BAZI  What  wonderful life experiences your young niece has had!!  I was fascinated.   I live vicariously through others ( have many friends who have traveled extensively)  and I enjoy hearing how others experience our planet.  I would love to get to know her.  How did she meet her husband?  As a family , they have wonderful outdoor experiences.  :) :)

Did I see the Chief's lost today?  Yikes!

We're traversing right here right know.

Our 2 areas of interests are now diverging from here.

That's the trip.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, important looking Pontiff dog! Love the sleeping kitty!

BL, sounds like you will be on the road again soon!

baz, wow on your niece! She can check a lot of boxes on the 'where have you been' list! It's wonderful that she had the guts to do all that, especially starting so young!

tsk, hope Tim's itching goes away soon, itching is terrible! Have you ever had an itch on your foot while you were driving?  EEK!

Lisa, Ed needs a huge purge of stuff in the Mole Hole! I hate going down there!

TSK, LOL, I just went back and shortened that part of my post. It was too much. Oh law...  :D  Yep, she got the travel bug pretty early on, but she's 39 now, so she's had more years to do some of that. Like you, I love hearing other people's adventures and seeing their pictures. Oh, she and her husband met while in college. Yes! You saw the Chiefs lost! Rats! And, pooh.

BL, I love that song. Steve Winwood sure used to turn around on my table a lot. Enjoy your travels, and safe return. Yes, Puff sure has traveled much, to say the least!! LOL.

Lani, oh my, that Chiefs game! Ugh. I have a feeling there's a good chance they'll be playing the Bills again this season.

Clynn! LOL, I just hit post and saw you had posted while I was typing. Yeah, I guess my niece is driven. LOL, I went back and shortened my post from last night... it went on too long!  ;) :D  Your yellow leaves this morning are pretty. Oh, the fun of playing in the leaf pile!  :D

Happy Day, Beakers!  :)

Our city and community is promoting Ginko trees...The Male Ginko does not produce berries and that's what they are planting.

For the Chipmunk in My Yard

By Robert Gibb
I think he knows I’m alive, having come down
The three steps of the back porch
And given me a good once over. All afternoon
He’s been moving back and forth,
Gathering odd bits of walnut shells and twigs,
While all about him the great fields tumble
To the blades of the thresher. He’s lucky
To be where he is, wild with all that happens.
He’s lucky he’s not one of the shadows
Living in the blond heart of the wheat.
This autumn when trees bolt, dark with the fires
Of starlight, he’ll curl among their roots,
Wanting nothing but the slow burn of matter
On which he fastens like a small, brown flame.

TSK, I just noticed, it looks like that cute pup in the leaves - a Corgi, I think? - only has one ear... or is the other just camouflaged?

Clynn, I just noticed in your Peanuts leaf pile picture that Linus's blanket is hanging in the tree! LOL!

I don't think I'm awake yet. LOL, I'm heading for some...
