Hello Beakers

My post last evening and this morning happened without problems.

Kilauea started fountaining within the past hour - to judge height of fountain, lava falls about 200 feet per second - pick a spot at the top and time it to the clock on the screen to determine how high the fountain is...

oldguy, wow on the live video of Kilauea, what a sight!

BL, I remember that episode, I saw it again last month, I love watching the Seinfeld re-runs! They are still funny!

tsk, same here with the swimming lessons. that was when Dad was stationed at Luke AFB, Phoenix, and there were 4 pools on base! We spent a lot of time there during the summers! And no sunscreen!

Lori, such a pretty and delicious cake for tsk! I'll have a big piece of that one!

Lisa, tsk must not be able to get in again, haven't seen her for a while, and it's her birthday!  Seems like the forum is causing many different issues, none of us are having quite the same problems!

Baz still cannot get in the forum or even read ....  and getting frustrated

Oldguy, it was amazing to see the Kilauea video of helicopter and scientists getting out to take lava samples... to land so close to the cone, and how big the cone is compared to the copter... just awesome. I wonder what they were wearing... just amazing. Thanks  :) ... great tunes of 66... awesome Kilauea update.... awww cute video of Inky & Philbert and babies.

Clynn, beautiful morning pics.... I don't preview anymore, I've lost more posts... that's interesting about the road in New Mexico, I'd love to hear it.... I have a few 45's packed away.... In the Beetles early years it was hard to buy their 45 or album. Tsk, so glad you could see your birthday greetings today and enjoy the yummy cakes!!  ;D

Lori, that Lemon Cheesecake Cake is perfect! I'll have a piece please.  ;D

BL, LOL for the birthday post for Tsk.

Paulie, great to see you... so glad all went well for your family celebration and weekend... June is a busy birthday month for your family. WOW! sending prayers for Charlie.... Little Tuxedos is a cute name for the Chick-a-dees babies.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, great 365, love the close-ups of the birds and the rain hitting the water... We're in a hot streak for now, high 87 for today. Sweet blue bunnies!

Lani, I feel so bad for those who can't even get in or read the forum...I wish someone would tell us that they are working on it! I would feel like I lost my friends if I couldn't get in!  Kilauea is beautiful and fascinating, too bad it is destructive as well... Back in my high school days we lived in Albion while dad was in Viet Nam, I went my Freshman and part of my Sophomore year there, and then my Senior year when we moved back for good when Dad retired. There was a Ben Franklin store that had a little record section, that's where I bought most of my records. Two spinster sisters worked the cash register, Margie and Nona Tribe. They knew I would be the first one in there when the records came in! Nona passed away in 2007, she was 81. Margie passed away in 2024, she was 99. Two weeks away from being 100. So they weren't so old back in the late 60s!  Great picture of the Strawberry Moon!

Paulie, hope Charlie is doing well and getting a good rest after your big weekend! Cute name for the Black-capped Chickadees, we have them here, a regular at my bird feeders! We have lots of Juncos too, a sweet little bird.

oldguy, love the Chickadee cam! Interesting that they get the egg shells out of the bole, and it looked like she was eating some of the shell! Busy, busy, busy! And if they are like Robins they can have 2 or 3 batches of little ones each year!

I miss all the Beakers that can't get into the forum!

RIP Brian Wilson - The Beach Boys

I'm starting to think that the number of 'people online' is a hint as to why some peeps are having trouble getting into the forum.

I remember some years ago (before RRP switched servers) RRP was having problems with DOS attacks on the Forum and their Web Pages as I recall.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack

Is this what is going on again now ??

The "Average online per day" is 79  .. yesterday (06/11) there were 1,858 !
A record ? WHY ?   :o   ::)   ???

-EDIT-
If the Stat Center is recording the "Online" numbers correctly there is definitely an increase in those #'s starting on 06/04/25.

Not the amount of "Online" that would cause all these forum issues, I wouldn't think, but an unusual increase of traffic.  :-\

Good Morning Beakers

clynn - Love your pretty cuppa color this morning.  I miss all the Beakers too that cannot post or read the forum.  RIP Brian Wilson.  Gorgeous pic of the Strawberry Moon!

Phyl - Thanks for the 365.  I am just trying to help and pass the messages along for the Beakers who cannot post or read.

Lani - I am sure some of the Beakers, and other members of the forum are very frustrated.
Beautiful pic of the moon from Andrew McCarthy.  Thanks for the TRR update.

paulie - Two weeks will be here before you know it, and off to the cabin you go.  :)

BrokenLug - Hubby said the same thing, people may be using BOTS to do something.

I don't want to rub anything in, but I can reliably log in/out with no problems.

Preview and post without any issues what so ever, as in the way it always has been on my end.

Attaching images the same, no problems.

The only issue on my Desktop machine (Win 7 Home ed.) is the off 4 pages 'index issue'. No biggie.

I have not gotten any Error messages of any kind in over a week.   ???

Very puzzling and  :(  for those having problems.

Maybe this is what the board really needs .. LOL.
