{{{Puff}}}

Tsk {{{Tim}}} sure hope you're recovering  nicely and back to your old self very soon. You had quite a day
yesterday getting Syrian family settled. My mother's ancestors are from The Levant-strip of land bordering between Syria and Israel

CLynn I just talked to Jim  at work- he sounds better. It's Friday and the weekend, I let him sleep to Noon and bring him a hot
cuppa Joe in bed.

Got Jim's time off for 9-30-24   3pm      the last date of my knee  gel injections,  conflict all  settled

Hi Lani tks for Royal up dates.

Lani, yes I just want to cry for the people and their homes and places of work after I saw what happened this week in LaPlace and Reserve, LA, and other places, from Hurricane Francine. Just an awful calamity for those communities! So many of the people there were just really getting back on their feet and in repaired/rebuilt homes and businesses after the devastating Hurricane Ida ruined it all just 3 years ago... it takes many years to come back from that kind of damage, and some people never do. I think many people who have never been in areas that have had to deal with that kind of flooding and damage don't really know how long it takes to get back to normal - it always takes years, and some people never get back to their pre-storm flooding and damage normal life. I'm glad Mike's plant is back running again, and those employees can work and earn income while trying to make their homes livable again, hopefully.  :(  Prayers for all affected by the storms and damages.

Two hurricanes caused devastation in same areas, 3 years apart...

Hurricane Ida, 3 years ago:

Good rainy afternoon!   My mother was born on  Friday,July 13 th.  Died on July 3rd, 1959 at 54.    Kind of spoiled the 4th celebrations for me!
Lisa, Big Mama and the little dtinkers are cute. so sorry they are stinky!

Seems like the Albies are too young to take off over the water alone for so long!  God speed  tothem.
Glad Mikes plant is up and running.

Good deed Tsk.  Hope you are rested

Phyl, glad your shots were alproved and that Jim is better.

Felt like Ollie  for the past two days.  Not sure What I did to my back but had to go to the hard drugs to stop the pain and be able to walk!  Back to tylenol arthritis!   Some better.

"Where's the ball"...magic trick....at first I thought this might be too cruel, LOL, but no it's funny!

Voila!...Trevor helped for an hour and a half and we got plenty done...his truck/trailer were full.
Most importantly, I can now fit both mower and snowblower in my garage at the same time along with my SUV....never again will I move either one of them down that steep hill to Scott's shop....nope.

and Only 100 bucks....!!!!!!! I told him next time I'll have him come take a look at my attic, which is full, oh boy!.

Mostly feels good and can even get in and out of my car door with heavy coat/winter clothes on and not rub them against the salt on the car....

It's the simple things ya know!

Ollie is pouting on his couch out in the closed up screened porch...we have a long time to go.

Only one time did he try to get us to play with his ball...nope nope and nope...no running said the Doctor I said. I take him out back only on his leash now or he'd take off after squirrels and chipmunks. That adrenaline gets going even if it hurts him ya know.

This will be so much fun going forward, NOT

CLYNN  I love that heart board!!!  Even tho. it is at the end of the day  - my 13th went really well for all that I had going on including a pickup at O'Hare   LOL   It was the first apt we did that was awful - Not finished yet  - mold etc.  The second one was the biggest with the most room for storage.  This third one was the most furthest east and 1 1/2 blocks from the Lake!!!  2nd floor - building needed maintenance, apt small, two bedroom but 20 yr old dtr and 15 yr old son would have to share a room????  They'll work something out  LOL   No doors were hung anywhere - even bathroom - no hardware in sight.  Very little to no storage in kitchen.  By our standards, it would be rough but am reminded they may have come from hovels...Don't know  ??? :-\  I believe the rent is picked up for 6 months as by that time they are expected to have jobs.   What an interesting poem to memorize.  I've never heard of it  LOL

PHYL   Driftwood and the kingfisher 365  :)   Aww cute kitty hugging black one.  Do you have any pics of your Mom's ancestors?

LISA  Tim picked up Ozempic today - Need I say more.  He leaves Sunday for 3 days in Door county with his brother.

LANI   Loved the "plotting" cat gif  LOL  Cute pics of Dad and TF  ;D   Good news about Mike's plant.  I wasn't home most of the day - Work breakfast meeting lasted 3 hours 15 min!  Just finished writing summary of meeting and doing a pick up at O'Hare.

KAREN   I"ve had a round of back discomfort this week as well - Did some weeding early in the week and that did it  :P  Amazingly my go to drug Aleve did not do it for me so just stuck to Tylenol which doesn't do much either  sigh.  It's getting better on it's own.
Tomorrow will be a better day after some rest.

TIG   WOW  You couldn't have predicted that...Were you ever lucky.

KB   LOLOLOL  When Ollie is better you try that with him  LOL    AMEN  What a relief to have a functioning garage!!! God bless Trevor!

BAZI  So right about No app..

Yep... Our annual trip "up north"...
When I checked in just now, they handed me a gift bag with a bottle of wine, 2 glasses and some chocolates. They remembered why we are here. How nice?! We're glad we switched to this property a couple of years ago.

And, a lovely 67 degrees just now.
We lunched at an old standard... http://pickwickduluth.com/

Tig that was thoughtful of management

Tsk Nope no photos. 2,500 yrs ago---the whole lot eventually migrated into Europe interbred . All I know. The Native American was just in the 20th century .
I wonder what your immigrants left to come here. Istn't there someone handy that can fix those temporary apts up a bit ? At least some
privacy for the females, family or not.  Youknow ?  I'd think the daughter could sleep with her mother ???  IMHO

KB  you are so fortunate/blessed to have the help you have. But, you know that  ;)

Lani  sounds like some good news for Mike's plant

Baz  Nope 'no app' for forest bathing and wildlife. But one  day ...     {{{ LaPlace and Reserve, LA }}} prayers continue

Think I'm caught up for the day.
Dinner is Tex Mex, no dessert. But lots of Sangria , salsa and refried beans with green chilis salsa baked on top with M. Jack Cheese melted and those 'On the Border'  restautant tortilla chips

An early Good Night Everyone... SEDs.
