I got 2 views of him.  He turned toward cam then flew upward cam left.

I think there are 2 birds now.  Lots of activity today.
But I have NOT seen 2 on cam at the same time.
The one I see is peeping to another

Hey Shep, good to see peregrine(s) at the MSU nest box.  I'm not sure if it's one bird or two because they weren't together.  Also no sound at this location so we have to rely on "lip reading"  Ha, Ha.

I think the males return before the females. Might be info in the RRP blogs.

YES males return a week or more before the ladies to secure a territory.

Shep, it might be just you and me posting about this nest box, so please help me out with the times we use.  I calculate the time from the rewind bar and use my local time for Decorah postings because we are in the same time zone.  But East Lansing, MI, is an hour later than where I live, and this scheme is the same when we go to Daylight Savings Time.

So which is preferred and most accurate?  Do the same as for Decorah?  Or add an hour to the calculated time so that this MSU nest box is on its own local time?

Also, if there are MSU peregrine watchers out there, come on, take some pics and post them!

I use nest time
If cam is eastern I use eastern time
If cam is central or pacific time I *try* to use that time.
Is Michigan eastern or central time?
Some cams are on a line - hahahaha - I may just say dawn or noon or mid morning.  OK - cheating but I am doing lots of other things!
