Bounce

I purchased tickets in June to these sold out shows we attended tonight. At a neighboring 102 yr. old restored theater. Annual performance or the movie White Christmas. Preceded by a 20 minute piano and vocalist presentation of songs relating to Rosemary Clooney. And that was preceded by a half hour organ concert on the Wurlitzer that rose from the orchestra pit.

Hello Beakers

We got an unexpected snow fall this morning - about 1/2 in. - not much melting today, but should be gone in the next day or two as temps get above freezing.
At least we are not getting buried like Ohio, Penn., and NY the past 3 days from the lake effect snow - much of the area has gotten 50 to 65 inches in 3 days.

Good Morning Beakers

Lani;D diet after the holiday for Misty.  The vet suggested putting her on indoor dry cat food, as that has less calories than regular dry cat food.

oldguy - I had wondered if you got snow, since Decorah had a nice falling yesterday.

tig -  The theater is beautifully restored.

tsk - Awww, Lucy the traveler.  I bet Misty would be ok for a car ride for a couple hours, but Bandit, I doubt it.  He use to love to ride around Town with Jeff, then all of a sudden he didn't want anything to do with it anymore.

clynn, Puff, karen, kb, Phyl, and all - Morning  :)

TIG   What a wonderful evening you had!.     We have something very similar in my town built in 1928 also with the rising Wurlitzer.    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickwick_Theatre  It has a new owner now and talk is of bringing back live shows.  Tim's Uncle Bob used to manage the theater for years back in the days.  Has his picture taken with the celebrities who performed there.

OLDGUY   Would make me think twice about an orange cat  LOL      Claire and her award winning cats  ;) ;)   Bellamy and her puppet was cute.  She's learning more complicated pieces on the keyboard.

LISA  Beautiful Xmas morning photo.   Interesting what your vet said.   When we got LUCY from the shelter she was over weight.  Vet said give her only dry kibble as a treat.  She would lose weight on a wet food diet!!!!   And she did over time lose about 5#s   How vets can be so different.

tsk - My vet wants Misty to eat wet food, cause it is better for them as they get water from the wet food, and less calories then dry food.  Misty is not really a wet food eater.  She will eat some, but not alot.  Forgot to say too, but if she won't eat the wet, he said to do the indoor dry food.

Good morning bakers love all your morning pictures
Fill your temperatures are higher than we have down here and we do not look like we’re going to have any real nice weather until next Monday when we’re back in the 70s as a high for the day in the meantime I’ve got a couple more nights of having to keep my impatience covered to try to save them since the weather is going to warm up so much. I hate like the devil forward to freeze but who knows there’s always more seeds to plant.
All I found out from the cardiology visit was that I was the same as the last time I visited and they made an appointment for me in February so I guess I am expected to stay on this side of the side until then that is good news
Plan to do a few errands today wants to help arrives and will be back later. Oh and tsk I’ll have a couple of those cookies and I love restored movie theaters .I guess I really am a fan of all restored buildings anywhere or of any kind.
When my mother took me to the movies as a child, there were frequently live performances before the show one time, Michael Jackson was performing as a little kid. It was really a treat, and I hate that it stopped
Lisa and  Tsk, Good stories about the kitties in the car. I would be afraid they’d get stuck under the seat and run out when the doors were open. Good on you both for having fun with them at home and away.. I had a friend who had two orange cats and one was kind of a biter and I learned  to watch her all the time , the other was the  most beautiful cuddly sweetest thing I ever saw so I guess it’s like anything there’s differences in the individuals

TSK... pretty Pickwick. I love Art Deco!

I finally got our accounts balanced and bills paid, (on the new Chromebook) for now. Phew.
I'm off to pick up an Amazon order at Cub and make my annual purchase of spirits mixers for Tom and Jerrys. Other than that I'm resting my hip today, which is somewhat better. I postponed my annual good house cleaning for a few days.

Good Morning Beakers!

The internet is back! The Mediacom guy fiddled and checked everything, then it started working. He couldn't find anything wrong except that maybe it was the modem starting to fail. It's several years old, so we ordered a new one to have on hand. Luckily it was Cyber Monday, got it for half off! We got around 2-3" of snow Sunday night, NOT in the forecast! 33 today, 41 tomorrow so it will be gone!

Lani, great Royal Alby updates! GLG's nest looks more like a nest than the ones we have seen in the past! Love their courtship behavior!

Phyl, oh so many live cam moments to choose from! I didn't see that there was a limit that one could vote for! I am still watching them!  Thanks for Amy's Blog and love  the Christmasy pics!

Lisa, my kitties eat both wet and dry. All three of them are so picky, they will like something, I order 12/24 cans and then they turn their nose up. Harley is on the chubby side, he could stand to lose a little! They all love treats, they are the first cats I have had that like treats!

tsk, Harley, the orange cat, will nip at us occasionally. Sometimes it's 'pet me only 3 times' and if you try to do more you will get nipped. He doesn't really bite, just puts his teeth on you!

This shadow on the Superstition Mountains, Apache Junction, AZ, the cougar, only appears twice a year for approximately a week just as the sun is setting.  It was amazing to watch...I'm filled with gratitude having been there to witness.  Second picture:  Highway going into Oatman AZ

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

LISA   The only way Lulu eats wet food is if I mix it with water so it looks like soup  LOL  Then she just laps it up!!   If the Fancy Feast is chunky I blend it so it it like a puree.  Even a puree variety has to be hydrated.   She is really spoiled!  ::) ::)

PHYL  Cute decorations from nature.  There is something I love about a red cup with white dots  ;D ;D  Thanks for Amy's blog.  I"ll get back to the Explore link.  Looks like fun.

KAREN  You saw Michael Jackson as a little kid - Little did you know then...  I love Snoopy.  ;D

LANI   Thanks for the Royals update.  I remember the names from past nests.

TIG   Sounds like you have plenty to do without housecleaning  :-*

CLYNN   Isn't it irritating that Mediacom didn't find anything wrong...But you have a back up modem for a bargain  in case that is what it was.   Cool cougar - if it is real  ::) ::) ::)

From karen....

tsk - LOL, Yes, Ms Lulu sounds spoiled!

clynn - Glad to hear your internet is back working.  Wow, you got a nice amount of snow.
Bandit loves the Sheba Meat sticks...they look like a pepperoni stick, but come in salmon, tuna or chicken flavor.  Misty does not like them, she is picky and will only try some hard crunchy treats, but don't eat them often. Cool shadow on the mountain!

tig - Yay, on getting the Chromebook all set up, and bills are paid.  :D

Lani - Thanks foe the Royal update.

karen - That sounds like good news from the cardiologist!

Phyl - I have noticed that since Bandit has aged, he is starting to get thin.   :-\
