Phyl, beautiful winter snow scene!  So you are known as the Mealworm Pantry lady, how cute that they come back and see you often! Today's 365, love it! Some of the Dunlins are sleeping, others looking for food. The sound of the ocean, I love hearing it...

tig, same as here, brrr. For some reason I feel colder so far this winter...

Lisa, it's 8° here now! High 22 today. But not too windy, only 9mph!  Love the morning coffee, what a pretty design! I googled Latte Art! True artists do it by hand, either with the pouring or a stylus tool. And then there are the latte stencils! That would be what I would have to use!

tsk, do you cook your tenderloin in the crockpot? if so how long and hi/lo? A couple of times a year our grocery store has good sales on port tenderloins, one time last year it was buy 1 get 2 free. I bought 2 ($20) and got 6! They are 1 pounders.  On no, your puzzle injury! The weirdest things start happening after one turns 70! Maybe wearing one of those wrist supports, it helps me. I don't like those thick bulky ones, I am on my second ACE brand, it's lightweight and very easy to put on and take off.

KAKE News - Wichita, Kansas
Two linemen in Norton, Kansas went above and beyond during Sunday's ice storm when they got a bit of an unusual call... A mother bobcat and her kitten were frozen to the top of an electric pole. The linemen, Dominic Urban and Eric Hartwell, spent two hours getting both cats down safely. Both mom and baby ran off together and seemed to be doing fine, Urban told KAKE.

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

clynn - OMG, the bobcats!  Thank heavens for the linesmen!  LOL, I would have to use the stencil too!   :D

Phyl - Thanks for 365, and RRP posts.  Stay warm with your bitter temps.  Temps here have only went up 4°.  Its now 27°, and the wind has calmed down a bit, so real feel is now up to 14°

tig - Stay safe and warm!

Good morning Beakers!
Hi Eagles4, Lisa, Ezee, Eburg, Weasel, Jilltosa, Kb, Tsk, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eaglesrock, Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, BL, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Clynn, Lovely morning spring posts.... delicious crock pot recipe... cool building... I would have to use a latte stencil too.... Oh poor mama bobcat/baby. I bet a coyote was chasing them. Bless the linesmen who rescued them.....  brrrr, 8 degrees there... stay in and take care.

Tsk, yummy recipe... sorry to hear you are continuing to have problems with your puzzle arm. I pray the ortho doc can be of help.

Lisa, Love this morning coffee....  I always check for "feels like" temps before I leave for our morning walks..... brrrr, it is cold at your home... stay in and take care.

Phyl, sweet little Dunlins in today's nature video.... thanks for RRP blog... I hope the winds will die down and it gets a warmer for you. Take care.

{{{Tig}}} brrrr, keep warm and take care.

Hi Karen, I hope you and Piper will have a good day.

I just took this pic from the USDA National Forest website. The fire area is now 7032 acres, only 19% contained. The smoke was thick this morning, as the sun warms the skies it seems to be clearing. You can see on the map how close Payson is to the area. Our HOA community borders Star Valley. Which can be confusing for mail as Star Valley has a different zip code. Sadie's vet is in Star Valley.

PHYL   Thanks for Amy's blog!

CLYNN   thanks for all that info on " Latte Art "   Never knew there was a name for it.  Now I know how it is done.  ;D   Yes cook tenderloin on low about 6 hours or so.  Oh my gosh!!  Two cats frozen to a pole.  Wow What a rescue.  Glad they were OK.

LANI   Great close-up of RLK  :o   That map really puts it in perspective. Thanks

tsk - How did your appointment go?

Lani - Spent the morning cleaning off the car again, and went out for a haircut.  Rt. 50 is cleared of snow, but some side roads are still a mess. Our street has only had one pass with what they town has as a plow, and you cannot even tell it has been plowed.  My mailman got stuck in the snow in front of my house.  Thanks for the Royal update.

karen - I might have a place for those bobcats  :D

Ryan Hall reports:
Massive wildfire threatens LA communities right now - evacuation orders across Topanga, Malibu area as extreme winds fuel rapid spread. Multiple fires visible from AlertCalifornia cameras. If you're in the area, stay alert and ready to evacuate.

They just ordered evacs from high in the hills to the pacific coast highway...

Pics on google news.

With those winds forecasted well!

Fire is NOW approaching Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood!...wow, I used to live there.

And I'm still sitting here with an unusable upstairs toilet.....too dang cold yet.

LISA   Just got back from ortho appt.  Xray looks good - no arthritis  LOL  but a little fluid at rotator cuff insertion and some biceps tendon irritation.   Doc came in and had me talking a blue streak.  I didn't see it coming but gave me an injection during a time when he was explaining in a funny way how I should do some certain stretching movements  .  He was actually positioning my arm for the injection - Yow!!  I said " Nice trick to keep me talking and distracted"  LOL  Saw him about 2 minutes max.  His PA did all the work before he came in  I bet he sees 100 people/day!  Homework:    Use my arm - do stretches ( I refused therapy) and ice shoulder. Easy peasy.  LOL
I feel so bad for towns like yours anywhere in the USA that do not get big snowfalls and do not have adequate plows etc..  Your poor mailman.  Bet he dreaded getting out today.

KB   I don't remember you having that toilet issue in years past. ??? ???    LOLOL  funny pic of Ollie mourning his dead fish   ;D ;D   Scary in California.

TIG  Home in time to see casket brought into Rotunda.  :(

tsk - no in years past no. But just a few weeks back with brutal cold the same thing happened but opened as temps got close to 32 in a day or so.
Now it's not getting warmer so the issue continues. Now on day 3, and no above freezing in the near future.
I will have to reach out to someone brave soon..meaning to get on my roof and attic in cold temps.

Watching live feed from several places in CA on JLR investigates podcast....for awhile now
Many structures/homes now on fire....a huge machine is just moving left cars on the roadway. Meaning people got trapped on Palisades Drive and left their cars on the road and walked out. The firefighters have to move them to get to the fire. They are imploring people to leave the car keys in the car if you abandon it.
I recognize the areas very well. Winds won't die down till sometime tomorrow night.

However, There are worse things that can happen. I know.

Thanks for the weather info and  conversation.
I have  a stock pot of homemade chili simmering for tomorrow.
It's cold here...unseasonably cold.
29F still feeling like 19F with cloudy skies and a nightime of 27F.   No more rain today next will be this Friday  rain/snow mix---all day long into the night.
I should have gotten out today. I know.

Tsk--glad you saw Doc good news on Xrays and all. You got that right...that talking while they work on you is taught to future doctors in  first year med school.  ;D
Not to be bossy---do your PT.

KB- so funny Ollieman mourning his dead fish.  That fire in Cali...    :o   (to myself perhaps I should call Dan, anyway.)

Well Beakers hope you all had a good day at home or out and about.  Sending 'SEDs to all."
