KB  How in the heck did that dog get up in that tree  LOL  Hope he got down OK  Do we call him a "bird dog"?   ;)

BL   WOW  You have a direct connection to the fires.  Any of your other friends in the middle of it?  So very sad.  Hard to watch.

LANI   Thanks for notes to Lindygold and Weasel.  Haven't heard from them in a long time.  Beautiful goodnight prayer.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, thanks for the news on E4E, I was hoping they were okay.  Good news on the Horton fire, I think I need to find the Rain Dance video for you and for California. When  I was checking on your fire I read this article.  https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/firefighters-slowly-gain-ground-on-horton-fire-thanks-to-weather/ar-AA1vU5dx?ocid=BingNewsSerp   It says there are 525 firefighters working on the fire! Wow, that is a lot. It is just hard to imagine... I can hardly watch the videos of the Palisades fire. They have talked to many residents, hearing the sound of their voices and seeing them break down and cry is so very heartbreaking. Thank you for the beautiful prayer for all involved in the fires everywhere...

Lori, hope you had a good birthday! Destini, she will get over being mad at you by tomorrow!  She knows she feels and looks like a Princess but she has to keep you in your place! LOLOL!  Hope all your family is doing well!

baz, thank you for the roast beef dinner for Kay, I am sure she enjoyed it!  I keep in touch with her sister Debbie who lives in northern Florida, she is doing well. Your chili should be even better today!

Lisa, your snow will be around for a while! Same with my Mom, she got about the same amount as you did. I am so glad we missed that one, just barely!

tsk, thanks for bring breakfast! Did that site have any puzzles that tickled your fancy? Or are you swearing off for a while?

kb, great video of the cat and dog in the tree. A call to the fire department would be in order next!

National Geographic Nature  ยท Around 77 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous period, North America looked vastly different from today. A shallow inland sea, the Western Interior Seaway, split the continent into two landmasses: Laramidia in the west and Appalachia in the east.
Laramidia, a narrow strip along the western coast, was a haven for dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, and duck-billed hadrosaurs. Appalachia, separated by the seaway, had its own unique ecosystems. Dense forests, swamps, and evolving flowering plants dominated the landscapes, while marine reptiles like mosasaurs and ammonites thrived in the seaway.  The climate was warmer, with no polar ice caps, creating lush environments perfect for prehistoric giants.

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

tsk  All the talk day before re our area eagles . . . Article this week in Trib about local bald eagle that didn't make it.  Couple in Hinsdale doing their morning walk came across mature eagle at road edge on the ground, trying occasionally to fly, could not do so. Called Willowbrook Rescue - now called something else - who came to rescue and take to facility.  Long story short - was in advanced bird flu.  Had to euthanize,  sad to hear.   :'(  Provided a pic from couple.  Full adult, fine looking creature.  Protocol for couple, too.  Located on Ogden close to Rte 83, about 3 miles north of me.

Lori - was that a for real pic of Destini at the spa day?  BTW truth be told I'm now working on 82.   :o

Glad to be able to have a decent day and now another chance for another year.  Hope to be able to say the same after tomorrow.  Happy smiles and hugs for the wishes from all our friends here.

Good Morning Beakers

baz - Glad to hear that you did not get all this snow.  We are supposed to get the 20 to 30mph winds with high gusts today.

tsk - Reading your post last night about the shoulder, I hope it is feeling better this morning?  You remind me of Mama, she never let anything keep her down.  :-*

BL - Sorry about the very cool home.  :(

Lani - I sent E4E a message too, glad to hear she and Kris are ok.   :D

clynn - I think you are right about the snow being here a while.  I don't see any snow melt temps, but I do see some sunshine.  I hope that will help.  :)

kb, Puff, tig, Phyl and karen - Morning  :)

{{{Tsk}}} I hope your shoulder is better today.

Clynn, It is hard to watch CA fire news.. :'(..... It's cold and windy today. Hopefully today's weather will cool down the Horton Fire.... How is your mom? ... Love the Rain dance video {{{Clynn}}}  ;D .... National Geographic post is very interesting.

Puff, sad story about the eagle. I pray he or she didn't leave a mate alone with eggs.

Phyl, beautiful morning sunrise pics.

{{{Lisa and Jeff}}} I pray the sunshine will melt the snow. Prayers for your B&B kitties. I thought about them as I was breaking the ice on the 6 outside bird/wildlife water dishes that I have set about on the ground. It was 23 degrees at that time... brrrr, Sadie and I made a 15 minute stop at the dog park in the semi-darkness this morning.

Well, I broke my low temp limit from mid 20's to 20 just now to walk Ollie....bundled up but the roads are dry so took advantage after many many days in the single digits so no walky walky. We did it Ollie!

They came and dug internet fiber lines next to my house hook up, through my garden to the boulevard this am. Believe me I was nervous considering all the gas line breaks past history. They had to dig just below a gas line from my house to the property line. I just prayed. As it's been very very cold...a few weeks and they will hook it all up. Will drop costs and provide more reliable internet service i assume being underground. But, you know what they say about assuming!

Toilet still not operational...next above freezing temp high is next Thursday.....ugg.

Glad to hear your Horton Fire might become safer for you Lani...
Hope your snow melts Lisa and not too much for you Phyl.

I'm still watching the CA fires....too much history there for me not to. Glad to see the fixed winged Canadian planes picking up water from the ocean and dropping on needed areas...thanks.

Lani-seal pup is  so cute. Happy the Horton fire is becoming safer for   you and area residents

KB-Glad you and Ollie Man got out for a walk with you're improved weather.  Sorry to hear the toilet is still not functioning properly
I hope the predicted snow doesn't last long.
I've been watching CA fires too. Just last night I was commenting to Jim
how bewildered I was that not one of our states or a neighboring  countries are helping out  with CA's wildfires.  Then this AM on FNC a daylight clip was showing  water bombing aircraft  from Ontario,Quebec and British  Columbian owned  company's helicopters flying  over  LA  to aid on frontlines.
Tks northern neighbor.

Lani - That sure is one lil butterball  ;D  The B&B Kitties have all been in the shed, staying warm.  They come out to eat, and go back inside.

kb - I am hoping for some melt too.  Oh no, sorry to hear about your toilet.  Glad that all went well with the digging around your house.

Phyl - Be safe with the weather headed your way.

tig - Thanks for the link.

Good night, everyone  :)
