Hey Ralph where the heck are you going ?

I have always been a fond proponent of going for just a walk.

Tsk, glad Tim is home.  :) ... Mike is in Houston. He's giving a presentation to several people tomorrow, including a couple of men from Mexico. He's also looking at land for a possible new company outside of Houston.

BL, thanks for Rutt update... How interesting and special to learn about The Old Stone Church, it's rich history in our country's life. And a special peaceful place where your parents and brother are buried. Thank you {{{BL}}} :)... Ralph  ;D

Kb, awww sweet pup and horse. I'd love to know their story.

Oldguy, you just get the snow cleaned up and here comes another storm.... Miri is growing more and more into a Maru 2.... Take care.

Kb, BL, thanks for keeping us updated on Rutt. I want to know he's settled in a territory he can call his own.  :-*

BL, Gordon Lightfoot to close out the night.  8)

Eagles, glad you had a nice visit with your SIL and her fiance. Safe travels for them.

Good night!

Praying for Peace

When Cigarette Companies Used Doctors to Push Smoking
Before studies showed that cigarettes caused cancer, tobacco companies recruited the medical community for their ads.

Sixty years ago, on January 24, 1964, the U.S. Surgeon General announced a definitive link between smoking and cancer. Before then, tobacco companies regularly recruited the medical community for their ads.

Good Morning!  As Robin would say, Piper and I were up at dark thirty this morning!   Still drinking coffee, cuddled in a sweatshirt lounger!  Phyl, your temps today are about like ours!   Sounds like most of us need to get our seat belts on for the next few days! Tsk, Lake Michigan warm temps may save you from too much lasting snow!  Not sure about Puff!  Old Guy, take it easy with this wet, heavy stuff!   We depend on you for  too much info!
Bl, very nice story about your family home! Fun , historic area full of beauty and lovely resting place at the olds tone church.   Like Tsk, I have been known to  wander through cemeteries, reading headstones!  Find some interesting  things!
Todays excitement brings a trip to the internist!  Have not been for 6 months and this blood work will not be as good as the last spectacular results!   Too much Thanksgiving and Christmas!   Phyl, how was your visit to the ent?
Kb, with all the grease, you need a case on Easy Off!

Good Morning Beakers!

tsk, glad to hear Time made it home safely!  Did you get the shelves finished? I haven't started mine yet...

Phyl, loved watching the Snowshoe Hare and his morning bath! Those feet! When you look at all the old cigarette advertisements you can see how true the truth is...

karen, 22 here, high 27. Winter storm warning starting this evening. I am going to call the Dr's office today and see if there is any time today that I can come in...

Lani, wow, Mike is opening another plant!  Good luck for his presentation today!  Thanks for theupdate on the Albies! We just wait now for those eggs to start hatching...  ;D That good night cat, what a sleeping position!

BL, beautiful old church, and such a history! New England is so full of history, I remember walking through the old streets of Fredericksburg MD, all the historic buildings and the history that happened there. Have been to Gettysburg, I can't explain the feeling... There were stores in Fredericksburg that were used as hospitals during the Civil War, and all the old graveyards... I could spend a long time there. And in that church and the graveyard ...

Mark W. Barker approaching the Duluth canal during a light snow this morning. The Barker was headed to Fraser Shipyards for a pit stop before loading ore at Canadian National Dock 6. January 6, 2024

That phone looks like the red toy I had in my youth.
Love the Barker... they are into lots of salute horns at the bridge.
Looks like we will get some snow tomorrow after all.
I'm getting the car serviced this morning.

Holy Moley!...I see something blue when I look up and also a big yellow ball up there!
It's been a very dreary cloudy winter here to date...
Too bad it's getting so cold out....but at least it's nicer to look out my window.
Was starting to feel like I accidentally moved somewhere else, er um, like Seattle.

Morning all.

kb  Just saw that big yellow ball too.  For about 37 seconds!  Must have been a mistake.  Quickly back to grey. :-\

Out to mail some documents to clients - 10 days in Hawaii.  Sounds tempting.

Then fill up the hot rod (just in case).  Then hibernate for a week?
