Good Morning Beakers.....HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

BrokenLug - That was some light show and rumbling last night.

tsk - Oh no, on Tim's blood sugar.

karen - Glad you got two of your filters fixed.  Aww, the SWFL kiddos are getting big.

Phyl - We didn't make it to the ball drop either, but I did wake at 1am to tell Jeff to turn off the TV.  Jeff is thinking about buying another two-cat kitty house.   :D  Thanks for the 365, and pretty morning pics.

Lani - Thank you for the firework displays from around the world.  Sorry about your car battery.  Beautiful pics from all the RRP cams, and I am happy be here another year in the Beak with you all.  :-*

Lori - Waving at ya!  Hope you and Destini are doing well.

clynn - That was very nice of you to say about Jeff.  Ha...I used that same exact NY pic on my FB this morning....GMTA!!!  So very sad about what happened in New Orleans.  :'(

tig - Enjoy your tennis today.

paulie - Happy New Year to you!

kb, oldguy and Puff - Morning  :)

The ice bathers at Lake Harriet this morning.  15 degrees with a refreshing breeze from the west.  Note the person with only hands exposed.. Water is a lot warmer than the air!

Lake Harriet is close to me..a few miles away and a previous favorite walking lake
They do this every year.......imho: i-iots

PHYL   Yes I am aware we are seeing some enhanced "older" programs.  It's just with this one I remember that endearing photo.

PAULIE   Happy New Year to you as well.  Kind of you to jump in with the wishes  ;D

LANI   LOL  Love that celebrating pup  :D

LISA  This is our first week now relying only on Ozempic .5 dose.  After two weeks and averaging all of his blood sugars I will send to doc for comments.  So far doc is happy with how we are doing.  Jeff is earning a lot of brownie points with his concern for our furry friends.  ;) ;)   Thanks for posting Karen's message from CROW.

I was in bed by 9:30 and at 12:03 was awaken by quite a works display not far from us - Am not sure what neighbor  LOL

Tsk, fireworks and gun shots here from about 6 until roughly 11pm.  Very little at midnight!  Must have run out of ammo!
Good job you and Tim are doing !

Kb - Those icebathers 🥶

Tsk - I am glad to hear that Tim’s doc is happy with how you all are handling things.  I am hoping I am still holding the same A1C when I go back this time.  I am been cheating with all these cookies Jeff has made.

Karen - You’re welcome.  I had to LOL at your, “they must have ran out of ammo”.

Phyl - Thanks 😊 Oh, I didn’t hear about Las Vegas, going to Google that now.

Good night, everyone 😴

KAREN    LOLOLOL  "Must have run out of ammo!!"  ;D ;D

LISA   Right.  This has been a hard time during the holidays for Tim to be good.  He just has to pick better snack foods at night as his AM is the highest of the day.

PHYL  I also had to google Vegas - found four awful things that have happened there...

Got Barb and Tom to the airport early this AM and they are now safely in the sunny climes for 4 months.

Started taking down Christmas and by Sunday should be done.

Despite my still irritatingly sore right shoulder I started a 500 piece puzzle this afternoon using just my left arm/hand.   ::) ::)

Hello Beakers

Hope that every one had a great New Years Day.

The football game did not end as I wanted, but the Men & Women Basketball teams have had a great week.  ;)

Yesterday on my way home from work, I noticed that I had a low tire - so after 3 stops to have it repaired, I finally got someone to look at the tire - they determined that the tire was not good and would not repair it.  The tires were made in 2017 and suffering from sun rot.  I was planning on replacing them soon.  But they also found that the brakes were needing replacement on the front.  So, I have an appointment for right after work to get everything repaired.  This is the first repair other than oil changes , that have been needed in 50k+ miles in 8 years.

2025 is starting out in  a rotten way for some of us this year..Og his tires, our car accident and who knows what to who here.  *sigh*

Jim was stopped at a red light on the way home today and the car behind anticipated the light change and plowed into the rear of the Ford. It was
jarring and crinkled the back of the Ford. The other vehicle was early model  pick-up and no damages. I 'm a afraid to look at it.
Worried Jim might have some 'whiplash' or such. He won't see his Doc says he's fine. I said 'Sure you are'. Best get checked out while
the medical can go on auto insurance.  ::)

OG tks for the links will check them out tomorrow.

Tsk-surprisingly the tree and ornaments and the evergreen garland over the  arch from livingroom to dining room and on the outer
and rail  of stairs... bows and Partridges all down and packed away over the weekend.  Take care of the shoulder and have fun with the puzzles

Well... really tired tonight for some reason.

“ Good Evening Beakers'.. .SEDs  to all.

Happy birthday Zippo! I hope you're feeling good and will get lots of treats in celebration of your special day!    8)

Lori, thanks for letting us know it's Zippo's birthday! Happy New Year to you and Destini.

Clynn, love your morning posts!  ;D. {{{Kelsey}}}

Phyl, love Zippo's birthday cake!  ;D ... Thanks for nature video, It's JB's classics of the Ravens keeping each other's safe from the snow storm. One of my favorites... oh no, a car accident. Sending prayers for you and Jim.

Karen, The Sugar Bowl will be played tomorrow.... a sad day for those in NO  :'(  .. Thanks to Lisa for posting your FB for CROW! Bless them for all they've done this past year, including transporting and taking care of their patients through two hurricanes this year! ... "Must have run out of ammo!" LOL! Well thank God for that.

Hi Paulie, best wishes for this new year to you and your family!

Lisa, Mike bought a new battery jump starter today... got my car started, it's short term fix until we can get my car into a repair shop... When do you replace your flooring? I couldn't remember if it was this month or next. {{{Jeff}}}

Kb, ice bathers are crazy! I'm sure they're fun people, but crazy! LOL!

Tsk, sending prayers Tim does well on Ozempic. Good job to you both.... No fireworks here this year because lack of moisture. So all was quiet.... glad to hear the snowbirds Barb/Tom are safely back in Florida.... take care with your puzzle arm and Enjoy.  ;D :-*

Tig, what a great game. At first we thought Texas was going to run away with it and then ASU caught up. Overtime and then... sigh... Campers having a good day too.

Oldguy, sorry about your tires.  :-\ .. thanks for the links.

Good night!
