Thanks for the banding info and screen shots.  Hardly seems possible they're this big; weren't we just waiting for a hatch?!?

It DOES seem like they just hatched, but maybe because the different places seemed more spread out on when they hatched.

Look at those wings!

They're so darned cute...

The one on the left is picking at old bones/leftovers...

About noon Elizabeth brought in a snow white banded pigeon.  They sure dug in......

About three hours later she brought in another meal.  No wonder those two are so huge.  They're getting pretty good at ripping off and picking meat off the bones by themselves too.

Incoming food!

Mikey brought a Red-Winged Blackbird to Elizabeth.  While she was trying to pluck the feathers off the one in particular was getting really grabby and trying to take it.

We had quite a tussle and tug-of-war over a leftover leg.  The one finally got it and about that time a meal came in.  It kept trying to swallow the leg and finally took its foot and held it so it could pull it out and then did swallow it.

They're getting good at going in and out of the nestbox onto the platform.  That step Bob Anderson put there way back when Little George got stuck out there and couldn't get back works great.
Food is approaching...

A little tug-of-war with mom.....
