Hello everyone! :)

I wanted to share an exciting opportunity with all of you who are currently working with or have experience working with vulture species. The European Vulture Conference 2023 is inviting conservationists and researchers in Europe and other vulture parts of the world to submit abstracts. This conference provides a platform to present your crucial work and make a significant contribution to global conservation efforts.

The deadline for all abstract submissions is on 15 June, only a couple of days left.

Submit an abstract now: https://congressos.mundiconvenius.pt/evc_abstract.aspx

In addition to traditional scientific papers, the conference welcomes diverse abstract submissions, including applied research, project reporting, and practical conservation and management practices. Even work that is indirectly related to vultures is welcomed - a couple of examples include mitigating the threat of lead ammunition for raptors or promoting human-wildlife coexistence to minimize conflicts with predators and combat illegal wildlife poisoning affecting scavengers (both key threats to vultures).

The European Vulture Conference will be held in Cáceres, Spain, from 14-17 November 2023.

There are also discounted ticket rates for early-bird registration (before 31 July). Here is the link: https://congressos.mundiconvenius.pt/evc_registration.aspx
