2025 US Bank Falcons, La Crosse WI

I'll start: RosieannB identified falcon 30/AC. Greg Septon banded Birdie Blair (love the name!) at the WEPCO Oak Creek Power Plant in Milwaukee, WI in 2024. Birdie is about 184 miles NW of her natal nest.

Nice! We've seen some of these falcons before and others are from the region. Zazu's natal nest is maybe 20 miles upstream? Some year I'll spend a couple of winter days in La Crosse looking for falcons.

Another intersting visitor this morning. Young one with an "upside down" u on the band, U/09. Picture zoomed.
Last season at GSB, a young one with an "upside down" u on the band visited there, I can't remember the number...

And thank you Rosieann, I've been trying to figure out the id today.  I figured the U was upside down, but didn't think about the number being upside down also.  I believe Ardy was with her today also.
