Stunning photo.

The she-wolf has this habit of wrapping herself around the neck of her wolf because the neck is the most vulnerable part of the animal.
By doing so, she shows him her unconditional love.
For ethologists: Wolves are the most loyal and loving animals: they have only one partner throughout their life. The wolf is known to have an almost extraordinary tenderness and affection towards his she-wolf...which she knows perfectly well to return

Happy Friday all.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, very good videos of the Albies, love it when they visit although those teenagers sometimes cause trouble! The parent is very patient but enough is enough! I can't tell the youngsters from the adults, is there something that distinguishes them? LWK is kind of a Nanny to TF!

tsk, glad to hear that Margaret is home! That was kind of scary!

Phyl, you and Maggie are both tough cookies! Come to think of it, so is Jim! A lot of tough cookies in the Beak Room ... Another great 365, love the sound of the waterfall and the cute little Mink!

karen, do you take anything for the vertigo?  I see there are a lot of OTC remedies, but I have no idea if they really work. It just seems like you are getting it a lot lately! I have never had it, but my sis Becky has.

Lisa, hope Mom is getting better every day!  Just wondering how many goodies you have stashed for Sydney!

baz, I have no doubt that you and your sister will be heard at the game! Eat lots of popcorn! And wear your Carolina Blue and White!

SF Bay Ospreys - Richmond stands out nicely in light fog. Rosie is hopefully winging her way here now from her winter migration location.

Happy Anniversary to Bradley and Kelly!

Good morning Beakers!
I just returned with Sadie after a quick run and getting ready to leave for the valley in 30 minutes.

Have a great Friday Beakers!
I'll be back this evening!  8)

I adjusted the albie pic of TF chick's nanny LWK. You can see the sweet single adult sitting and keeping the chick company.
I guess he does this with other lonely chicks while their parents are away foraging.  :-*

The rangers posted Manaaki was left alone at 34 days, TF chick is only 29 days. But it is summer, the Albies need to be hydrated and need more food to be able to feed their chick.

5 Hours ago, Dad LGK returned!  :-*
Great feed by Dad LGK for TF chick! A little attempted preen for 'the boss', then off again to go to sea for the next round. Champion LGK.

Lani, I want that dog!   He has many disguises! Good trip to the valley!
Clynn, love those red Norwegian houses!  Might paint mine red and start a new trend!   Wonderful picture of the sunrise!  Looks like fire.
Happy Anniversary to B and K!   Any great plans?   Has her mother moved in yet?
MD doesn’t think the vertigo came. Back fast from the last bout!   The effects from yesterday are part  of the  last  bout.  Otc. Stuff will not work and it is allpart of tge aging process!   If there us a choice in what you ger, at keast this is benign, unless I fall!  I am very careful!

The plot thickens at GSB today.  Newman was perched at the nest box about 10:30 this morning, no leg bands so pretty sure it was him.  And then, Lisa 53-W was back, perching on the box and chattering, about 11:00!  Didn't see any of them together on the rewind, but I could have missed an encounter.

I also think one of the peregrines was perching at the top of a tree on the bluff, but too far for a good pic. And Newman was at the overhang of the large feeding ledge, but too dark for a decent pic.
