Thanks Tsk.  I found the name
Of the church from an article taking about an endowed scholarship she did!  The phone appears to be in service but the nail box 📦 is full!  Will try again in the morning! I’m  going to try her phone again as well and see if service is restored.

I am wirried about M and F23!   Hope they find a safe hide out!  Maybe tge church across from the nest will let them in!

All of this volunteer hardcore team of chainsaw ripping professional gentlemen returned safely back to NJ very late last night from NC.

I'm going to give them all to a man a huge shout out of heartfelt admiration.

I'd easily walk in & out of a true disaster zone with any of them covering my SIX again.

Tim P. _ Tyrone P. _ Mike J. _ John T. _ .

A very special place in your own souls now exists.   :-*

Raise your hand if you want to go _ with the huge big time admonishment _ you're going to see things you can't unsee.

We all made it home safely from NC back to NJ with all the digits and limbs we left with to the delight of our fair maidens.

I caught a flat tire on I78 near Harrisburg, PA around 9 PM.
A minor travel setback.

I actually can't believe that was the only flat tire we had the entire time there and back out of 4 fully loaded 4x4 pickups.

Trust me we brought plenty of easily accessible spares in anticipation of the tread conditions.

Pip.  :)     Holly shit you look like holly shit rapped in a death taco of shit.     :-* :-* :-*

I think Pip let me fall asleep last night with my boots on 4 the very 1st time.
Mud from places that I didn't know could gather mud  :o

Well rested after last nights heavy duty slumber.

Hey you cleaned up good.

Sloppy kisses from all the critters on sight on arrival.

A huge hug from my rock the Pippy holding down the fort.

She knows just as well as I do.
She has been on these type of 'missions' before too.

~ Now I see Hurricane Milton bearing down very harshly on the west coast of FL ~

Sadly Milton is going to spank Florida very harshly !

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, oh, I didn't know (or remember) that picture was Sadie's birthplace! Mike has a busy week, returning Friday, right? I always say prayers for him when he is traveling...  Lemon Oreos, love them! Lovely sunset at Brooks Fall!  Thanks for the CROW news, we always worry about them when the hurricanes are coming... Thanks for the Fat Bear pics, Grazer is a beauty, love her coloring, and her sweet little one!

BL, glad to know you are back home safe and sound and already headed out for another adventure!  I salute you and the guys, Tim, Tyrone, Mike, John you worked with to help your friend. A great tale of brotherhood and just plain, down-to-earth good people!! How sweet of Pip to let you sleep with your boots on...  You and Pip and Kopje enjoy your trip to the great Fall colors!

karen, any news from your friend in Ashville yet?

tig, very interesting drink! Sounds good, what do they call it? Or did you make it up?  ;D

tsk, Ed would never be up before me, unless he was up most of the night! His sleep schedule is all messed up ever since he started the pain management. But he was never an early riser, he always went to work at 9:00 nor later. while I was going at 6:00.

Lisa, LOLOL that Jeff thinks you should be up when he is! That would never work around here!  And then there is Kelsey, up at 6:30, to be at 9:00. We have caught her roaming around at night occasionally. She will go down and check her phone or use the restroom, so we don't really know how much she sleeps!

baz, you are our favorite storm monitor! Here is a picture of the traffic leaving Tampa yesterday. It will probably be worse today...

The Apostle Islands Sea Caves, Wisconsin.

Why hurricanes are getting more powerful—more quickly

Warm waters are like fuel for hurricanes, and hotter ocean temperatures are fueling explosive growth in storms.

BL   Your crew is home safe and sound.  Wouldn't want to change a flat at 9PM tho.  A job well done.  Enjoy the color on your next adventure to Lake Lila with Kopje leading the way.   You and Pip are a great pair.  How did you meet?

LANI   Awesome Brooks Falls photo.  " Planes, trains and automobiles " for Mike  :D  His partner goes with?

CLYNN   Hope all those folks on the road can get off before Milton hits.  Keep an extra gas can in the trunk?  Barb and Tom - for their anniversary went to the Apostle Islands and took the 2 hour boat tour..

PHYL  Even if set up, I like the acorn on the leaf  :)

buenos dias

A Mexican restaurant took over our favorite pizza place (around since the 1970s) just down the hill from us. They have several versions of this margarita. I add the pop (and lots of ice) so it isn't as strong. The ice helps keep the popsicle cold longer too. And I use the skinny popsicles. At the restaurant they use the large full size ones!  https://cancunmexicangrillcantina.com/

Think I missed something?  Are there new cams mounted at Great Spirit Bluff?

New pic of ledge and much closer pan of falcon in trees.

"Breeze" is starting to show at SWFL now.   :'(  Things are being given a new forecast the last hour or so.  In case you haven't heard newest forecast - it's now  a mandatory evacuation.

Prayers in double now.   Tony's son/family in Ft. Myers.

Good Morning,

Phyl, Lani, tsk, clynn, Lisa and baz  Thank you for your kind words and prayers for my son and his wife.

tsk, Yes they can still live in the house. Good! And yes to SF. The chokecherry wine your folks made sounds potent! LOL

I apologize for the delayed Thank You. We went away last Friday morning and just returned late yesterday.

Wishing all in the Beak Room a pleasant day. Take care.
