Hope everyone in the path of the winter storm is prepared!.

For us we've had very very cold prolonged spells....not the typical couple days of freezing cold, but 10-14 days of it in a row.

I conferred with my sis yesterday who made me feel less alone about NOT being inspired to do anything!
Inside nor out....One would think this is the perfect weather to get lots of indoor work done, NOPE not inspired to do anything, nor is she...
Oh well, lots of winter left yet. 75 days till spring I heard!

Clynn, we're fine... oh my Miss Bella looks so grownup at her new desk.... I remember a few ice and snow storms that shut down I-70 & I-135 in Kansas.... darling book store.
I didn't realized she still drove, good for her. Sounds like she has good help, safely hunkered down and family nearby if I remember. Plus her girls who come and visit. ..... Mike has neuropathy in his feet now.... hugs for your {{{mom}}} ...

PHYL   Beautiful wreaths.   Interesting about what states are good for eagle viewing.  No brainer - Alaska as #1  No surprise either with MN a strong second

TIG   No problem.  Just didn't want you to forget us  LOL   Settling down now to watch Bears Packers.

CLYNN   Good thing Mom is healthy.  Long way to go for medical appts    I'm so used to 5-10 min!  No comment on the poop.      Think we will only get 1-3" on Monday.

LISA    Snow starting later today but we are at the north end and only 1-3" for Monday.

Lisa-- the weather fates have smiled upon us living in The South.  .    Just a cold heavy  rain all d-a-y   lo-n-g . high temp  now is 40F and low 30F 100% chance or precipitation later and tonight.  Nice latte this AM.  Gonna go down and make some hot cocoa to make Jim happy.

KB-- no hidden meaning...you have a lot of confidence in your team today.

TIG   What a great way to end the season for the Bears - a win and against the Packers no less.  Exciting game and an ending similar to so many of them this year except they were finally on the winning end  LOL  Missed the part about Mrs M. being 102

Phyl, it was discovered by a construction crew on a building site. The area was ruled by Norse warriors way back when. It was probably buried or in an outhouse pit.  I would love to sit in that chair next to the fireplace and read...

tsk, Evansville, IN is the closest town with all the specialists. The small rural hospitals just can't afford to pay for them.

Lani, yes, Miss Bella is growing so fast! And she is into everything! She loves to make art, so the desk is perfect for her! One of the presents we got her is a thing that holds her iPad so she can make videos and such. Boy O Boy.

Slumbering in a hammock the forest critters that have joined me there.

I counted 427 mammals excluding us. 

The 1st Black Bear in a hammock taco was in NM .. yo just sleeping .. thought for sure it was jumbo my brother Fn with me.

I played dead at 8 yrs old and it has served me very well ever since for black bear.

Curiously I've never had many birds perch on the hammock rails that I'm aware of upon awakening other than Harold the Owl.

We will be checking on family today, Ed's family in Springfield and mine in Albion. Per the radar on TWC, it is still snowing at Mom's, looks like it will stop around 9:00 or so. The storm just moved out of Springfield. When I talked to Mom yesterday afternoon they had about 6" so far.
