 Good Morning Beakers !

Currently: 36F  rain/snow mix , High  50F  , Low 35F

Hope all those getting   heavy snow fall from this winter weather are warm and safe inside. And, enjoying their fireplaces this Sunday.

CLynn-- sorry about your mom's health issues, esp. her feet. And relieved she has neighbors that help the mail and other things.    Bella and her desk are a perfect fit so many buy children's furniture too large allowing for growth.  Oh and those snowfall pictures ...I hope the weather doesn't get that bad for any of us as Lake Shore Drive. Whew, relieved your mom doesn't get the mail and other stuff... ;)  When my mom had her stroke she'd just moved back her and was settle in a town house that had courtesies for seniors.    Such a quaint looking bookstore  :)

Lisa---how are  B & B kitties this  AM... doing well I hope.

Tsk--I luv orange juice and there's a tall one too  ;)

Prayers for:  Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country. And   #47.   Police and First Responders.   'Little Gray' and 'Little One' and  all abandoned, abused , lost cats , stray, unloved, homeless  and feral cats.
The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee,  Sauces bald eagle cam nest, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . As always, Beakers, Cheerios and RRP / families.

I'm glad I found this. Because I had been curious about where the best locations were..

TSK.... I have not yet seen the pictures! I'll need to give him a nudge. He was busy this Fall with senior pictures for 2 young people, and Christmas pics for the "Navy" family and in between he prepared for his camera club meetings, etc. Sigh.

I very much enjoyed watching tennis all night from Australia.
I won't spoil the news in case BAZ hasn't seen it yet.  8)

Just 11 hours left until kickoff!

Good luck to all Minnesota Vikings fans tonight !

I did not realize the Vikings and the Lions have the same record this season.

I would love to see Kansas City VS Vikings for the Super Bowl.   ;D

Phyl, love those beautiful winter wreaths, I wish I could design one like that! Not good at coming up with the ideas but good at copying! The 365 is so soothing, back and forth, in and out, over and over... What a crowd at the shoreline! Thanks for the video of the best places to see eagles! I think Mom can stay in her house for a long time. There are stairlifts that we had put in for Dad, walk-in shower and she can get as much help as she needs since she has Long Term Care. She has help 3 days a week for 3 hours per day. The gal she has now is good and they get along well.

tsk, yes, Mom still drives (she passed the test in November), she goes to Fairfield (15 miles west) or Mt Carmel (16 miles west) if she needs something, and she can go to the DG Market in Albion in a pinch! Most of her medical appointments are in Evansville, IN (55miles SE) and so are Aunt Linda's, so they always go together and Linda always drives! I will take a picture of the driveway when I go in April. It's not a huge hill but enough that I don't think one could get up it easily if there was ice on it. Looking at the house from the front it is a 2 story where the bedrooms, family room and garage are but in the back it looks 1-story, the hill still goes up into the little wooded area we call the back yard. Well, here is a picture of the 79 blizzard for you:

Okay, this is gross but historical! snicker, snicker... ;D ;D
This is the largest fossilized human turd ever found. It belonged to a sick Viking in the 9th Century AD, and has been valued at $39,000".
The large, “precious” Poop, officially known as the Lloyds Bank Coprolite,
the word “Coprolite” simply meaning fossilized dung. This 1200 year old log that is thought to be the largest recorded in human history.
At 8 inches long and 2 inches wide, specimen was discovered, in York northwest England in 1972 by construction workers during the building of a Lloyds TSB branch, in an area once ruled by Norse warriors. It takes its name from institution Lloyds Bank.

BL... yes. If we win, we get a bye week and home field advantage throughout... if not, we have to play a wild card game and go on the road = failure

Clynn... Oh my...

The "moment" on CBS Sunday morning today celebrated the Bald Eagle as official.

BL, she is safely hunkered down with provisions! I just looked at TWC radar and the storm, (Blair, they have named it) got up ALMOST to Des Moines but dropped south just in time!

Good Morning Beakers...Happy Sunday!

tsk - I would hope my lil B&B guest would want some hot cocoa.  Boots, gloves, coat, scarf and snow brush for car are all by the door.   :D

tig - Oh wow, cold outside, and cold in the rink.  Brrr!

Phyl - We didn't need much, but I wanted to get some of the essentials at grocery yesterday.  Are you all getting the wintry mix today?  The B&B kitties are doing ok, fingers crossed they stay in the cat houses or shed tonight.

Lani - I am hunkered down.  I pulled out a Butterball boneless turkey on Friday, and will do that today for dinner.

clynn - Oh my, Lakeshore Drive!  Bella looks like she has a nice set up there in her room. I hope your Mama stays put with the storm.  Love the book store!

kb and tig - Good luck to your teams.

BrokenLug - Thank you, appreciate all your weather posts.   :)

karen, Puff, kb and all - Morning  :)

I'll just leave this here! ;)

Hope everyone in the path of the winter storm is prepared!.

For us we've had very very cold prolonged spells....not the typical couple days of freezing cold, but 10-14 days of it in a row.

I conferred with my sis yesterday who made me feel less alone about NOT being inspired to do anything!
Inside nor out....One would think this is the perfect weather to get lots of indoor work done, NOPE not inspired to do anything, nor is she...
Oh well, lots of winter left yet. 75 days till spring I heard!

PHYL   Beautiful wreaths.   Interesting about what states are good for eagle viewing.  No brainer - Alaska as #1  No surprise either with MN a strong second

TIG   No problem.  Just didn't want you to forget us  LOL   Settling down now to watch Bears Packers.

CLYNN   Good thing Mom is healthy.  Long way to go for medical appts  :o :o :o  I'm so used to 5-10 min!  No comment on the poop.  ::) ::)    Think we will only get 1-3" on Monday.

LISA    Snow starting later today but we are at the north end and only 1-3" for Monday.

LANI   Sister pup is a bit scary.  Hopefully cloistered  LOL
