Baz- Wow! You sold a motorcycle still in the box!  Never heard of a motorcycle in a box! Lol 

Phyl- Good for you in getting everything straightened out with the trees.  I'm sure its not easy to try and stay on top of things.   Hope you get things all figured out with your Vet for your sweet Maggie!
Thank you Phyl; yes it was a safe trip, but I wished that my husband was going with me, but he stayed home as he didn't know the person who passed away.  It was an old childhood friend from the little town I grew up in.

Lani-  Thank you - and yes, has a safe trip.  I was nervous before I left here.  I almost didn't even want to go, but I was glad I went.

Clynn- How was your day with the Munchkins?!  Bet you had a great day!!

Karen- Thank you!    We actually had a pollen day over here!  My laptop always gives me updates and it had told me this would be a Pollen day!  Late this afternoon, I was out doing yard work, and looked down at my feet & flip-flops and they had an orange film on them!

LisaG- Sydney is cute having so much fun at her water table!! 

Tsk- I've never been to a Wayfair store, but we have ordered several things from them and they are wonderful to deal with!!  We only have good things to say about Wayfair!

Tig-  You sure woke early this morning!  I would have went back to sleep! Lol      Sounds like you are having a good time.  Camper is so sweet in surprising you with a card!!     Just saw the card - so pretty!!!!!      Camper and his solo boat ride!!!! Wow!!

Kb-  Good job in figuring out the problem with the mower!!!!  You are awesome!!!!   I like Ollie's pic out in the yard!

Lani- Just read about Mike and the day you guys had.  I'm glad he is home now and resting.  You need to rest too!!   Don't worry about getting back on here tonight.  You need to take care and give time to yourself.   That must have been a scary situation when Mike was having pain.  Thoughts & prayers for you both.  Wishing you both an evening of some good rest & sleep.

This little "Shorkie Tzu" reminded me of you Karen aka "Yorkie Tzu", and "Shih-Tzu-Yorkie".  They are small in size with fierce, and loyal personalities inherited from both bloodlines.

EAGLES    How nice that you made the trip to honor your childhood friend.  This is the first ever Wayfair store!!!  They are trying something new.

Good Morning Beakers!



A good day with the Munchkins! Bella was all about her doll today! She was the stylist and did her doll Ariel's hair several times, and we painted her nails! We went to check out a new park. It was very different than our neighborhood park! It was more wild and had a trail that went all around a piece of woods, even a bridge over a creek. It was on a hillside and kind of broken up. The only problem, there was no place where a parent could sit and see the kids, except the little playground for the toddlers. And there were no kids there, I don't think our WDM schools are out until tomorrow.



tsk, I have purchased from Wayfair, it was a good experience! I can't imagine a physical store, they seem to have everything! It would be huge!

Lani, sending lots of prayers for Mike and for you! How scary for both of you, hoping and praying all is well and it was nothing serious...

Phyl, perfect timing on the Flyway sunrise! Love the vintage morning ads!  Maggie is a beautiful older lady, she proves that you have taken very good care of her!

E4E, good day with the Munchkins! They seem much older than last summer! Talon will make a good scientist, not sure about Bella yet!

not much bounce

I slept from 9:45 to 1 and then 1 to 4 and then 4 to 8 !! Knee pain and the reality that I need to prepare my soul and body for replacements are making the tears flow.      I have to take more pain meds just to get down and up the 12 stairs to the boat.

Camper did well last night. He has driven a couple times with me in the boat over the years. I think the stability of the pontoon made him want to give it a try. I was watching from the cabin. He called me from across the bay and noted he had the depth finder running. I reminded him of the approaching point of land that I had mentioned when we were on a ride a couple days ago. As he approached he called out the depths... "35 feet, 28, 17, 10, 9 ... oh my! I'd better swing a little farther, it really extends out quite far!"
Ah... the inexperience of youth, LOL. I went down to guide him in with hand signals (I know about his tendency to make a sharp right while driving, LOL) and he did just fine for his first time.

BL - yes. First ride out for the year always starts with a hello to Mom/Dad and a quick cry for the memories of fish stories and lessons, campfires and love. Then, it is the lap on the side, the loon in the bay, the eagle on the wing, the wind that dries the tears, the first strike and the wonder... "Is it a *&&$$% perch?!?" . 

Going back to bed to get the knees up. Might go out for a few casts before an afternoon rain.
