karen - Oh no, sorry to hear about your help's father.  Hope all is OK.

Lani - That is a good idea about donating cookies.  Glad that they can replace your battery today!

tig - Nice loaner car you got!  Mmm, that oatmeal sounds delicious.

Voila!....new garbage disposal and new faucet at same sink!...been using only the right side of my two sided sink for 10 days...dishes don't really get cleaned well with that set up...

previous disposal was 20 years old and faucet over 26...started leaking a bit with bad rotation valve.

LOL, Lori!! Thank you, sez Zippo!  ;D :-* Sometimes we celebrate her birdday on the 1st, to coincide with celebrating the New Year, but this year we are celebrating it on Jan. 3rd - tomorrow!! Zip sez Oh Boy!!  ;D  That's because the 3rd is the anniversary date of the day Zippo came to live at my home.  :-* :-* She turns 37 years old tomorrow!!  :) :-*

HAPPY NEW YEAR, BEAKERS!!  :)  I wish 2025 to be a better year for All!  :-* :-*

I never turned on my computer on New Year's Eve, I don't think, and I definitely didn't turn it on New Year's Day, LOL, but I'm here!  ;D

Zippo says Chirp! Thank you! to ALL! who wish her a happy birdday!  :) :-* We have often celebrated it on Jan. 1st, to coincide with celebrating the New Year, but this year we are celebrating her birdday on Jan. 3rd - tomorrow! Woot! Jan. 3rd is the anniversary of the date Zippo came to live with me!  :-* :-*  But she did get some extra treats yesterday for New Years, and her pre-birdday... lots of extra raw almonds - Thanks, Lori! LOL. You re-supplied her with those from your cake.  ;) :D  Tomorrow I will cook a sweet potato for her - one of her favs! She will be 37 years old!  :-*

I didn't think I would stay up till midnight on The Eve, but I got a 2nd wind, and I did! That made for a late breakfast yesterday - around lunchtime, LOL! I didn't open the bubbly on The Eve, so I opened it yesterday for breakfast at lunchtime, and made Mimosas - to go with my big pot of coffee and a large slice of Carrot Cake - the Breakfast of Champions!  ; :D  Happy New Year to Me, I told myse'f!!   ;D 8) Later, I made blackeyed peas with sausage and greens for my good luck New Year's Day dinner, along with a batch of yummy cornbread and butter. I added some shredded cheddar cheese and fresh chopped jalapenos to the cornbread batter, and it came out great - just used a box of good old Jiffy mix... kept it all very simple this year... and Mimosas went great with that dinner, too!  ;D

I'm c-c-cold, and heading across the street to check the mail, and then I'm going to make some homemade veggie soup for dinner, to have with some leftover cornbread. Nothing since breakfast, so I'm hungry!
  :D

Good night, (((Beakers))). Peace. SED.  :-*

 ;D ;D

Old Lang Sign, y'all!  ;) :D

CLYNN  You always have such a nice set of AM photos  :)   I think that is a great rule for ice cream.  I know I could follow it but not Tim so we cannot have it in the house.  When I had my girls party and served that special cake - the name eludes me now - I bought 2 pints of Haggen Daz vanilla to go with.  We finished one and the other was way back in the freezer.  He found it !  GONE... ::) ::)
Great shot at SWFL   Never underestimate the power of a tree.  ;)

PHYL  Gorgeous AM photos today  Stunning crane.  Watching Sugar bowl now - ND leading.  Stunning 365

LISA   Speaking of the puzzle.  No name of the company on the box so did a search and found it.  Notified them - China - They wanted a picture which I sent.  apologized profusely and would send another puzzle no charge and I did not have to send the other back.
Well, I declined the offer.  First I would never make the puzzle again and second I wasn't about to search piece by piece 1,000 pieces to find the missing one, if in fact it would be there  LOLOL.  I will just pass it on with a note saying what piece was missing...Sigh.

LANI   I didn't know there was a device you could buy that would charge your battery.  Thought it had to be done by another car with the jumper cable hook up.  Cute snowman  :D   What kind of car do you drive???  Sounds complicated but at least timely!!

TIG  Grandpa is a real sport  ;D      Do you know what some of the games are?

KAREN   Gosh.  I hope your helper's dad will be OK.

KB   A good day for you at long last.  Nice penguin rescue  ;D  BRRR

BAZI   Wow  37 yr old Zippo.  Mama is a good caregiver  ;) ;) ;)  Congrats. ;D   You do such a great job cooking for yourself.  Loved your breakfast of Champions  LOL   LOLOL  Hi Carl. LOLOLOL   " Old Lang sign - groaner.  Love them.

Karen, I pray your Help's father will be okay...

Kb, I bet you're enjoying using your double sink and new faucet.... Glad the BBC crew aided the penguins.

{{{Baz and Zippo}}} Happy Happy birthday Zippo! 37 years old  :-* Oh to be 37 again  ;D ..... Love Mimosas and Carrot Cake! My kind of breakfast  ;D...  "Hi Carl!" LOL!!!

Tsk, It's a NOCO Boost Plus GB40 1000A UltraSafe Car Battery Jump Starter, 12V Jump Starter Battery Pack, Battery Booster, Jump Box, Portable Charger and Jumper Cables for 6.0L Gasoline and 3.0L Diesel Engines. It's lightweight and easy to use. Mike showed me how to do it myself, and you don't need another car to do it. You can recharge smartphones, tablets, and any USB devices.

Oldguy, I didn't realize the 4 top seeds lost. They've been great games.

Tig, Great tactical games Camper plays.... I played Midway Board game with my brother in the late 60's... happy for ND, good games this week.

SED Phyl, glad to know you both are doing okay. sending prayer ... I thought the photo of the stairs is a cartoon. Interesting  ??? Looks like something that would be built in the Winchester Mansion.

SED BL, Pip and Kopje
