Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, love those naughty puppies! Interesting space news, meteor shower today! Love Chickadees, beautiful breathtaking forest...  Currently 28, high 37 today, sunshine and clouds.

Lani, love the good night pup with one eye peeking out! Honey used to do that, open one eye to see what was going on...

BL, sounds like you are having a spectacular time, good jams and a great bonfire... with good peeps!

baz, Fridge Day!! And Zippo's birthday!

tsk, that is actually a picture of Honey from years past...

Yesterday/s Dr. appointment was good, have one more appointment this morning for an ultrasound of my carotid arteries. A1C was 6.1, blood pressure 126/80. Both kind of surprised me! Lots of specialized tests being run on all they blood they took - 4 vials! They will send all of those and more to the retinal specialist I will see next week.

Sam and Sophie this morning:

Yikes, between those pictures posted and now I realized it was 8:42 and my and my appointment was for 8:45! It's only about a mile away and I got in fine, just a few minutes late. Don't know the results, of course, but my blood pressure was 116/80. Even better than yesterday...

Wow, that was fast Amy! And now we are in the 2024 Beak Room!

BBL, have to run to Sam's...

Good Morning Beakers

Just as I was about to hit post, it seems the forum was undergoing maintenance.

E4E - Sydney loves the drum set, especially when her Daddy is beating it up a storm.  I waiting for a video of it.

BL - Having a good time?

Lani - I just asked Bradley this morning, is the house all in order.  He says, it is getting there.

Phyl - Pretty morning greeting, thanks for the 365, and for the links on space news and meteor shower.

clynn - That pic of the SNL cast was when the show was good!

tsk - Beautiful morning flowers.

Good morning Beakers!
Hi Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Omasawyer, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

I was a bit confused this morning. The link to Decorah Lounge was usually in the middle, I saw Lisa's name clicked on it and ended up in the Decorah thread. LOL! Here we are in the new 2024 Beak Room!

Thank you Amy for organizing the threads for the New Year!  ;D

Phyl, love the gorgeous blue jay figurine..... Love Chickadees, ours have not migrated to the valley, sweet nature video... we'll miss seeing the meteor shower. It'll be cloudy with possibility of snow.... stunning view of Uranus.

{{{Clynn}}} perfect nature made peace sign.... Love Honey's one-eyed peek! Our tabby Weezel would do that from his snuggy perch too... Oh my, I hate heights! Working at such heights is amazing to me, and what views! ... One of the best SNL cast ever!!  8) ... awww {{{Sam and Sophie}}} so sweet and such beauties!  :-* ... good blood pressure, prayers for your appt.  :-*

Lisa, I'm happy for the kids. New Year, new adventures and memories to create in their new home!  ;D

This is Aly's last day to work for Payson Community Bridges. She and her clients have shared lots of tears these last two weeks. But, she wants them to call her anytime. I guess she's not allowed to work across state lines in this new year. She and Dewey return to Oregon on Saturday.

Time to put our manger scene away.  :(

Happy birthday Zippo!  8)

Morning Beakers!

Wow - Amy caught my attention with the new Decorah Lounge 2024! :)   Thank you Amy!! :) :)

Lani - Do you still have your tree up? I think you enjoy yours for a week or so after the new year?  Are getting any rain?  We got about an inch between yesterday evening and early this morning. :)   So glad Aly & Dewey are there with you until Saturday! :-*

Phyl - Thank you for 365 - cute chickadee!  Thank you for links  :)

Clynn - I bet the Munchkins can't wait to come over again and play with Sam & Sophie!  Hope Harley is hangin' in there with the newbies! ;) :) :)   Wow-the photo atop the World Trade Center in '79  :o  Thank you for that amazing picture.   Love the Sat. Night Live Cast. :-*
Glad you had a good appt report yesterday. Wishing you all the best.    Cute pics of the kittens!

Tsk - I do appreciate your question tho - thanks for asking. :)

LisaG - That will be so fun when you get a vid of little Sydney banging on the drums and her Dad too! ;D ;D

tsk, Sam is the one with the darker face, the Seal Point. Sophie is supposed to be a blue point, but she's not like any other Blue Point I have had. I think there is some Siamese Snow Shoe in there (the white back foot and one toe in the front, and the different coloring on her face.  Here is a picture of a rare Siamese Snow Shoe from the web, and I think that is what she is... The second picture is Sophie.

Lisa, I am not getting anything done around here, that is for sure.  They are sleeping now... The drums, sounds like Bradley is really enjoying them!  ;D

Here are just a few of the classic SNL clips!

Lani, oh, I bet Aly is sad to have to leave her patients from Payson ... she will be missed I am sure. You have a couple+ days left with Aly, and I am sure both of you will be busy! How is Mike, and also is Shannon doing well? Loved the old SNL days, so many laughs!

E4E, yes, Erin said the kids want to come and see the kittens again! Harley has been mainly in the Mole Hole with Ed, as usual. We haven't really put them together yet, trying to get them used to each other's scent...

Sarah, Kelsey's helper today took this picture just a little while ago:

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

CLynn  Sam and Sophie are beyond adorable. Thanks for added info on markings. and, snaps of them.
OMG Dan Ackroyd was so cute. I don't remember him being that 'cute' back then. LOL 'The Not Yet Ready For Primetime Players' is what they were called , I believe..
So far so good for you and your doc appt next week. I wish my appt w/ ENT would go so well on   Jan 10th. I swear if a word is said about being late getting to this visit that ought to have happened on Dec 6th the fur will fly far and wide!!

Tsk Amy sure has been working, alot! We're all set fot the new year now.   I'm guessing if the skies in your area are clear and M. shower is visiable---you'll see it.  I've on;y seen one in my lifetime---just awesome to t he max.

BL  having some fun?  ;)

Lisa when video of Bradley and Sydney is ready you must publish it here. Still have the cirtter cam out back?

Lani  that's on puzzled looking primate!   Safe travels for Aly/Dewey.
