tsk, yes, we had our appointments today! Kelsey has been talking about it for a month, she got quite anxious when she had to sit on the table, but she made it! She got covid and tetanus shots, and she didn't flinch at all! She is still a bit anemic, so they upped her iron pills. I got my Ozympic today, it was only $186.00! Last month it was $668.00!  And all last year after the first month it was around $268.00. We shall soon see if the max $2000.00 out of pocket for Medicare pans out... Last year I paid around $3400 total!

Lani, love your Friday Face!

baz, great idea, to be a happier person than yesterday!

Bella got a new hairdo!! Do you think it makes her look older?

Good Night Beakers!

CLYNN    I never had long hair in my life..LOL  I think she does look older.    I started 40 mg of iron after last July visit.  I take it only 3 times/week and try to up some iron enriched food .  Grits is one!  Kelsey did a good job.  ;D   Tim has a supplemental drug program and pays $94 for two pens.  What dose do you take?  That's a lot of bucks!

PHYL   New word for me too!!!

Good evening beakers!  Woke up to temperatures of 36° and it is now 50 on the way down by Tuesday we will have a high of 77 so our temperatures will be going up starting our spring warm up. Piper says she can’t wait.Baz, Love the pictures of the Outer Banks and hope the deer are able to dig under the snow and find enough to eat. I feel so sorry for all the wild animals having to work so hard for food  but guess   They have don it for years. Think I should be able to call chewy and have a drop shipment to them lol
in my driving days I kept an atlas in the car  on every trip.  Like a GPS we’re driving in town Have enjoyed, exploring the Outer Banks several times kind of a magical place in quite different
Lisa, I have a stupid question is a picture from Liz when she took was a camera with a photo lens or is that a cashier from pho Kim Anh the tree I’m only asking as it would seem to be hard to get a picture of that clear in the distance, it would be from the ground to the nest, or to the branches of the tree. At any rate it’s not necessary picture suitable for framing as they
Clynn, Glad you and Suzi got a good report card and maybe you don’t have to go back for A WHILE.
I sent HeLth home early today as she was having terrible allergy symptoms or something told her to go see the doctor which she did and I’m assuming she had allergies from what he prescribed for her. She got a bad set of symptoms as she was finishing her lunch, which was Chinese food from the mall I don’t know if that was what it was or if it was something else but I suspect it could Have been a number of factors.
Lisa, your morning picture was so colorful and pretty I enjoyed it. Thanks.
The Friday face with something else I love Northern lights as a child on vacation in northern Wisconsin where are used to sit on the lake and watch them every so often and they were spectacular. Sometimes she felt you were sitting under a colorful dome. I did not know how far south they were visible, but it was rural and dark where we were so the sky was more spectacular. Something I’ve never forgotten.
ah. . Ella looks about age and definitely more mature with her new style. Oh she likes it and keeps her bangs trimmed so they don’t get in her eyes.
I take a lot of medication’s, but don’t pay anywhere near the out-of-pocket costs you’re mentioning I don’t know whether it has to do with a drug prescriptions or the cost of the drugs or what the difference is I know I’m not on Ozempic which is I think fairly costly, but shouldn’t be as it’s mostly used for diabetics. I don’t understand the up-and-down cost of the drug either.
Seds and TGIF!

Bounce

When I drove thru Ireland, Scotland and Wales for three weeks on my way to Italy in 1998, before I had access to the Internet and before I had a cell phone, I traveled with just one carry on bag. Along with lightweight clothing, I carried one sheet of atlas map, three small pages of lodging, and one page of attractions per day. I never got lost. If I had strayed from the map I would have been sunk. I was the map keeper on our family vacations thru the lower 48. Hence, my nickname... pam da map.

Clynn, Miss Bella looks older and taller with her new haircut. Love the bangs and long hair it frames her lovely eyes and smile. The cut/style makes her face look longer and thinner. She's a beautiful 7 going on 8! Where has the time gone....   ;D :-* ... glad your appts went well... thanks for the planet post info. Sleep well.

{{{Phyl}}} "Brumous" that's a new word for me too! Love the kitty in front of the heater... sending prayers and take care.  :)

Good Morning Beakers! CATURDAY again!

Lani, I don't know where the time goes.... but it goes too fast! I can't remember, is Mike home for the weekend? Ed will retire April 30th. It won't be much of a change, at least for me. He works from home, 4 hours a day in the Mile Hole. Hopefully I can get him to clean and purge down there!

karen, the kids will stop by today, I will get some more pictures of Bella and her new look!

tsk, what is the supplemental drug plan Tim has, are you referring to Medicare Part D? I am on the 0.5 dose. Dr told me she chose that drug because of the cardiovascular benefits, the other benefits are a plus! I found a list of the benefits:
Benefits of Ozempic Treatment
Blood sugar control and HbA1C reduction*
Significant weight loss support
Lower risk of heart attack and stroke
Improved cardiovascular health in type 2 diabetes patients
Slows the decline of kidney disease and improves cardiovascular outcomes in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and type 2 diabetes.

Phyl, brumous, never heard that word!  Lots of words that are rarely used I imagine!  I checked on the Sauces nest just now, the egg is still there!

It's Caturday

KAREN    Wasn't too long ago that I gave away my Ocracoke tee shirt  LOL  Love saying that word.

TIG    Was that a solo trip you did through Ireland etc?    When I was in high school our family always did our "vacation" in early August.  We camped so had to figure where to land each day based on mileage Dad wanted to drive and sites along the way.  I was the one who mapped it all out.  I loved it  LOLOL  My younger brother is a geography major so needless to say he is all maps!  Thanks "Pam da map"  ;D

LANI  Cute "goodnight"  :D

CLYNN    LOL  " drink coffee and be sexy"  LOL    Love that kitty paw!!   The little girl kissing her kitty   :-* :-* :-*    What will Ed do with those 4 extra hours each day? - purge or add  LOLOL  His drug program is through Humana I believe.   He is also on .5 BUT it is not enough to keep his daily sugars low enough.   I suspect he will go to 1.0 maybe next doc visit?.  Via MyChart I send him every 2-3 weeks worth of blood sugar averages.  My drug plan is through Wellcare and I pay no premium and my 2 prescription drugs are free so far.  SIGH

PHYL  John, James and Ernest with their cats  ;D    365   The deer caught the scent!  365

TSK... Yes, alone... Back when I was a security officer and fit. It was Spring... so I mailed my sweater and some souvenirs home after three weeks on the island. When I got to Rome my choir arrived and brought my robe and music. We toured for another 10 days or so.
My Bro was living in NJ at the time, playing a gig with S I.L. My Mom went into the hospital the day after I left with an adverse reaction to a hormone drug. The nurses were confused when Mom got phone calls every day from NJ and various cities across the pond. I called her and then called Dad at home... it was a challenge for him to take care of himself, the house, my dog, and visit Mom.  ::)
Lots of memories have I.
Happy Caturday

People have been posting pics of Snowies all winter long at the airport. This one is a first!

Ah, I feel like i can breathe again. The warm up begins.
