Thanks Lani  What a beautiful way to start the morning.  Hugs.  Enjoyed the "Beautiful Morning" music.

Reminds me of the great feeling when you get to enjoy.  Not enjoying it quite yet, still setting up  the yard - about 3 hours yesterday and at least that much today.  That's because of the "breaks" to rest and enjoy what is to soon be.  First thing today will be to set up the fountain.  Filled two water features yesterday, but got the word from the chirpers that they want their shower.

Sat and watched the chickadees playing house - got them a new nest box this year.  Courting and chirping routine is sweet and comical.  Like tsk I don't see the smoke being that much of a problem, but maybe still coming.  Tomorrow's schedule will be taking place in the garage, out of some 90 degree heat they're promising (?) us.  I just hope there's a breeze.  "The best plans of man and mice" will be reported later.

ENJOY!!!

CLYNN   What beautiful nest shots from Jennifer.  When we owned in Door county our "condo house" was in a cul-du-sac with 8 other houses.  In the center was a bluebird house that was monitored - am not sure by whom.  They were scattered all over the development.
Don't recall seeing bluebirds up there however  :(   What an adventure for Becky and Jennifer.  In another life.  LOL

PHYL   I love ferns as my yard demonstrates  :)  365

PUFF  Sounds like you are on a good plan for pacing yourself in setting up the yard for summer.  :D

Bounce

Thanks BL... We are easing into this new space... lots of new to get used to. One could run a bison 🦬 through here and not hit anything! I actually headed down the incorrect path attempting to go to my bedroom. We each have our own wing of the vacation home.
More adventures to have today...

Tig, we Do
need pictures of the mansion!
Good morning, beakers and happy June it blew in with a lot of Canadian smoke yesterday which I think is due here again today we have dry air and higher temperatures, but it feels cool. Air is out of the north and the smoke went south of Tallahassee so I’m sure even if it wasn’t noticed up north it was there. I wish they could put some fires out.   Per news Lon CBS!

Good Morning Beakers...Happy Sunday!

karen has been trying to post several times, and she cannot get anything to post after she writes up her post.  I have been trying to post and getting the dreaded error and I see she has beat me here!

tsk - Funny about Jeff's Aunt turning 80, as that is what the invite said.  She is Jeff's moms, sister.  I asked her are you older than Jeff's mom or younger.  She says to me I am 10 years younger.  I didn't say anything at that time, but oh ok.  Then, when Jeff and I got in the car, I asked him, your mom was older than your dad?  He says, no why?  I said, your aunt said she was 10 years younger, so that would make your mom 90 and your Dad is 88.  He looks on his Ancestry, and finds that his mom was born in 1939, and his aunt in 1949.  I don't think her own children know her age!!  ;D

Lani - Thank you.  Jeff's aunt was surprised.

clynn - I don't know about how the chiggers get in your clothes.  I was just suggesting maybe that was what paulie may have got from outside her cabin.

Phyl - I don't have chiggers, but I do know they itch like crazy.

(((BL))). RIP Mr, P

(((Baz)))
Good Cheers of the grandchildren having a great time yesterday, Clynn!  Thanks for posting!
Tsk, happy news for Tims Nodule what a relief that must be.

LISA pretty trees in your yard and great that you have shade, front and back since my neighbor removed her Pines. My backyard is pretty sunny even though there are trees there they were the wrong spot.

Temperature is back into the 90s again today and has the bug man said yesterday all of a sudden it was AugusT!
Thank you for the birthday greetings the blueberry lemon cake, the flowers and the balloons I’ll be celebrating in style later today currently waiting for the yard man to come and plant some bushes trim up a little bit of the grass and do what has to be done Lori I love the identification card for destiny pretty kitty
Old Guy, thanks for the fruit filled cake!  Looks spectacular as the fireworks going off! ‘Love thank you all for all the sweets and treats and I hope you all enjoyed some of it as well. They sure were all delicious and the flowers smelled wonderful and were pretty and the balloons went purple when they broke. I am not going to post anymore today I don’t believe because I’m very confused as to where my posts have landed and what they’ve said and in what order they’re coming up this post I thought was written yesterday, but it shows up on Sunday it’s it for him is the biggest mess, particularly not the form, but particularly the beak that I’ve seen since 2011 when I first started I hope Amy gets off of those rocks and that falcon banding truck and comes back and fixes this at some point
One thing I thought I wrote, but I don’t know where it is. Was that KB I believe that blanket is Mexican as Tsk
said.I   The color is definitely look Indian to me, but the fringe at the end is definitely Mexican. At any rate. The bureau of Indian affairs in Bloomington should be able to point you in the direction of someone who could authenticate the. For you and that would be one mystery solved.

Sunday morning goats and sheep video!....LOL

Took Ollie for a shortened walk as the air quality is still only in the moderate range...very hazy however.

Ugg. My job today: clean that grill...soak the grates, remove the tiles, shop vac the inside...clean the outside.

Have a great day!

KB... Tough job

We took the fancy pants pontoon (3 live wells!!!) on a shakedown cruise. The loon came to within 5 feet and welcomed us "home". As that was happening, the bald eagle followed its juvie with fish back to the nest area. Nice. Camper said all systems go but the firing mechanism is jammed. Lol. I brought her back to dock like a seasoned captain, idle only, light breeze, great angle, motor trimmed to 80% due to low water. Poifect.
Now for a nap.
Oh, and suppers this week, when we don't go to our usual 2 restaurants, will be frozen dinners. I decided I need a vacay from cooking.

This yummy ice cold Strawberry Lemonade is a healthy summer refreshment with blended strawberries, fresh lemon juice and honey and then...

Enjoy this Strawberry Danish Braid With Vanilla Glaze is made with homemade pastry dough that is light, buttery and flaky.  The first layer is a nice thick layer of creamy vanilla pastry cream, then topped that off with lots and lots of delicious strawberries!

You betcha. As it's a MPH grill recommended by Centerpoint Energy when we replaced our older one. It's porcelain so can't use metal on anything. Wire brushes, nope, metal scrapers, nope. Etc....I did the best I could soaking the grates in dawn and using wood to scrape....shop vaced the inside etc...

Can't use oven off or similar products either. For some reason. ;) ;) ,my hands end up greasy...

Not sure what you mean when you say firing mechanism not working, yet you got her to dock?
