Baz, not quite!  Just a pitcher with a black top/insert filter section! Holds what  I am supposed to drink in a day!  I have had it about a year and the filter just gave out!   Supposedly you. Fill the pitcher after the  new filter is inserted and empty it.  You do this 🤡🤡3 timesto get it going! 😹 did not work.  A green light is supposed to app the ear if allis good!  No green light. 😮‍💨so. Filter in the water pitcher, hooefully, nothing more than the filyer in tthe dishwasher and the  iggie, the vent for the dryer!

The heat will ot lastlong.  Seems to be 5 days up and 5 days down!   I cannot believe two oftge impatients in my hangin basket are still blooming amongst a mushy mess!  Believe me,  this is not something fir House and Gardens Magazine!  I just cannot throw these brave souls away!

Lisa, run out and hug all the kitties in the back yard, for me!

Tsk, YIKES! Thank you Kim! All is safe and well now, when they leave again for Florida. For safety, We should probably have ours checked too.

Lisa, I have a triple berry recipe that you could make with ready made pie crust if you like. It's so easy with blueberry, blackberry and raspberries.

{{{Baz and Zippo}}} so glad the weather was nice so that you were able to get out for a bit.... I hope the storms stay away or it isn't severe, take care.

Phyl, thanks for Decorah North Memory lane blog.... cute socks from Miss Maggie!  ;D

Kb, stunning Appaloosa, perfect name for this beauty... Take care

Karen, I'd keep the impatient basket too, just remove the mushy ones. I hope the weather doesn't turn serious for you too.

Good night!

BAZI   Just Kim's nose detected the odor.  Don't know how long it had been leaking.  Thanks for that video.  Good to know about the Brita filter.   Take care with that weather system.

PHYL   Thanks for Amy's blog!   Maggie has good taste in slipper socks  ;D ;D ;D   Cute little felted? mouses in your AM post  :)  The sound of that blizzard was chilling.  365

KB   That IS one gorgeous horse.  :o

KAREN    Wonder if you could find a Youtube video on that brand of pitcher for your daily amt of water?  I"m not at all familiar with it.   Your impatiens just love where they are.  Lucky you.

Just back from B&T's hosting the family on Tim's side - sisters/cousin. Pot luck and mimosas and cookies.  Kim his cousin who is handy at everything!! -
smelled gas when she was helping put things away in the basement when everyone left
She thought it was the water heater.  Neither Barb or I could smell it.  Sure enough Nicor came out and 3 leaks around the water heater - two fixed and valve to fireplace shut off to be dealt with when they return from Florida.  YIKES - a close one.

TSK, YIKES! That's scary!! So glad she smelled it and it got checked and fixed!

So, did they not have a CO detector? Or it wasn't working?

My gosh, that is too scary!!

Just a heads up to all Beakers: A standard carbon monoxide detector does NOT detect natural gas !

Unless you have a dedicated natural gas detector in your home about the only way you become aware of a natural gas leak is by your nose via the added to natural gas by law rotten egg smell.

Heavy rain and a tornado watch this morning with a high of 72 forecasted.  Cooler weather would  prevent some tornados!   Our watch ends at about three this afternoon. Lisa, last night I watch the weather forecast and a storm coming. It look like out of the golfer Louisiana area north and west. They were tornadoes all over Mississippi, or at least forecast for such and some for Washington county Alabama, but both Mobile and Baldwin counties were out of the area that was good.  There were also a lot of straight line winds in the area as well interesting videos from an ABC channel
Tsk, I meant to mention the gas scare last night and forgot, but thank heavens for Kim and her sense of smell. That is a scary thing about gas, even though I think it is the greatest thing in the world for cooking and fireplaces thank heavens they got that fixed for the time being.
Phyl, your kitty slippers socks from Maggie are delightful and look like they will keep your tootsies  warm all winter how nice of her to find them for you. She must’ve been busy online while you were sleeping or she got Jim to do her shopping.

Baz, ism sure there is a video some place on the pitcher but I have tried all the suggestions so far and none of them work!   -will turn this over to the help!  To be honest, I am tired of filters and computer  operated appliances!  Be happy to just have knobs to turn!
Think the rain is out of here!   Good soaking for allthe local vegetation!

Cute little sloths!    They facinate me.  Would volunteer there if I lived close to them.   Sweet.
Tsk, your 🧩 is pretty.  I wonder if a stained glass window like thar exists some where! I’m sure  a cat, over would love that!   Ido not have  the patience  or the eye sight to do something like that!
