8 am Lord Cappy arrives with a female - his queen.
He bonded by standing on her


January 5 they were seen mid afternoon.
Cappy hadnt been seen for several days.
It appears fishing is poor - low tides - and he's been feeding back by the bridge

Edie arrives, and M promptly bonds with her.
She hung around all day.

Yesterday Edie seemed to be courting other males.
They landed in nest, to be chased off, but kept returning.

Lloyd is a lazy lover.  He wont bring her any fish.
Only one or two matings daily wont produce eggs.
He isnt seen on cam much.

Getting late in season for eggs .....

Lloyd the nest builder failed to bring fish or mate -
so today a strange male brot Edie a fish.
I called him Fishman.  What else?

Disappointed in Captiva osprey nest, we didnt get a mating pair. 
The male came and built a lovely nest - but didnt seem interested in a mate.

March 8 Edie, the female, gave up and flew off.

Guess I'll watch the Hellgate osprey this season.

Edie flew away March 8 and didnt return.
Suddenly yesterday March 13 she's back, Floyd's back, they are mating and he has brot her fish gifts!  They are also adding to the nest.
