trip down memory Lane this morning!  I remember there were some industry issues for peeps and her job at one time that I thought was straightened out. I hope things are still going well for her would be nice to see her back in the back if she has time or the inclination I thought maybe Eagles would be back sometime soon but no such luck so tag when you mention message her give her wishes from. From me too, I think pink disappeared while I was at the home I miss her and her bike, riding stories and updates on her children and grandchildren. Think of her when there’s bad weather through that part of the state.(((Eagle Duck))).  He helped many on the forum with their avatars a nice man.

Spilled a bottle of slim fast in my lap this morning. Don’t ask pajamas washed in the dryer along with some other clothes and didn’t make much other damage. My mouth is fine except for a tooth next to the extraction which is loose and hurts. I suggested that they come out to, but the dentist wasn’t inclined to do that. It is just loose and kind of hurts in the area where it attaches. No biggie and I will. It will clear up I hope or I’ll go back and have it pulled out. It seems there is a solution to most problems in life and I wish they would include morels. Then they do solutions that is.
I still think the flowers in the Netherlands look fake when I expand the picture they look just like needlepoint nuts that someone has painstakingly done over a number of years. They don’t look at all like tulip flowers. Anyway, the colors are beautiful and everything is arranged perfectly.  Dutch settlers owned and operated large Garbage/Trash collection businesses in the Chicago area years ago. I don’t know what that has to do with tulips, but something that just popped in my mind.
Lisa, did The kitties give you a birthday greeting? They should shower you with diamonds
All have a good day Maybe BBL

You made me look things up tsk  Otherwise it would pop up in the middle of my sleep tonight.  Some others mentioned Alice Witt from the past also.

She lives in Palatine, does work at Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabitation in Barrington, IL.

I also got a reminder of our birthday -- OUR birthday is exactly the same date and year - different locations.   ???

Yes, that's a beluga whale..although i clearly see knees and hips!....LOL..it's just blubber.

Nephew made it home safely, thanks. He lives in the NW corner of Rochester. Works downtown. There was a steep gradient, cut off line between north and south metro Rochester. Between 2 NW and 8 SE.....so weird when that happens.

Am waiting for my plumber to bring a new Kolher toilet for my bathroom downstairs. It's really old...and though the inerds have been replaced multiple times the city informed me I have a leaky toiet. Our smart meters inform them of that kind of thing. It's taller and needs replacing so here we go. Looks like he might be late?

Also have left my Jeep at the mechanics for a week. I prepared. Still stalls at low RPM's. Twice on Tuesday while running errands. Too scary for me and I replaced the battery. Troubeshooting looks like they previously checked most items off the list. No error message, transmission fine, battery replaced, PCM main brain checked out fine.
Problem is they need it to stall for them to diagnose and they haven't been able to do that.
Down to 4 possibles for now: PCM, body computer, crank shaft, or a theft thingy on the ignition switch.

Poor Nellie, and me!...she only has 66,000 miles on her, looks new, runs fine but for this issue and is a V8
Looking at vehicles I see they don't make V8's anymore.....
WTH!

Hoping both issues are addressed today/tomorrow.

City finally fixed my street light that's been out for a month, so things looking up!....LOL

Good Morning Beakers...Happy Spring!

clynn - Love that pics of the tulips yesterday.  I have given Jeff a few places I would like to go on Saturday, I will let him choose.  Outback was one of them.   :D  Pretty Spring flowers this morning.

kb - Glad to hear that you missed out on the snowstorm yesterday.

BrokenLug - Ouch on the dry socket.  Painful, I hear!

baz - We did have a movie night for my birthday, at home.  One of our all time favorites, Trading Places with Dan Akyroyd and Eddie Murphy.

Puff - Glad to hear that you made it thru the weather.   :-*

tig - It is good to like your doctor.  I love all of mine, gives me comfort.

karen;D ;D your typing lady!

Lani - LOL, wasn't my choice to visit the tax office on my birthday.  My appointment was supposed to be last month, and my lady got sick.  They wanted to put me in with this other woman in the office, but Jeff only likes go to our lady.

Phyl - Thanks for the Shakespeare, and 365.  Pretty flowers this morning.

tsk - Love your pretty Spring greeting.  I was wondering if you got all that bad weather yesterday.  I am jealous of crafty people.  My have never been crafty.

Lori - Waving hi to you!

KAREN   Feel bad there is still discomfort in the area of the removed tooth  How is the bridge for fit?  Oh well  as long as your whole day doesn't go the way of the spilled Slim Fast   :-\

PUFF  You are exactly right - Flint Creek.  I always wanted to go out there - Maybe I will this Spring.

LORI  Like that tulip coffee cup  ;D  Beautiful indigo buntings

KB  I think it is AI.  Google search finds nothing.  Lots to deal with.  So many times you can't get the car to do at the dealer, what happens to you all the time.

LANI  Gorgeous Sauces scene  I did lose my AM post but think it was my fault.

LISA  Love the AM color combo.  Tim reruns that movie a lot as well  LOL   Sun has been shining all day so too bad those early AM commuters couldn't have gone in at noon  LOL  Sidewalks and streets now clear and almost all the grass.

tsk - it's not AI....in the comment section you can watch videos of beluga's swimming that look similar.

Down to: "talking" between the skim module( anti-theft device/module in ignition, body module, and main brain module PCM.....they will figure it out as refurbished older parts don't cost that much, but being puters and electrical can mess up the whole car they said if don't function well.

My problem will be finding old mechanics or ones who've worked on old cars (not easy), mine is retiring next year after 48 years, and finding old parts that are reliable and work.

My thoughts: if they fix it, a big if, and say in 3 months or so it has the same problem, I'll buy a new/newer vehicle for feeling safe.

Puff- tks for update on the original Beakers. So interesting to know where everyone is nowadays.  How nice you and Alice Witt share the same birthday.  :)

Karen- a jaunt down memory lane indeed.  Lucky your breakfast drink didn't stain any more than it did.   Extracted tooth's neighbor might
be feeling 'sympathy' pains---thinking the nerves are all connected. IMHO. Sure hope your dental issues all work out for you.  ;)
Ditto Lisa "your typing lady'. LOL

Lori- what a wonderful Springtime greeting for Beakers today. Love it! And the Blackberry Crumble is difficult to resist! Thank you for
the  dessert and thinking of us all.  Hope all's well with you , Destini and your family. Hope you have a lovely Spring this year.

KB- that beluga whale is amazing. Sure does look like a female human. Glad nephew arrived home safely.   Shucks on the bathroom probs. Hope it
works out for you.  Poor Nellie---V8.    I sure hope you can get what you need for Nellie.

Lisa-nice spring baby's breath and bulky knit comforter.  Sounds like a nice birthday celebration at home.  'Trading Places' is sooo funny.
Ditto 'typing lady' for Karen's  voice to text.

Lani- tks for update on Sauces pair  Jak and Audacity look fantastic.  Love those two.  :-* :-* :-*

karen - Oh no, sorry about the Slim Fast.  I did something similar last night trying to open a fruit cup of peaches, instead of eating them, I was wearing them.   ::)

kb - Yikes, you have alot on your plate with all the repairs and such. I see the same as you on the whale...knees and hips.

tsk - Thank you, I loved that color, too.  We are supposed to have a thunderstorm tonight.

Phyl - Thanks!  Very pretty plantation, thanks for the link.

Pip at DNN!!! Thanks for the news Amy!!

Unofficial storm reports from yesterdays storms ..

https://www.spc.noaa.gov/climo/reports/yesterday.html

BL, thanks for the weather alert....

The temp chart can't be right for the midwest. Kansas temps is unimaginable to me! Lived there 32 years and never experienced that!!

Lani that NWS map of temperatures is generally considered to be accurate.

24 hour temp changes swing pretty good at this time of year.
They happen more often then you would think.

Here's today's .. click on the -40's for example.   ;D
