BL, Beautiful Miss Bella at 6 mo was the only pic I could see on your Spider Rock link.  ;D ..so I looked it up... I remember you climbed that awesome rock... Chuck or Phil ... frankly I'd like more snow or rain.

Kb, Shoebill Stork is a beauty.

Lisa, the text was from a new email address, I blocked it doing what Erin recommended and it hasn't returned. Verizon said that was best or else change my phone number. I'd just as soon change my phone number then get the police involved.

{{{Baz}}} I can understand your concern about the AA pilots, so very tragic. :-*.   I'm sorry about your great nephew, that looks like a very unusual cast for the hand. Looks so uncomfortable, and it's his dominant hand too.... Sending prayers for quick healing and comfort. Maybe the school will let him use a computer, it'll be slow, but at least it's something.

Hi Tig good for Rory.

Puff, YAY! I bet you felt great after a mani/pedi! Looking forward to hearing about your big plans.

Phyl, I enjoy reading about Ground Hog day which is a fun part of celebrating February then on to Valentine's and Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday is just 4 weeks away.  ;D ... Time's buzzing by... garbage text I would just click Delete and Report to Junk.... I have to input to contact list and then click on Block Contact and then I delete contact. So far it's worked.  Verizon said that's what I need to do or change my phone number. Which would be a hassle... lovely good night pic.

{{{Karen}}} I'm so sorry about your friend Lois and the tragic plane crash that has triggered sad memories... sorry...Yes, it looks like M15 and F23 had a good day, back and forth to the nest....  you and Piper enjoy the Grammys and have a peaceful night's sleep.  :-*

Good night!🙏

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, speaking of Miss Bella, she has a birthday coming up this month! I wonder, about the texts... if you got another one from another number that would make me think it's a telemarketer fooling around when he should be calling people and annoying them. They have a different phone number every time. You may have to change your phone number unless the sender gives up after you block him several times. Keep blocking him for a while. (that's what I would do). Also, have you tried replying with an N. That is how to stop a text from the source. Maybe both the block and the N would work.  Love the Albie reports, so cool how they can move the chicks around when needed and no one fusses!

BL, have a great time in Maine! Will Pip and Kopje be going with you?

karen, sounds like you are doing some Spring Cleaning here and there. I am glad to see that you are getting around and can do those thigs! I am so glad you have Piper, she is your little buddy!

Puff, good idea to try and use your 'ugly' hand a bit, although I am not a doctor...Six more weeks, dang!  Our old bones heal slowly...  ManiPedi always good!

baz, love the fron in the rain! I was able to see the picture of your nephew in the soft cast. I bet the teacher will work with him on how to manage for the 4 weeks.!

tsk, I looked up 'texting from an email address', and yes, there are several videos that show how to do it. I am betting telemarketers have started using it some and they can use random email addresses like they use random phone numbers to send from. Scammers are up with the latest ways to annoy or cheat people.

Phyl, have you tried replying to the texts with an N? I have done it many times, when I start getting texts from a company just because I looked at their site on the web. It works! I don't know if this is iPhone specific, if it is there should also be a way on an Android phone.

NEFL - NE31!

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Good Morning Beakers

baz - Hope your twin great nephew has a speedy recovery!

tig - Yay to Rory!

Puff - Are you using the fingers/hand too much, and maybe that is why it is not healing quicker?  I hope you only have 6 more weeks to go, as doctor said.

Phyl - Love the fence in your good night pic.  Love the deer this morning.

((karen)) - Sorry about your friend Lois, and all these plane crashes triggering memories.

BrokenLug - Ooo, I have always wanted to visit Maine, too.

Lani - Oh yes, that is a better idea, change the number!  Hoping the blocking works.

clynn - Pretty good morning flowers.  Awww, NEFL baby is looking good, and looks like they have a pantree full.

BAZI   For some reason the pics did not load last night but are here this AM  LOL  They are hard to miss.  Pictures speak louder than words.  That is one massive cast.  Will be interesting to see how this is managed in school.  Just a peek at distal finger tips.  :'(

TIG  Agree.  Long in coming for Rory.

PUFF    No OT ordered???   You are right in just trying to use your hand normally - in short bouts at first.  Open and close your fingers to start.  Anxious to hear about your "big plans"  ;D

KAREN   LOL  So funny - " get summer pots planted before they sell out"   Strange sentence to hear in these parts  LOL   Awful story about your friend Lois  :(

BL  Will that be a "work" thing on the ME island or a fun trip?  The next trip my traveling friend and I were going to do was Acadia - but then life got in the way  :(

LANI   How sweet  - your good night pic of Mama and Papa in admiration  :)

CLYNN   thanks for the info.  I did not know you could text from an email address.  :o   What does the "N " mean?

PHYL  Love the line of sheep  :)   Nice story behind the gulls.  Every bird has a story  :)

LISA     Wonder what the red sprinkle is on that cuppa..?

tsk   LisaG   Each time at Ortho I've had session with therapist, also.  Last time received a set of 8? pages.  Arm, wrist, and finger exercising.  Big obstacle would be the day-to-day issue of arthritis; can't bend fingers/thumb on a good day anyway.  That's the brunt of the damage I did the end of the month (Nov).  Knee, elbow, shoulder almost cleared now.

Lois was an interesting and very bright  person ,  her first job, Following her graduation from Beloit College was as an English teacher at Morton High School!   She told me about a student she had who’s she was encouraging to go into the theater. She claimed he was absolutely very talented and would go far and in that kind of work after pushing back on her for a while, he finally did become involved in the theater at the high school, and proceeded on from there.  This person was Joe Mantegna .  At Lois’s memorial service in Westchester county New York he credited her with his  areer choice.
Niw waiting fir the Lowes delivery service to arrive and change  the side the door opens in!  Mentioned was wring when  they brought it but they left without fixing it It has now been a hassle  get ting it fixed.

Still warm!

Feb 2, 2025  #RoyalCam
📌𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶, 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 (𝗗𝗢𝗖):
After being temporarily swapped to a neighbouring nest where the parent had plenty of food the Royalcam chick has been placed back in its own nest and the foster returned to its nest. There was a good weight gain for the Royalcam chick this morning.

At 6 days on the nest RLK/A85 is running low on food to sustain his chick. Now the chick weighs 575g it will not need fed again for a while.

Good morning Beakers!
Morning Eagles4, Lisa, Ezee, Eburg, Weasel, Jilltosa, Kb, Tsk, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eaglesrock, Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, BL, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Clynn, Miss Bella  :-* .... the texts have an email address from gmail accounts. Not phone numbers. And the subjectively clad women or men are telemarketing themselves. I do not open the emails since the first two were sent. Since I am on a state committee for my women's education group I thought it would be from any of the 166 phone numbers/emails I keep track of for my state work. The email addresses were not part of my committee list.... so they are now BLOCKED and DELETED as per Erin suggested.... By the way, Mike replied on my phone with an STOP/N and they replied back with a laughing emoji!... Payson Verizon said, DON'T REPLY.....As I wrote before, I tried everything before asking for help here in the Beak.... and so far it's been 24 hours since last text, so we will wait and see.. I'm not changing phone numbers until I need to, as soon as my term is up for state committee work I'll delete the contacts... I do have a landline phone number which we keep for personal use too. We get Telemarketing, Fix your Roof, Taxes, Medicare, and Political phone calls on that one all the time.... awww sweet active NEFL baby.  :-*

Phyl, Beautiful winter pics this morning... Sadie and I did go for a walk today. We met our walking buddy and his pups! He felt stronger to walk today, he has a failing heart and wanted to be out in the fresh air. It was slow and easy walk, but he did make a mile and a half trip. So God Bless him... And Sadie was happy to be with her pack again!  ;D Love your morning pics... The Albies are very sweet and gentle natured. It's been fun to watch and learn from these beautiful birds.... Payson Verizon told me to delete the text and sent to junk. And Block.. do not reply. It's the clicks they want back. Thank you for the two articles, I'll read them tonight. I'm so behind on catching up with house stuff this morning...

Lisa, so far the blocking content has worked... and I pray your medications are working for you too.  :-* .. I just read your answer to Tsk, oh yummy red velvet latte.  ;D

{{{Puff}}} Take care  :-*

Karen, thank you for sharing more about Lois.. talons crossed getting your door fixed.

PHYL   365  :)

KAREN  Sure hope they got the dryer door to open the right way.  Why would you contemplate a return?   WOW  What a good call for your friend Lois!  Joe Mantagna - one of my favs and Chicago born and bred!!

LANI   Boy, you have to wonder what those albatross are thinking when a switch is made  LOL   We are sure learning a lot through what has been an awfully frustrating experience at your expense.  :(
