What a wonderful day today we had temperatures again in the high 70s with a sunshiny sky and a light breeze. Piper said it was wonderful out in her backyard bathroom maybe get a little rain on Sunday and temperatures will be cooling down to the 60s with one day in the 50s I’m loving the weather but I am concerned that it’s too hot too early in the azaleas are starting to bloom in town. My Japanese magnolia is in full bloom and just gorgeous at the corner of my front yard. The trees are starting to leave out and all in all Springer‘s first and fourth when I wasn’t out driving around, taking my lamp to be repaired I was on the beach, eating some of the wonderful goodies for the birthday girls. Oh the chocolate is just really fabulous.
The morning posts are very interesting and pretty from  Clynns cool whites  To Lisa’s
orange, and beautiful tulips.    Phyl, Interesting 365 this morning from Japan. I hope you are taking care of your knee today and resting it. Busy day for you Wednesday.
I hope everyone enjoyed the day and is having a wonderful evening TGIF and s EDS

Good Morning Beakers! It's March and it's Caturday!

Phyl, Good Morning!

oldguy, yes, a very windy day yesterday! kind of cancelled the nice temp! High today here 35!!! But it starts going back up on Sunday! Crazy!  Great video on how to re-furbish a cat tree, I saved it, I would never thought of using rugs!  I have that album, Iron Butterfly, In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida!

Lani, we got to Cracker Barrel early (it's only about 2 miles from us) so I could go over everything in the store, I love it! It always smells so good, especially by the Woodwick and Yankee candles! The  have the cutest outfits for little ones, I loved looking for stuff for Bella when she was a toddler! And the food is great! Sweet good night puppy...

Phyl, hope your knee is feeling better this morning!

karen, sounds like you are having beautiful weather! It will be a while before we see things greening up...but it will come! A chilly day today, 35. But back up to 51 tomorrow and 61 Monday.  Crazy weather!

tsk, a terribly windy day yesterday here too!

baz, winter can't be gone soon enough!  It won't be long until it's officially Spring! Next Sunday we will be an hour ahead of where we are now...and I just got used to regular time. I hope they can choose one or the other and just do it!

Lisa, love the tulip morning pic yesterday!

The kids are dropping the Munchkins off this evening so they can go out to dinner, so I will be able to show Sydney all the birthday wishes!! Thank you all!!

Henry, the world's oldest known crocodile, had his 124th birthday in December 2024 at the Crocworld Conservation Centre in South Africa.
Originally captured in Botswana’s Okavango Delta in 1903, the massive Nile crocodile has spent nearly four decades at Crocworld, where he has fathered over 10,000 offspring.
Living in captivity has further ensured Henry’s long life, providing him with consistent food and protection from natural threats. Scientists studying aging in reptiles say Henry’s case is remarkable and could offer insights into longevity across species.

Clynn, I found fun xmas stocking gifts at Cracker Barrel....I wish it wasn't 2 hours away or else we'd go there for their fried chicken/gravy more often. That is the one thing they do not have up here, a good fried chicken restaurant.... sweet morning pics.... Henry looks very spry for his age, and still has all his teeth!

Phyl, cats really don't care how we feel, so true!! LOL! ... Love the kitty stool. LOL!  ;D

Tsk, darling pics of Lulu, she gave you her best poses. Front and sides. She is very contented...  ;D :-*

Good afternoon Baker’s temperatures in the high 70s today and we will be having a slight cool down next week and then up and down for a little while not unusual for the area although there’s no snow in the forecast
Tsk, great pictures of Lulu. I meant to mention that on the post you made earlier, when you said you were going to be showing the series she has a pretty little thing And I am guessing a great personality for you and Tim.
Cracker Barrel has some great home cooking items on their menu I particularly like their breakfast. The story is great. I had a colleague when I was working who was employed in Nashville Tennessee and lost his job. I called him to see if he wanted to move for another job and he said no he was OK. Turns out his best friend had opened a small restaurant east of Nashville. He was expanding the business. My colleague was smart enough to purchase a bunch of stock at a very low rate, and said the return was unbelievable. I always think of him when I passed a restaurant with the rocking chairs in the parking lot full of cars a great investment for himself, and a great help to his friend.
My Japanese magnolia flowers are purple at the base, turning white to the top. Strangely, it is not rated for my climate zone, but has been doing extremely well with no assistance from me whatsoever. Been very happy with it. I also meant to say that my little house Finches are Backe saw them yesterday for the first time flying in and out of the nest and will be watching to see if she is truly incubating anything at this time
SWFL posted I believe on Facebook that they did not know whether or not there would be a second clutch or not. The behavior of both eagles would indicate that eggs are eminent, but the hope is that they will not second clutch due to the lateness of the season, I was curious as to what that meant since I’m just now laying eggs in the north, and it appears they are concerned about hurricanes and l Fledges occurring this late. They concluded by saying the Eagles will do what they do the nest looks great with high rails and lots of soft grasses in the middle and M has been bringing fish treats for F so I stay tuned

.
Piper is napping and softly snoring a sweet sound to my ears. Have a great Caturday!

Good Afternoon Beakers.....Happy Caturday!!

Jeff and I went out shopping early this morning.  We needed to make sure everything is stocked up for him, B&M, and the B&B kitties since I will be away at the end of this coming week and the next.
