Hmmm, I would like the lantern to go with the door hanging!  A flag of 4 leaf clovers and I would be set!    Not an Irish bone in my body, so I think, but I love a lot of Irish stuff!

Sleep well Beakers (and  E 23)

T40   It was quite a Pi year in 2015  LOL

tsk - I had to look that up! 3/14/15 = 3.1415 (Pi to 4 places) :P

Baz, We'll watch the Tarheels tomorrow night, talons crossed!  ;D ... our neighborhood website is very active. Also, Payson Humane Society is No-Kill, and that includes feral cats.

Tsk, We use to have a treadmill. I wish we had it again.

Phyl, the loose pets is not an issue. It happens in the fall or spring when the weather turns nice. I was just sharing how we deal with it to Kb... pretty lantern.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, I have seen other articles about the possibly very active hurricane season that may be coming...scary... Be safe in the thunderstorms!  Love the scenery in the Pyrenees, especially with the birds! Interesting article on the Ides of March, I never really knew what it meant. Yum on the Grasshopper Pie!

Lani, what a cute dog in your good night! Glad you don't have mean dogs running loose! Are you and Mike getting all geared up for March Madness?  I love reading the Royal Albies updates, and it won't be long until the bears at NABC are out!

E4E, hoping your Mom feels a little better every day...

karen, Ed is Irish on both sides and he basically pays no attention to Saint Patrick's Day!

tsk, you mentioned algebra...ugh. I liked geometry much better!

Lisa, we had a few really nice days this past weekend, I opened the sliding door and let the kittens out on the deck. They loved being out there and watching the bird shows! Always some action there with the squirrels, the chipmunks and the birds!

Sycamore Falls, Arizona

1 month old baby otter at the Miami Zoo....baby otters are so dang cute!

Happy Friday all.

Leashed dogs know they are vulnerable around a loose dog. They know they can't run away nor greet a dog in a natural dog way....hmm, sniffing etc.

Loose dogs know the leashed dog is more vulnerable too. They don't have to be normally mean to lash out and bite. I asked the officer after a loose dog attacked Ollie unprovoked. Literally charged him from quite a distance away, Why?...she said there are multiple reasons. Lost? afraid? territorial can make a normally friendly dog do this.

Leashed vs. unleashed is ripe for a confrontation. Not always of course but heightened probabllity.

One more day of above average temps and then the bottom falls out...with that S word in the forecast at the end of next week. Of course they've predicted it before only to not happen, but temps are colder incoming. Lots of people have put their shovels and snow blowers away.

In fact my mower was returned to me yesterday all fixed!..cable for the self propelled function broke and the gear needed oiling. Should be much easier this summer to mow my steep hill. Yah!

Good Morning Beakers

Phyl - Grasshopper Pie looked good.  Thanks for the links this morning. Cute lil squirrel.

karen - LOL, I am like you...love the Irish stuff, but not Irish.

E4E - Hugs for your ((Mom)).  We are having another warm day.  The high for today will be 73°, but I see some rain in the forecast for this evening.  I do have all the windows open at the moment to let some fresh air in.

Lani - What a beautiful pup in your good night pic.

clynn - My kitties would love that, if I had a deck.  But, I think I would never get Bandit back inside.  ;D  Oh, another great pic... Sycamore Falls, Arizona

Lori - Thank you for remembering my big guys birthday!

tsk - Oh no, you didn't get to go on your walk, but treadmill, next best thing.

kb
- Cute otter.

KB   Yes sireee - A cutie - Love the nails  :o   Glad your mower is fixed.  Trying to take it in during the peak season makes it almost impossible to get it back in a timely fashion.

LISA   Love that single 4 leaf clover  :D  How old is Bandit now?  Special treats today?  ;)

KAREN  The river gets dyed tomorrow as is the Parade!

TGIF Beakers!
Hi Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Omasawyer, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Phyl, we're having a well-needed rainy day too. It's been several months since we've heard our first thunderstorm. It's a treat for sure  ;D .... thanks for today's nature video and history lesson.

Clynn, well, I'd like to think we don't have mean dogs, mainly they are aggressive. Even at our gated community we have a dog park, they're are always one or two that are aggressive, like to have their way. Sadie's been attacked three times. All off-leash dogs because it's a dog park. We're cautious about taking Sadie to the park at certain times. She doesn't do well anymore in social situations with other dogs. We have one gal who has a very aggressive dog, she let's him run the golf course off-leash which is against Payson laws. But, because she's a well-known golfer, she gets her way. Her dog bit another dog that was on leash. She had been warned about allowing her dog freedom off the golf cart when she's driving through the community. Anyway, the guy reported her dog and went to court to get her to pay the over $1000 in vet bills. She fought it and lost. Ended up paying vet bill plus another $500 to the court for continuing to allow her dog off leash, even if its a gated community.  She continues to let her dog off leash on her golf cart and run the course. The HOA and Golf Course committee won't enforce the Payson leash laws on the golfers who use the course as their pet stop. Sadie hates the dog when he runs by on the course behind our home. And the owner flies by on her golf cart following him. Someday he'll come into contact with an coyote or Mountain Lion, she'll have to deal with that. The judge did tell her one more time he receives a complaint her dog will be taken....  I don't bring everything that happens in our life to the Beak. Her lack of respect for the law or community doesn't affect how much joy I have when I take Sadie for our daily walk or when Mike takes Sadie to the dog park in the late afternoon. That's his daily time with her.  I'm sure you find the current book I just wrote to you boring. LOL! But, it's just my way of saying, "just because I don't write about it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen here too." We just go on and enjoy the time we do have.... by the way, I love "Renovation Aloha!" Our first home was in Kaneohe (1971) then Mike's pop died and we moved to Kansas. What a treat it is to see how much the area has grown! Shocking cost of homes! My local tongue has returned. Mike noticed yesterday, and asked what show was I watching! I was sounding like I was back home in Hawaii. LOL!! ... beautiful Sycamore Falls! I hope Harley's appt went well, soon he'll be able to enjoy the porch with his siblings too.

Tsk, I hate math especially algebra, like Clynn, I did better in Geometry... Dr. Rogers hasn't reported any black bear movement from their dens.

Lori, wonderful birthday post for Bandit!  ;D

Lisa, The pup in my good night pic is from a rescue center.  :-*

Happy birthday Bandit!   :-*

Kb, sweet baby otter.

HAPPY DAY, BEAKERS!  :D

Clynn, how did Harley fare with the vet visit? I hope he's back to his regular life today.  :-*  I bet it's fun times for the kittens to see all the wildlife from your enclosed deck!  :D :-* :-*

Lisa, Happy Birthday to Bandit!!!  :D :-*

Lani, I loved reading your "book" to Clynn;D  Yes, it makes so much more sense to just deal with the frustrations of daily life as best we can and go on with the greater enjoyment of the best each day offers!!  :) :-* :-* And, surely, it's the same with me, and so many other regular Beakers, that we have much going on in our lives, and not always the good or fun stuff, that we never mention at all in The Beak. It just isn't very nice to unload all that "junk" here, day in and day out, that most of us have to deal with. It's also true that most of the regulars here do understand and care when any of us is going through a troubling or difficult time, and of course, we want to support our Beaker friends through those times. So The Beak is an extra nice place to share those kinds of things, in addition to our fun and celebratory happenings, which we love to cheer each other on about, too.  :) :-*  Ha ha, I love that you are talking like you're back home in Hawaii!! And Mike noticed!!   :D :-* :-* :-*

(((Karen))), keep on keeping on with your home exercises. You're doing great to follow them!  :) I hope you and Piper are getting to enjoy some of this nice, warm weather while you get to sit on your screened porch glider!!  :D

Gotta run, Beakers. Waving to you, All!  :) :-*

BEWARE THE IDES!!
