I cant get Xcel cams at King, High bridge
or Alma cam.
Alma cam went off last nite

Well DUH - Electric Outage in several areas due to storms.
Bird cams WOULD NOT take priority over people!

She is REALLY 'heavy' with egg.
She's gotta drop it today.
Just saw both inside dancing.

11 am  A kestrel stopped to look into the box - then fly off

Joe'l has really been hanging around the nest box a lot.  Does some preening in there, maybe a scrape, and sits on the perch.

Ha!!  I figured today was too soon for a second egg, but about 1530 I was looking at her and Monty (if that's him this year again) was pacing at the end of the "delivery room" so I waited.  Nope!    I've only been watching the cams for 20 years...........

Monty brought in a meal for Joe'l and she took it and went out on the rooftop edge to eat it.  It's an off and on rainy day up there and she just about blew over a couple times.

Monty was on egg duty while Joe'l took a break.  She sat on the perch a bit and then went and did a little preening on the roof edge before something got their attention and he finally came out, mated, and left.
