Shep, the new cam views are right here at the GSB site.  Rewind to about 9AM this morning to see the "back" side again.  Just depends on what the cam ops show us.   Same principle as the multiple views from several cameras at DNN and Decorah, too.

Nice to have you on board, Phyl!  The other cameras go live on Friday morning, 10:00.  Chats at the same time on both Decorah and DNN sites.  Whoopie.

The maple trees that turn red are on full display this week.  Haven't seen Newman for a few days.

Really beautiful views to the north of the nest box around 11:00, and a large empty barge travelling downriver.  No birds on view.

Some GSB trees at peak of fall color this week.  Nest box clean and ready for next season.

This fall we've seen several supermooons, and there might be one more in November.  Have you seen the A3 comet yet?  It's in the western sky just after sunset.  My neighborhood is not conducive to good views at that time of day/night.  Maybe views at the Flyway.

Four or more Bald Eagles harrassing the  many ducks on the water across from the GSB nest box area this afternoon around 4:00.  Fun to watch if you have a really big screen.

Another day of fall color along the GSB area of the river.  Wonder if you can make placemats from photos?  Trees in fall foliage and boats on the river both good subjects.

Fall color is just about over at GSB.  Beautiful view from the north side camera about 9:00 this morning.  You can watch the barge as it gets navigated way upriver.
