{{{Baz}}} Good Lord! All this beeping! Way too much activity going on in your home for someone with a broken finger and much rest is needed. I can only imagine how Zippo dealt with the noise.... Glad your ortho hand specialist went well.... my cats don't seem to mind the citris or scented candles, considering I have them going all the time. And they hang out with me. And we live in a pine forest...coffee grounds, bananas... poor things are surrounded by smells they can't stand, hm, that explains a lot.
Phyl, I checked on the Sauces nest. I guess something happened to the egg. 
... Harriet has had this nest for almost 14 years or at least as long as I've been watching. Her first mate Ozzie was killed in the summer by an RTH in the summer of 2014. If she does not return, it means something happened during the winter months or on her migration south. Ospreys are very territorial like eagles.
Thanks BL for explaining the new Decorah nest. That's a shame the other didn't work. Someone thought they might have eggs. I hope they didn't... I hope all goes well for them... great map of Decorah.
